The best thing I loved about this place was the location (just 3 mins from Daylesford town) :) and the second best was the spa. It is just as lovely as in the pictures and has amazing view from the backyard.
Great location and layout of the property, just a needs a little TLC - perfect for couples
Great location and the views are amazing! I could have sat at the window all day watching the birdlife (we even saw an eagle on our first afternoon). It had everything you needed, it does just need a little TLC but from a cleanliness level it was great. The spa was warm and we really enjoyed relaxing in it. The layout is perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed our stay.
The property itself was definitely amazing, and the area was fantastic. Nice and private but close to the main drag of Daylesford. The only thing I would critique would be the overall state of the house, just some TLC regarding paint and re staining the decks.
Thank you so much to our host Chelsea. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The accommodation was brilliant, just what we like, perfect for the two of us. We will be coming back to stay again very soon thank you. :)
A great getaway for two. The place is a bit of a walk into the main road which was only a small downside as the weather was bad, however would not be a problem otherwise. The property is beautiful, the spa was a plus and we had a lovely time.
Beautifully situated a couple of minutes' drive away from Daylesford town where there is an adbundance of excellent quality restaurants—The Royal was a favourite as others were close during the Christmas period. My partner and I spent a day at the Hepburn Springs Spa which is only 10 minutes away. Excellent, relaxing country getaway which isn't too far from Melbourne CBD.

Nice stay, lovely area and views.
Nicely layed out apartment, with plenty of privacy whilst still obtaining a beautiful view! Property lacked maintenance and cleaning. It was nice, but luxury wouldn't be a word I would use to describe this stay.
Loved the property, we went to Victorian quad bike riding, Sunday market, farmers arms etc this us the perfect spot located close to everything but still far enough for peace and total tranquility!
The spa, shower, lazy chairs, views and overall ambience was worth every penny!
Not sure what anyone would leave a bad review, we LOVED this property!! Will be back again 🌟
We had the best time staying here, the house is fantastic with such a wonderful view, i sat in front of the massive glass for hours at a time, just soaking in the view. The property manager was quick to respond to questions. Spa was fun. House was clean. Only thing i could say is that the property probably needs a bit of love on the outside.
A wonderful retreat with no option but to relax and unwind. A must for couples wishing to get away from it all and enjoy time together. Comfort and elegance rolled into one.
The views and property were stunning, there were native animals in our back field every day and night... An echidna, wallaby and brilliant bird life! It was dreamy and so relaxing. The hot tub was beyond romantic and the ambience at night was perfect.

Looks can be deceiving
Unfortunately this property didn’t live up to the beautiful photos used to advertise it. Property was very dirty inside and out- thick layers of dust, dirty surfaces, dead flies, dead spider and a stale smell greeted us… no wifi, dismal amenities, multiple light globes not working, a dinosaur “sound system” not compatible with a smartphone .. just to name a few things.
Couldn’t even muster 2 wine glasses!
I contacted the property manager for some compensation, showing multiple photos but apparently I wasn’t entitled to any compensation because I didn’t complain within 24 hours. I wanted to sort this out quietly and offline, but am now forced to share this feedback publicly. For the $460+ per night I paid, this was by far the most underwhelming vacation experience of my life.
Beautiful place to stay for couples, it's modern, plenty of space, affordable and close to town. We will be back again. Thank you so much for the stay, we had a wonderful time.
The place exceeded expectations! The view was stunning and the place was spacious and clean. Would love to visit again!

Really nice but not 5 star
We had a great stay at 'Interlude' for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The house was very clean and had everything you need for a weekend away. The location was nice (away from the busy town) with beautiful views. I think it has some AMAZING potential but lacked a few things that could make it truly a 5 star experience. Firstly, I think the furnishings, kitchen facilities & bathroom/kitchen provisions (IE: Soap, Shampoo/Milk, Tea ETC) could have been a lot better given the price paid per night. There are some lovely local makers and produce in the area that could be used to bring 'Interlude' to the next level. The property needs some maintenance as well (IE: Lifted tile in bathroom, broken roller blind etc.) which really shouldn't be there, again, given the price.
Lovely property with great views overlooking a reserve. This was originally built as luxury accommodation however for the price we paid it lacks basic amenities like wifi, dishwasher that can be expected even from budget accomodations! Also music system is a museum piece and does not have means to connect modern devices and fireplace didn’t work. Jacuzzi was a nice touch.
Had a lovely experience with this location, the property itself had a lovely view and main lounge area great for relaxing. Do recommend for others to relax here

Peaceful and relaxing
Property has lovely views and very relaxing.
House could do with a thorough clean. Bbq wasn’t useable, windows and doors covered with spiderweb and dead bugs. Spa cover looks old and water didn’t look clean.
For a newish place it’s looking like it needs more TLC
The property is only a few minutes drive from the main street but the location is so peaceful and secluded! The views are incredible and the hot tub is perfect for any weather. The property is stocked with everything you could need during your stay. Such a beautiful place and will hopefully be back! Thank you!
