Historic 1930's home located in Romantic Eureka Springs.
The Great Spirit Hideaway is a cozy, quaint and warm 2nd floor apartment style studio with a southwestern Native American style of decor located in the Historic District of Eureka Springs. Bistro style kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and complimentary coffee and assortment of snacks. Bathroom with shower, fresh towels and free toiletries every day. Large Bedroom with Luxurious King size mattress, one artsy bedside table, wall mounted flat screen TV with HBO ,Cinemax, Starz and Showtime along with free WIFI.

We are located only 2 miles from downtown Eureka where you will find great food , music and unique shops. While staying at The Great Spirit Hideaway, we have a wonderful park-like side yard with seating to watch Eureka's many car show/parades that pass directly in front of your view. We are steps away from The Inn of the Ozarks, Myrtie Mae's restaurant and Bubba's BBQ. You will be across the street from Eureka's new community center( opening soon) and the trolley stops just steps away from your front door.

We have free on site parking large enough for trucks and trailers if you are towing you antique vehicle to Eureka for one of our many car shows.

We do allow pets under 15 pounds with a $10 per pet, per night fee.
Smoking is anywhere outside.

Walking distance to downtown Eureka. Fun decor. Be careful if you are tall, might hit your head on the bathroom light. But really liked the place.

Fun little hideaway. You can see the effort made to make it coordinate the theme. Everything was clean and organized. Wonderful location. When it stopped raining, it was fun to sit of the porch and watch wveryone go by.

We loved this cute hideaway, close to Eureka Springs’ convention center. We locked ourselves out of the property late one evening and the owners drove into town with keys to unlock it. We appreciated their extra effort. We will book this place again.

Everything was great. Reason for 4 star overall review was the issue with the a/c (2 window units) struggling to keep place cool enough. Weather was mild 70-80 degrees during day and cool 50-60 degrees at night.

Fun place to stay

We had a great time at our stay here. The apartment was wonderful and cozy. They provided lots of information on local attractions and businesses. Even though it is on the main road, it was very quiet and secluded. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Originally from Arkansas ( southern that is) , I grew up in Texarkana . Being a 60's flower child drew me to Eureka Springs. I fell in love with the town the first time I came here. I am a recycled clothing designer here in town and a lover of nature and all animals. We are currently in the process of preparing to open our own gift shop right here on the property where the lodging is. It will be called Gypsy Leather and Suede.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits of staying at The Great Spirit Hideaway are many. You are in walking distance to downtown Historic Eureka Springs . We are surrounded by some very special places to dine like Bubbas Barbecue which is right across the street. If you prefer great fried chicken check out Myrtie Maes at the Best Western which is also in walking distance. You will always have a front row seat to all the numerous car parades that go by on the historic 62 highway.
