This was our 4th time staying at Anderson Creek Inn and it was the best one. The upgrades with check in, bedding, linens and amenities made the difference. Roxanne of housekeeping and the golf club staff were very helpful and went out of their to make sure our stay was a good one. Thanks for the southern hospitality!

NOT WORTH IT

When checking in I was told that they no longer allow pets, I have 2 dogs and when I booked the condo they were allowed and I paid a pet deposit. After 30 minutes of back and forth phone calls to the manager and checking when I booked (which was before they changes the pet policy) they said we could stay. But we couldn't walk the dogs in hallway that lead to outside we had to use our back door and walk up a sandy path and between some brushes to get to our car. At night we had to use a flash light because it was pitch dark. The light bulbs were so dim we had to ask for them to be changed out so we could read, the fan blades had been cleaned since they opened the place. The kitchen had the bare minimum, 4 knives, 4 forks 3 spoons very limited pans (we were there for 3 weeks). Carpet was throughout the entire place even in the kitchen EWWW. The towels TOTALLY GROSS! Looked like they were used to clean cars or something. The sheets had seen better days, thin and pilling we felt like we were sleeping in the sand. We didn't get the free breakfast due to covid, the pool wasn't open nor heated. They gave us no discount for our long stay or for amenities not being provided. We will NEVER stay here again!

We greatly appreciate your comments about the aspects of our property that were in need of improvement and updating. It is our pleasure to announce that we have made many upgrades to our property. We have since repainted all rooms, replaced the towels, bedding, and pillows. We have also updated fixtures and artwork. More lighting has been added to the exterior of the building. Unfortunately, due to COVID, our restaurant and pool were closed. These were circumstances beyond our control. We are continually striving to improve and update our property. We hope you will reconsider and stay with us again when you are in the area."

The property was exactly as presented on the VRBO website. Plenty of room for 2 plus our French Bulldog. We overlooked the 18th green and gave you plenty of room to walk the property. I would have given this property 5 stars except for the fact that the seating in the living room area was a little outdated. With an update of that it would have been a 5+ facility. I would recommend to anyone that likes to play golf and have friends in the area. Great place to stay either a few days up to a few months.
