Newly built flat with fully fitted kitchen (cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave).

Lounge area with sofa, dining table, television with Netflix.

Double bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Further bedroom (accessed from main bedroom via a loft staircase) with double bed.

WiFi throughout.

The flat is attached to my home so if there are any problems I’m a door knock away.

Guest access

The flat is accessed through the front porch where there is the front door to my property and a side door leading to your property. Keys will be secured for you in a keycode safe so you can collect them yourself easily.

Other things to note

The flat is non smoking but you are welcome to smoke on the drive or on the street outside the property.

The property is in walking distance of the beautiful Beddington Park which includes an adventure playground, ponds and a lake where you can feed the ducks and swans, a cafe, exercise equipment and a bbq area.

Carshalton is a few bus stops away and has a traditional tea house and some lovely pubs/restaurants.

Croydon is 20 minutes away and has two shopping centres as well as many restaurants. The famous Box Park food court is directly next to East Croydon Station. Box Park hosts regular music events.

Sutton is 20 minutes away and has two shopping centres and many restaurants.

Valley Retail Park is a 15 minute bus journey away and has a cinema, restaurants and shops.

Getting around

Local station Waddon is a 5 minute walk away. From Waddon the fast train to London Bridge takes 23 minutes and the fast train to London Victoria (walking distance to Buckingham Palace) takes 38 minutes.

Waddon Marsh Tram Stop is a 10 minute walk away from where you can reach Wimbledon in 23 minutes.

Buses to Croydon (15 minutes) and Sutton (20 minutes) are every 5/10 minutes from outside the property. 25 minutes by bus to East Croydon Station which has a fast train to Gatwick Airport.

There is a Heathrow express bus route from local area Carshalton which means you can reach Heathrow Airport in 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Unfortunately you cannot park on the drive or outside the house but parking spaces are easily found on the side roads with are seconds away.

Place is close to train station and restaurants. Has a private entrance. I gave 3 stars because the place got really warm out of nowhere in middle of the night. We checked all heating systems were off. Our baby couldn’t sleep with the heat. Tried to open the window, but the road noise was too much to fall asleep. It’s on a busy road and a lots of cars with sirens drive by at night.

Entspricht den Angaben. Vermieter wohnen im Haus, aber nur kurz gesehen. Bahnhof mit Verbindung in die City fußläufig, von daher für uns ideal. Kochen für die Familie mangels sinnvoller Töpfe kaum möglich.

Owners live onsite and Rachel was very friendly; no code for key box upon arrival : Rachel answered door and there was actually no key in the lock box either. Since owner was home, it worked out ok. Newly remodeled is a bit outdated as walls are scuffed, carpet is worn and the dust levels in the bedroom loft were high. Needs a deep clean rather than a quick housekeeping flip. Bathroom was clean and nice, The sofa on main floor stinks like dogs or dust or something…the purple blanket can’t cover that. It is gross and uncomfortable. Loud traffic noises 24/7__ but also very accessible public transport. Dishes are mismatched and it would be nice to have Nescafé or tea or something offered. Instructions on site for using hot water and washing would save owners from guests needing to bother them for the basics. For the price, owners could do small things like dishes that match and it would seem less weary. Rachel was very nice and helpful but I would not stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay.
Enjoyed staying there. We were able to walk to the train station to go to London. We liked have a washer/dryer. It meet our needs. They had made a recommendation for a fish and chip that we went to. The fish and chips were really good and servings were huge. It did take us a few minutes to figure out thw hot water foe the shower.
