This two bedroom apartment on the top floor of the Boyd Building offers stunning panoramic water views of the harbour and Port Phillip bay.
Brilliantly situated on the New Quay waterfront with a great range of restaurants, shopping, tourist and transport facilities at the doorstep. There is a open living area with leather furniture, large TV, comfortable dining table for six and a sleek gourmet kitchen fitted with everything you might need, including Miele dishwasher, oven and hotplates.

The living area opens onto a full width balcony to admire those amazing views from the 22nd floor .
The master bedroom features access to another balcony, an ensuite, walk in robe and has a queen sized bed.
There is a second bedroom, also with views and a king bed that can be turned into 2 Singles and a second bathroom as well.
The unit has a washing machine and dryer, reverse cycle air conditioning and free secure undercover parking included. The Boyd building has an outdoor pool, gym and BBQ that you can use for the duration of your stay. New Quay is situated 200 meters from Marvel Stadium so it is a great location for attending AFL football, soccer and special concerts. Other tourist sites at the doorstep include the Melbourne Star wheel, ice skating and Harbour Town shopping Centre. Free trams from the door take you five minutes to the Melbourne CBD and all that it has to offer.

Convenient Quiet and Great Views

Great place to stay to visit Melbourne, watch multiple games of footy at Marvel Stadium a few minutes walk away and enjoy clear views over Docklands and out to Port Phillip Bay. Very responsive and helpful host. Thoroughly recommended.

Long weekend in Docklands

Just what we needed for our tournament at the ice rink. The appeal for us was location, a balcony to air out our equipment between games, washing machine/dryer, and a full kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus.

Sensational views and so convenient

Such a great location, two tram stops for free trams within 4 minutes walk. The apartment was clean and well-appointed with sensational views of Docklands and the city. Two good sized rooms and a fully functional kitchen, lounge and balcony made this the perfect location for a 5 day visit to Melbourne.

Convenience with a view

Very good location - close to downtown so you’re inside the free tram zone, but near the harbour and quiet since facing into pedestrian area. Can walk to CBD and river trail. Great view. Pool and gym are a nice addition. Host is responsive. Indoor parking if you need it.

Clean and comfortable

We had a great two night stay at Ballantrae - it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Great value for money and everything was as described. Easy walk to Marvel stadium and we found a great little cafe (Brotherhood cafe) a little further along Caravel lane.

Beautiful location rooms a little smaller than I thought they would be but beds were comfy would have been nice to have more linen and wasn't able to contact when I was having trouble finding the key box

Great stay in the Docklands

First of all the view from this place is simply fantastic and this by itself makes this a great place to stay. The location is also great, close to several tram lines and inside the free tram zone, and lots of restaurants along the Newquay Promenade. A grocery store and even a Costco are within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Steve was also a great host and responded to questions we had very quickly. The location of the keys is in kind of an odd spot, but Steve's directions are pretty detailed so make sure to read them first! Highly recommended!

Sensational views from every nearly every room. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated, lovely beds and linen. The apartment was everything we hoped for and more. Owner was easy to communicate with and really helpful. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location, poor instructions

The rooms were amazing, giant stains on one of the blankets we had to use due to the cold, pillows could use an upgrade and the instructions to find the key box were avarage at best, we had to ask a random person coming out of the building where everything was. Over all the stay was fantastic and my daughter had a blast for her birthday. Smart TVs couldn’t hurt with the price you pay each night.
