This townhome works best for guests who understand urban living and value location and bed count. The layout is efficient rather than sprawling, but it offers something uncommon in this sought-after neighborhood: five queen beds, one king, backyard, and parking.
Please turn to the photos to get enchanted by this stunning space and also to see the floor plan with layout and sleeping arrangements.

**SMALL PRINT** ✦ One bedroom is a "walk through". Please see the floor plan ✦ There is another rental on the property. The two share a wall but do not share any spaces inside and have separate entrances. ✦ You will hear noises. There is a train line a few buildings down; there are neighbors on both sides as well as above one of the bedrooms; there are city noises. You are in the heart of a big city!
**ACCESSIBILITY** There is a first floor bedroom and half bath. There are 14 steps to the bathroom with shower/tub.
**WORRY FREE CLEANING PACKAGE** At check out you will need to take care of trash overflow, dishes, exuberant messes and any food you brought. The worry free package covers any and all cleaning. Just walk out in the morning (you do need to move furniture back if you make any changes to layout). Note that this fee is additional to my regular cleaning fee you pay when you book the place. This package is best for those who want to decorate, cook a lot, are traveling as a group and would rather split the extra fee than worry about anything in the morning.
**DECORATING THE HOUSE** You are welcome to decorate the house. If you attach anything to the walls, please use paint-safe tape and remove it prior your departure. There is a $200 glitter and confetti fee.
**HOUSE RULES** The presence of more than 14 guests is unlawful. A guest is anyone at the property, staying the night, or just visiting. Minors need to have a responsible adult present. An unredacted ID will need to be provided for primary booker prior to your arrival for advance reservations and for everyone spending any time at the property for reservations made less than 30 days in advance. There is a counter installed. I utilize a private security firm. If the counter shows more than the registered number of people or if I get a noise complaint from neighbors, security will be immediately dispatched.
**GRILL** There is a gas grill at the property. I do not provide any supplies including gas. Frequently previous guests leave plenty behind and there is a gas refill station less than five minutes away.
**WILDLIFE** You will encounter wildlife while staying at the property. Here is what you can expect most commonly: Spiders and ants are common in Chicago. They get as high as 95th floor of John Hancock building. While we do our best to combat them, it is nearly impossible during high season. Bees, wasps, yellow jackets are abundant throughout the city. While we take care of any nests on the property, I cannot control them in the air and beyond my boundaries.
**PETS** I welcome pets however the following breeds of dogs are not allowed due to insurance limitations: Akita, American Staffordshire, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Wolf hybrid, or any dog that is a mix that includes one or more of the breeds listed above.
GETTING AROUND: The house is a five minute walk from the Brown Line and the Purple Line at the Sedgwick stop and an eight minute walk from Red line at Clark. It takes be about 15 min to walk to Michigan Ave and Wells street bars are a minute away. Buses and cabs are also easily accessible. It is about a 3 minute drive to get onto Lake Shore drive at LaSalle and about 8 minutes to Kennedy expressway at North Avenue.
The house is in east Old Town- best neighborhood in Chicago for both families or if you are looking to have fun. While the street itself is very quiet, tree lined and barely has cars passing by, as soon as you turn the corner, you are in the center of everything! Wells street restaurants and bars are steps away. Lincoln Park with the zoo, farm, pond, open spaces and farmers market is a 7-10 min. walk. North avenue beach is the same distance. The beaches are free to the public and have breathtaking city views. Grocery shopping is made easy, seeing as Jewel Osco is located right in the neighborhood. Nearby coffee shops include Starbucks and La Fournette. There are 103 restaurants within a 15 minute walk including some of Chicago's top restaurants including Kamehachi, Topo Gigio, The Fireplace Inn, and Woodies Flat. Bars and lounges are abundant on Wells and are all 1-2 minute walk. Shopping in Old Town is a unique experience; the majority of shops in this neighborhood are boutiques rather than well-known chain stores. Therefore, each and every store is cozy, intimate and filled with one-of-a-kind goods. The Lincoln Park Zoo is a world of wildlife in the shadow of skyscrapers. Located within a verdant park just minutes north of Chicago, the zoo has been a natural, free oasis for generations of animal lovers, who visit the zoo to hear a lion’s roar echo off nearby apartment buildings, see gorillas climb trees as the Willis Tower looms in the distance, or forget where they are as they immerse themselves in tropical rainforests, dry-thorn forests or spacious savannas. Free and open every day of the year, Lincoln Park Zoo has something for everyone. The Steppenwolf Theater, located just a few blocks away from the property presents up to 16 plays and nearly 700 performances, readings and other events every year on three stages. The Second City is another nearby theater that specializes in sketch comedy and improv, and has been delighting audiences for over 50 years. They have had many famous comedians perform at the theater over the years. They have comedy shows seven nights a week on 4 stages; the shows consist of short scenes, songs, and improvised comedy sketches. Cocktails and food are available throughout the show. Get ready to laugh! Oak street and beginning of Michigan avenue is about 15-20 minute walk.
The house is best for bachelor, bachelorette and friend groups as well as business travelers. It is not child proof.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Inna's place in Old Town Chicago! Great location in a nice, accessible neighborhood. We took advantage of restaurants and shops in the area, as well as proximity to public transportation (both the red and brown lines) to explore Chicago. The space was perfect for our group of kids and adults, with enough comfortable sleeping space and bathrooms for all! Well-appointed kitchen. Host was awesome in terms of communication and responded quickly to every question we asked. No problems to report and would happily stay here again!!
This worked perfectly for us. The beds were nice and comfy. One of the rooms was naturally cooler than the others, which was perfect for a family member who preferred that. We could hear the train but it was a soft sound that I found rather soothing.
Our stay at this property was outstanding! The host checked in regularly to ensure our experience was top notch. The location is wonderful; just a short walk to trains or dining and entertainment.Having a grill available was a nice touch, especially as we had unseasonable warm weather. Highly recommend this property for a group visit. There were a dozen of us in town for a game at Wrigley and this home was everything we needed.
While the place itself was nice, it definitely needs some TLC. Blind stems came off when trying to close them, overhead oven light/fan is busted and wouldn’t turn off, door handle in the downstairs bedroom came off a few times with very little force etc. That said, overall we enjoyed our stay and host was nice.

I wish Michael reached out with his concerns. I followed up several times during the stay but he did not respond. All issues have been addressed
Very clean and comfortable and Inna was SO helpful and responsive! Location is also outstanding, lovely neighborhood, would definitely book again for another family trip or a meet up with friends.
Plenty of space for our large group, great location and timely communication from host. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants and bars. Would stay again.
Exactly as advertised! Everything was clean and well-stocked. The patio area was very nice. We stayed over July 4th weekend and it was perfect for a small BBQ. Also a short walk to the grocery store and some great restaurants in old town.
Communication was fantastic. Location is excellent. I stayed there with my wife and kids and there was plenty of room. Would be great for a big group of friends or a bachelor party weekend.
A beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Walking distance to Wells street in old town. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host also was very helpful with everything
Enjoyed the proximity to shops, restaurants and Second City. Nice to have five beds and three bathrooms. Really helpful to have designated parking spot.
Easy walk and quick Uber to magnificent mile. Great for our family as we needed a place to crash with 5 beds but wanted to be close to all the downtown activities. Property manager was quick and responsive through VRBO messaging.
this property was well situated for getting to and from downtown. IT is in an area being gentrified and has walking access to Lincoln park and Zoo as well as nice dinning (Orso's I recommend and Kanela for breakfast)
Perfect Location - Perfect Neighborhood! Close to everything including downtown. Great place for a family or a group of friends as was the case for our trip. Good communication and understanding hosts. Thank you.

I live around the corner from this house so not only I am nearby if you need help but also think it is the best area in the city.
Why they chose this property
I love Old Town. This is where my family and I have lived for the last 15 years. I love that you can walk anywhere- downtown to the shops and restaurants, to the beach, park and the zoo or even take a walk around the streets with unique houses. My favorite activity in the summer is people watching sitting outside at one of the Wells street cafes
