The apartment is very well equipped and the location is excellent for nearby groceries, shopping, riverside walking. Excellent amenities with pool/spa, rooftop terrace. Lovely afternoon sun into the apartment and views.
We stayed in this apartment for 12 nights. From booking until we left, communication with the owner was excellent- prompt and clear. Julia met us and was very helpful. The apartment is in a stylish block about 2 mins walk from the 109 tram and about 5 min walk to the Victoria Garden Shopping Centre. There’s a pool and jacuzzi about 5 min walk away with limited sun beds. It’s a pleasant area. There’s also a cafe on site. We had a decent breakfast on one occasion. The area feels v safe. The flat was spacious for 2 - a decent size living and kitchen area, a balcony ( views of NYE fireworks) and plenty of storage in the bedroom. The bathrooms were very good with good showers. The kitchen is v well equipped - more than you could possibly use.The apartment is clearly a home for the owners and has a great deal of their stuff in cupboards and around about. This was not an issue and there’s enough storage. With more than 2 people - it might be a bit tight. The apartment was clean.All in all highly recommended and all within about 20-25 min tram ride into the heart of the city.
We had a great stay in this lovely apartment. The check in process with Julia was easy and it was good to have someone show us everything and to be able to ask questions. The apartment was very clean, amazingly well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The tram stop was literally outside the building with the tram taking you into the city centre in around 20/25 mins. The shopping centre across the road was also useful for popping into Cole’s for supplies. Communication with the owner was faultless. I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Location, location, location! This property is in a perfect location for shopping and heading into the CBD as well as the MCG etc. The tram stop out the front is perfect.The unit was a little smaller than expected but can handle four people. The kitchen is literally full to the brim with just about every knick knack you could think of. Not much room for groceries.
One disappointing thing is that the pool is not actually part of the building but it is part of the complex that "Eden" is a part of. The other disappointing thing is that the pool is not actually working at the moment and won't be until February 2025. This probably wouldn't have been a deal breaker but falls into the category of false advertising at the moment. It is part of the reason we chose this property and paid the money for it. Great owners to deal with though.

It’s taken a lot for me to write this review. Our trip to Melbourne was overshadowed by the neurotic messages from the owner. The initial booking was with his partner Angela and her communication style was warm and welcoming.
Once we had paid the full amount, he messaged me for more money to bring our toy poodle. We booked the property because it was pet friendly and we discussed with Angela prior to booking. We ended up transferring the additional cleaning charge to clean ‘any microscopic pet hair etc’ only to find the rug in the lounge room covered in actual white coloured dog hair! Our dog is a non shed black dog so clearly was from previous guests. We let it go, as we had much to organise with family in St Kilda, only to be accused our dog was barking when in fact he was booked in with a pet sitter as we attended to wedding duties.
During this debacle, our phone number was given to at least one other party as we received messages from a random about our dog, who was not even on the premises. We then received an apologetic email from the owner, followed by a call from his ‘friend’ checking that I would give a 5 star review despite the misunderstanding.
It is a lovely property but I could not handle the stress of these interactions in a future stay. I actually have avoided Stayz for future holiday bookings.

This review, posted months after the accommodation stay, states absolutely nothing about this lovely, modern riverside property with excellent facilities and wonderful shopping nearby, but is focused almost exclusively on her dog and her account of our response to the incessant barking of her dog while left alone in the apartment. We received multiple calls from several distressed neighbours who were disturbed by the barking and had reported this disturbance to the management of the owners corporation (body corporate).
We tried several times unsuccessfully to contact the guest by phone and text to kindly request her to deal with the unacceptable situation. We are always professional in all our communications.
As a result of this guest, we feel compelled to modify our pet policy and will no longer accept dogs. This is a pity as most dog owners are very responsible, but we cannot risk another disturbance to neighbours.
We will not let this unbalanced review detract from our proud guest record of outstanding hospitality and service, and the excellent property, facilities and location.
The property is very well located. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a balcony off the living room.A property manager met us and walked us through how to work the lifts, parking, unit access and pool access which was great.The aircon is located in the lounge room and flows through to the bedrooms. It is made clear that this is someone's investment property and there are rules to follow. Disasters were averted.
Had a great time, the apartment felt like home. Nice and clean and easy to get in and out with the tram right out the front. Will definitely tell friends
For a girl's trip to Melbourne, this was place was perfect. Enough space for 3 people, beds and bathrooms were clean and everything was provided for. Beds were ok comfy wise. Location was convenient and easy to access trams into the CBD, car space parking provided also added to the convenience. Close to the Yarra River Studley parklands. Also good for dining out options in Richmond after a long day sightseeing. We found everything we needed while in the apartment, even things we didn't realise we needed! The views to Melbourne City were nice and if you're lucky, you can see hot air balloons early some mornings from the balcony. Enough PowerPoints everywhere and enough space for 3 people to spread out. Overall, it was a nice place to come back to after a long day and we'd definitely stay here if we were visiting Melbourne again.
The apartment was exactly what we wanted for our short break away. It was very clean with a wonderful kitchen. Very quiet, with pool in the complex, coffee shop down stairs, tram stop right out front, shopping across the road. Right on the river with lovely walking tracks.
We had a great time in the flat, which is very well appointed. A nice cafe for breakfast and lunch just below and a tram stop just outside . Victoria Gardens shopping also very handy to buy groceries .

Great Apartment
The property is very well set up with comfortable furnishings. Washing machine, dryer & dishwasher very handy! IKEA just across the road. Tram on your doorstep to the city. Car parking & entrance to building very secure. Do yourself a favour & have breakfast downstairs next to the river at Kitty Burns!
