We stayed at Nikos' house for a week at the end of June, and it was the perfect holiday we were after. The house is located far from crowds but still close enough to be able to get to restaurants and shops within 10min. The view over the sea is priceless and you'll want to stay at that terrace forever. I recommend this place to anyone seeking a quieter holiday in Halkidiki.

About the host
Hosted by Nikos Tsavdaroglou
Born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece, educated and previously employed in the UK. I repatriated to apply my knowledge and experience towards improving my country and have been an active member of the local business community. I am into life-long learning, travelling, good food, quality music and sensitive when it comes to ecological and animal welfare issues. I am committed in providing a high quality of service in everything I am engaged in and believe in setting win-win situations. I have been going for holidays in Halkidiki ever since my childhood and firmly believe it is one of the nicest parts of Greece as few places provide such a large variety of things to do and sites to see.
Why they chose this property
Upon my return to Greece I started looking for a summer house to make my personal retreat; a nice, relaxing place by the sea where I could detach myself from the demanding nature of everyday life, think more clearly and charge my batteries up. The candidate properties were many but none spoke to my soul like this one. People say that when it comes to properties, you immediately know when that click is made and that is what happened in my case. You could say that the property chose me or that it was love at first sight. It is hard to describe but I hope that the readers will understand. Ever since I bought it, it has been my most prized asset.
What makes this property unique
It is almost impossible to prioritize the unique benefits of this property so I will just make an account of the most important ones to me: the serenity, the property's elevated position which offers a unique 360 degrees view of the sea and the hills behind, the large interior spaces, the peacefulness and isolation, the proximity to the sea, the crystal clear waters teeming with fish, the many trees inside the property and the nearby forests where some wildlife can still be found, the friendliness of locals and a moonlight that will take your breath away are all part of the magic. More recently it seems that civilisation moved a step closer when a 5-star resort with a marina was built closeby but I was glad to discover that all of their activities are conducted with the utmost respect for the neighbourhood and the wider environment so I can say that everyone in the area got the best of this investment and it is a good example of progress and nature working well together.
