You can’t stay any closer to the beach than this 1,100 square foot, 12th floor beachfront condo. It sleeps six, with one king bed, one queen, a sleeper sofa and two bathrooms.

If you want to discover Marco Island’s favorite attractions, you don’t have to read vacation sites. You just have to sit on your balcony and look out at the warm white sands, where you can search for colorful shells while the kids go skimboarding, or you can find a secluded spot to sit and watch dolphins play in the surf and pelicans swoop down in search of fish.

The turquoise ocean, sparkling in the sun, is the ideal place to snorkel for an up-close view of marine life, or to take a parasailing cruise or charter a fishing a boat. Beside the ocean, warm lagoons are surrounded by mangroves. Walk alongside them until you reach the shell hunter’s paradise of Sand Dollar Island.

No list of Marco Island attractions is complete without the spectacular sunsets of Tigertail Beach, and there’s no better vantage point than the beach, where you can sip an ice cold cocktail and watch the setting sun paint the sky orange.

The South Seas offers an equally long list of attractions. Take a swim in the heated pool then enjoy a picnic lunch beneath the shade of a tiki umbrella. Go for a morning walk along garden paths that wind through hedges and hibiscus bushes, taking you to the tennis courts, shuffleboard and bocce ball beside Clam Bay. Lovely place

The condo was clean and updated. The kitchen was well supplied and there were plenty of beach towels and chairs and even a nice cooler with wheels. A wagon would be helpful for the long walks to the beach.

We enjoyed the condo. The only problem we had was it was hard to figure out switches for light/fans. The rules at the pool were a little excessive but I know that is not the fault of the owners.

The condo was well stocked. An abundance of towels and sheets. A beach cart would be helpful because of long walk to beach. Needs directions for tv in living room. Could not get live tv at all.

The downside was the parking was not great. We were not informed that the parking garage for tower 4 was closed. It should be included with the rental listing, not lost in the pages of the info. It was a busy week so finding a spot near the building was almost non-existant. There were a few handicapped spaces available, but then people started using them ( no stickers) people parking in front of the building which was also not allowed, but was done anyway. The KEY system is needed but ridiculous. On the plus side--the towers and properties are very well maintained, due to the strict rules. I would return, but would check on parking and see if they have streamlined the entering and exiting process.

Winter get away

Visited in late January, the condo was very clean. Plenty of linens, modern kitchen. Close to great restaurants. Our favorites were Marco Prime And da Vinci’s. The pool was heated and very warm. It was in the low 70 s outside, so that was very nice. The tub was draining a little slow. Management very responsive, fixed that afternoon.

Very nice condo, great view, clean, close to everything. Good experience with condo management. Long walk to ocean so if you have physical limitations thick twice. Beautiful, heated pool; inside garage parking.

The condo was extremely nice. The pool was disappointing due to all the rules. The pool lady could have been a little nicer. Not a family friendly pool. The laundry room was down all week due to a flood but that’s no big deal to me. The island is beautiful.

Our condo was great. The pool was nice and warm. Weather was great. We didn’t think much of all the masking and the keys and codes to get in doors and guard at the gate. Did not realize it was that way when we booked.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The high point of this condo was the beautiful view of the beach and the grounds were very well maintained. The balcony that went the entire length of the condo was also a definite plus!The areas we were not as satisfied with was the condition of the condo. It was quite apparent that it was not swept prior to our arrival. They had just mopped as the floor was still damp, but there was visible dirt and dust on the floor, baseboards and furniture. If I were the owner, I would definitely be looking for a new cleaning service. The property looked as if it was decorated and furnished very randomly. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning. Be prepared for LOTS of rules. The pool security lady takes her job VERY serious and definitely looks out for the owners who live there. No music, food, drinks by the pool and you can't even throw a small ball while in the water. Lots of rules in the building, too. Can't shake towels over the balcony, can't throw trash down the chute past 9PM etc....All things to consider if renting for your family.

Everything we were needing!!

Loved our stay at 1209!!!! Clean, full kitchen, plenty of blankets, sheets, towels, and beautiful view! The only thing we would look into next time is getting a small wagon as walk to beach is about a half a mile (and we have 3 kids under 5) but other than that all the beach amenities and pool was exactly what we were looking for. We will back!

Great and not so great!

The condo: The unit is located on the beach with great views and you can look down over the balcony and see your family swimming in the pool. (The pool lady is not friendly and very bossy!) Kitchen and bathrooms are nicely remodeled. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment needed to cook, make coffee, etc. but no cleaning supplies like windex, etc. We can take care of the place, but not going to go buy a whole pile of cleaning supplies for a 10 day vacation. The balcony has several broken tiles laying loose in broken pieces that they balanced a table over so no one would step on them. You would certainly cut your feet and is very unsafe for kids. The living room and kitchen furniture is very dated and uncomfortable. A toy rolled under the couch and we lifted it to retrieve it and two years of dust and goldfish crackers were stored under there. Blech! The cable box is perched on top of several boxes of games sitting on top of a bar stool. Don't plan on playing the games as the cable box would then dangle from the tv. TV clickers didn't work properly so no way to watch local or cable channels. The cushions are way too big for the kitchen benches so they don't stay on. Maybe none of this matters if you spend all your time outside, but we had a cold snap of weather that forced us indoors for a few days. Overall the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are very nice and comfortable. Everything else, including the balcony, needs an overhaul. The Mgmt Co: The staff is friendly and do appear as though they want to make your stay pleasant. However, I don't want to download an app to my phone for a 10 day stay. But apparently all the instructions are on the app. Didn't realize the keys couldn't be picked up in the building. That's on me I guess. But when finally figuring out what and where....we arrived in the unit and it hadn't been cleaned. Linens piled in the tub, dirty toilets, beds unmade, sand on the floor, crumbs on the kitchen table. Tried calling the number on the keys, but no one answers. Anytime we called you had to leave a message and they call you back (during normal hours.) You have to sit around and wait for a response. According to the management company the unit had been empty for two weeks and was listed as clean after the last occupants. They said that maybe the owner used it without telling them and so it was never cleaned. Waited three more hours to get in, but the cleaning crew did a good job!

We loved waking up to the view of the water from the master and enjoyed coffee on the large balcony. Extremely clean condo and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Sleeper sofa was not your traditional pullout. It had a trundle like pullout which was small but it worked for our 8 year old just fine and our 14 year old slept on the sofa. The complex took Covid seriously and required masks in all common indoor areas. Elevators worked with literally no wait time. Walk to the water was about 10 minutes...good exercise. Kids enjoyed the heated pool. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

An excellent time, wonderful newly decorated condo, beautiful view and more great memories. Because it was new there was a slight problem with the cable hook up. (Boxes need updated) It happens. The property manager (Andrew) went above and beyond to make sure things were fixed with as little to no bother to us. THANKS ANDREW! This condo has most everything you could need, and all brand new. One thing that was not there that might come in handy for those who pack up and spend the day at the beach is a beach cart. Not important but makes it easier. Also a foldable towel rack for beach/pool towels and suits. Other than that.... it’s there. Enjoy! Life’s short - make memories!
