Quiet Lakeside log cabin with teaching/studio space available for retreats.
This classic northwoods log cabin is perfect for quiet honeymoons, family vacations, girls weekends, or hunting/fishing/snowmobiling getaways.
Nestled on 6 wooded acres overlooking beautiful Connors Lake, Minnesota Kind Lodge offers a rare peace that you won’t find on the busier lakes, while still providing world class fishing & wildlife spotting.
Connors lake is a private lake with no public access. You often have the entire lake to yourself -with the exception of resident loons and herons. We have a fishing boat, a paddle boat, a double kayak, and multiple paddle boards available, but the most popular spot on the lake is the shallows in front of the dock just 100 level feet from the cabin door. Many great meals have been caught dropping a line off of the dock.
The cabin has all of the amenities you need to sleep 10-13 comfortably, with a giant sleeping loft and pull out couch available, but the space is intimate enough to use as a private romantic escape for couples and honeymooners. A wood fireplace keeps the great room cozy on winter nights, and the also offers central heating and central air conditioning to keep the everyone comfortable year round. A fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs sits in a clearing just off of the water and a grill is on hand for cooking outside. Inside there is everything you need to cook 4 star meals- a gas stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker etc. We provide stainless steel pots and pans and all the cooking tools and serving dishes you need. The thick pine tables were designed and built especially for the space. Downstairs there is a bar, and ice maker for entertaining.
Host your holiday get together at Minnesota Kind Lodge and leave your stress at home.
Have you ever wanted to host a retreat? Walk a short level path through the woods to a second space that is also available to rent. This studio space is perfect for teaching classes (tables and chairs available upon request) writing retreats, church retreats, yoga, dance, art classes etc. The studio space has central air and heat, and beautiful views of the surrounding birch, pine, and tamarack woods.

Great place to stay. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. The use of the boats and paddle boards was great. Would definitely stay here again
This was our second time staying here and this property did not disappoint. We came primarily to go ATV'ing on the back country trails, but enjoy the accommodations at this cabin and ease to get there, and communication.
Fantastic location on the lake. Great working with the owner as well. Loved all the water craft available to use! Kids had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again!
Just perfect! Great location, secluded yet close to town. All the “Up north” cabin feels! Enough room for a ton of people, but cozy enough for 2. We will definitely look to stay again
Wonderful cabin on a quiet lake. Plenty of room for everyone. No hustle and bustle of a resort so the kids were able to bond more this week. The swimming area was nice and fishing was plentiful!
This is a wonderful cabin with brautiful views of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was easy to find.
I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking in the area.
We came back to this cabin for our second time and again it was perfectly cozy with the warm fire. It had all the amenities needed. The property manager had GREAT communication and was able to help us with all of our needs in a timely manner. We are excited to come visit again in the future!
Great little vacation, everything you need to have a great weekend, board games, lake toys and a fire pit, we had 11 people there and we had filled out the space but you will have very little privacy as there is only one true bedroom but it was actually pretty great, Kept everyone together instead of people just hiding with there phones. The check in and check out were simple and great. The beach had a little spot were it was sandy, but most of lake was really weedy until you got out towards the middle, little bit of a bummer but they did provide a boat and paddle boards so we still got plenty of swimming in. It really was great and we can’t wait to go back
This was our 2nd stay and this is one of our absolute favorite rentals! This is the perfect location to relax and enjoy a quiet lake while still being minutes away from a grocery store! Our pups got to swim almost every day and there were plenty of paddleboards for the humans as well. The cabin sleeps so many people without feeling cramped but it also feels cozy with just two. You can sit on the dock and watch the fish, the water is crystal clear! There really isn't anything bad to say about this location.
We had so much fun fishing off the dock and using the kayak and paddle boards. We caught so many fish. The cabin had all the essential items you would need. Can’t wait to go back.
The log cabin was exactly what we expected and planned for. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had plenty of space for the six of us. The fishing from the dock was exceptionally fun.
We plan to stay here again sometime in the future.
A wonderful winter get away. The cabin was cozy and had many thoughtful touches and decor. It felt remote and we enjoyed walking in the surrounding area. The cabin had everything we needed. We will happily return.
Super cool log cabin, fun water toys for the kids and adults. Pulled in a few fish too. Nice quiet area. Loved it!

Why they chose this property
We love this property because we have always brought our kids fishing in this area. Nothing beats watching a happy kid pulling in bluegills off the dock. We particularly love that Connors Lake is private, and away from the hustle of the busy lower lakes, but just 3 minutes from the pizza parlor and ice cream at Park Recreation in town.
What makes this property unique
Sitting on the dock, walking the trails, or sitting around the fire, this property exudes peace. I sleep better here than anywhere else. I love to paddle out onto the lake as the sun begins to set. I love the call of the loon and the snaps you hear when the fish feed off of the lily pads near the peninsula. I love looking up from my hammock and seeing deer make their way across the wooded trail, and I love to wake up and see the mist rising off of the water. This is a singular place.
