It's surrounded by beautiful beaches and has a fantastic range of bars, restaurants, and shopping options. Plus, it's perfectly situated for exploring the historical sites in the area.

Parking is free ,off street and is directly outside the Lodge entrance The Gardens are available for guests to enjoy, sit and relax.

Just a 5 minute walk to Malahide Castle and a pleasant 20 minute walk to Malahide Village,

For those who enjoy walking or Hiking the surrounding area offers beach walks in Malahide and Portmarnock,

Close enough to Dublin to enjoy it, but far enough away to be away

The Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. While some may not appreciate the spiral staircase to get to the upsatirs bedroom, it reminded me of a mountain cottage with a bit nostalgia.

The hosts were wonderful. It is very clean and very cute. It was close to the city center of Malahide and you can take a train into Dublin (which I highly recommend for about 10 euro per person.). I would most definitely would stay here again and I will recommend to friends and family.

Great stay in Malahide!

Our group of 3 loved our 2 night stay at Bodenlodge! The double bed and rollaway were comfortable and the space was so well appointed with lots of nice touches. We didn't have the chance to use the outdoor space but would have loved to! Location was great, easy and pleasant walking distance to the castle and village. We used the train and taxis to get around as we didn't have a car, and this worked great. Would absolutely stay again!

This was our final stop on our journey through Ireland and it was a wonderful way to close out our adventure. Shay was an excellent host, meeting us upon arrival and offering some excellent tips for Malahide and the surrounding areas. The cottage was exquisite, with a comfy and friendly vibe. The walk into town was amazing, as it led you along a path through the Malahide Castle property and surrounding park. Stunning! The proximity to other locations such as Howth, the Cliff Walk and downtown Dublin were quickly accessed by car. All in all, the Lodge at Bodenlodge was a lovely way to close out our trip…a 10/10. We would absolutely recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in at Bodenlodge! Everything was very nice and the property is beautiful & peaceful. It was easy to go into Dublin but also nice to get away from the city, too. The town of Malahide is lovely and an easy walk. We particularly enjoyed the castle grounds. Shay was a perfect host and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed everything about our stay from proximity to airport, lovely cottage setting at a home with beautiful gardens, safe and attractive neighborhood, nearby lovely village on the waterfront with good restaurants, a castle with extensive grounds etc. and also train service close by to visit Dublin. We could not have asked for a better place to initiate our very first time In Ireland/Dublin. The host was very welcoming and helpful with information for all our needs. This place is so quaint, clean, cozy, and close to the castle. It's an easy 10 min walk to town or the taxi home from the pub is 8 eu. This little cottage is super comfy! Nice decor, FANTASTIC BED!!! It was in a good location, a short walk or drive from Malahide Castle. The area is beautiful and the property is impeccable. It got a little chilly as they’ve had abnormally low temps. I loved having access to local tv as well as Netflix. Shay was there when we arrived and showed us all the particulars. It’s really the perfect size!!! Good WiFi was also helpful. Thanks again, it was the perfect getaway. Next trip I’ll plan a few more days in that area.
