This was a great property for our family of 4. Everyone had space, the pool was great and we loved having the canal right out back!

4/10 Poor

Great location! Updates, pest control and cleaning needed.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Beautiful view but this house is loaded with ghost ants and palmetto bugs - the big ones. The ghost ants invaded our take out dinner within minutes of putting it on the dining table. We had to throw the food away. The rental office did send pest control out which helped for a day or 2 but I ended up purchasing Terro ant traps to keep the ghost ants under control and the rental agency never followed up to see if the ant issue was resolved or offered to at least cover the cost of our dinner. Areas of the house need repair and updating. The house needs a good cleaning. There was dust in the vents, on the fans, on top of the kitchen cabinets and in other places. The master bath has lots of mold stains. It was quite an expensive stay for the condition of the house. There are much nicer rentals on Marco for the price. I have pictures of all the above. I’m disappointed.
Response from VrboOwner on 10 October 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Patricia. Our agency promptly contacted Truly Nolen Pest Control, an industry leader, to assess and treat the property. The home is also treated quarterly. Florida's tropical climate—with its high humidity, heavy annual rainfall, and warm temperatures—provides an ideal environment for pests, so it is not possible to eliminate them entirely. The property owner has since renovated the primary bathroom shower, and the property is professionally cleaned between guests. This property has an average rating of 4.8 stars across more than 50 reviews and is appreciated by many guests. Thank you again for your feedback. We wish you all the best.

5 night stay with kids

Had a great stay at this house. 10 min walk to the beach. Located on a quiet canal. Great for the kids: fishing, not too close to other houses, great pool. Would stay again

Xmas in Paradise

We spent a week on Marco Island, FL from Dec 16-23, 2023. Great 4-bedroom house with a heated pool, plenty of space, close to the beach, wonderful outdoor area out by the pool... we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

November 2022 Stay

We had a great time at this house. It had just about everything we needed. Loved the pool and the 12 minute walk to the beach. We were happy to find beach toys, stroller and pool toys for the kids. The house was big enough for my wife and I, our daughter and husband and 4 granddaughters. We are coming back next year.

Overall, an excellent home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Marco Island. The back porch was our favorite spot. There is a grill, a place to tan, a pool, and a place to eat. The place to eat outside has a ceiling and a fan, which makes it a great place to still eat outside even if it is raining. We even saw a manatee and a dolphin swimming in the water while relaxing on the back porch! There were some minor issues. The TV service was cut off when we got there but the rental company was very professional about it. It eventually got turned back on after a three days (we were both at the mercy of Comcast which is why it took so long). Regardless, the rental company agreed to give us a discount for the inconvenience. The house was generally in excellent condition. The pool was amazing, and everything was nice and clean. It is also in a very quiet area. When we went to sleep, it was pitch black and silent in all the bedrooms. Marco Island is a very quiet area at night. If you want night life, go to Miami. This house could use some upgrades though. The beds in two of the rooms were very uncomfortable. All of the pillows for the beds were also very cheap and uncomfortable. Also, the ice maker on the refrigerator didn't work (it made ice, you just couldn't use the door to get the ice). There was also a small issue getting the microwave to work. These are all very minor issues though. In the end, this house is a great value and we truly enjoyed our time staying at it. There is room for minor improvements but overall it was a great house at a great value. The back porch area is FANTASTIC!

Very no frills home, but within walking distance to the beach and we enjoyed being in the pool and fishing in the back yard! We had a couple small issues and the management company responded to both within a couple of hours.

Nice place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Except for a couple maintenance issues which were taken care of immediately we enjoyed our 2 week stay at 921 Tulip Ct. The property could use a new set of pots and pans,4 slice toaster, electric griddle and a crockpot. The kitchen could have been much cleaner upon arrival.

Anniversary on Marco Island

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great having a cool swimming pool to dip in after a day at the beach! We also enjoyed fishing in the canal! We actually caught 10 fish! The house was a pretty long walk to the beach. We were going to ride bikes, but lock was missing! The cable was there, but the lock was not! Had one large palmetto bug appear in the bathroom which grossed us out! Other than that we enjoyed our stay and definitely would rent a house again, but would choose one closer to the beach!
