SoulShine Inn - Pets welcome-Fully fenced backyard-Relaxed cancelation <br>

Located in the heart of Harbor Country, Union Pier, Lakeside, Sawyer, Harbert, Bridgeman, Three Oaks, and Michigan City, Indiana.
Near vineyards, wineries, breweries, and distilleries. New Buffalo beach and boat ramp, other beaches, including Dunes State parks and the National Lake Shore Park are all near.
SoulShine Inn is a modest two bedroom Inn with a queen size bed in each. Vaulted ceiling,full kitchen and patio with a grill, fully fenced back yard and fire pit . Wireless internet and cable TV. No smoking please.

Over twenty restaurants and six antique shops within ten minutes. Five minutes to New Buffalo Beach and boat ramp. Kayak or paddle board up the Galien River. Boat, Waverunner rentals are available on Lake Michigan. Golfing, casinos, and hiking, all within a 10 minute drive. An easy walk to Davids Deli, unique shops, grocery, library, and pharmacy, bike and beach rental. Ample free parking. We may have room for boat parking as well.
Amtrak from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland.

Both bedrooms are on the main level. There are five steps up to the front door. The loft is available with a queen size inflatable mattress. There is an attached latter to access the loft. It is a bit steep. Pictures are included above.

Interaction with Guests

We have a keypad to allow arrival flexibility .You can contact us via text or email. We live a few doors down the street if you are in need of immediate help.

The Neighborhood

Our home is a mile from the beach. A ten minute walk will get you to the marina or to town.

Great little place!

Our stay at soulshine inn was lovely. The only regret is that it was too chilly to enjoy the cute backyard space. Very clean and comfortable.

Home away from home

Our family loves coming to the Soulshine Inn! Such a lovely cottage to stay in that is in a great location to Lake Michigan and other nearby cities. The owners are great to work with and make sure that your stay is stress-free and relaxing.

Wonderful clean little cottage!

Very pet friendly. Great fenced in back yard for fur babies and just relaxing! Very clean and comfortable. Our 2nd visit here.

Great house in a great location!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Yhe house was as advertised, clean, and had everything we needed during our stay. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and the close proximity to both Warren Dunes and Indiana Dunes. We enjoyed the ability to easily walk to many restaurants in New Buffalo, especially Beer Church Brewing. Thank you Debra, we hope to be back soon!

The home is lovely and welcoming. It’s in a perfect location close to restaurants, shops, and beach.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing 3 day getaway from Chicago and couldn’t have been happier. The accommodations were clean, charming and in the perfect location. We wanted to be close to the lakefront. We would highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone who is interested in finding a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. The owners are very nice and respond within a timely manner to any questions.

Comfortable house and awesome backyard

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at the Soulshine Inn. Communication with the host was great. The house is adorably decorated with pictures of dogs. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is so quiet. The kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck and patio. It was an easy walk to New Buffalo's main street, Oinks ice cream and Just Jackie's cafe. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed this house immensely.

The home is very cute and cozy. I love the size of the home and the beautiful outside area.

Matthew and Debra were so flexible and so kind. I would recommend Soulshine Inn! It's close enough to walk to everything and far enough to get some quiet. When we arrived there was a smores stuff waiting for us. We are a family of five. It fit perfect!! Don't hesitate this place is a gem.

We were in town to attend wedding events- we had our 2 dogs with us. Our dogs are 11 years old and well behaved. They welcomed us and have a lovely fenced in back yard in a lovely neighborhood. It was so perfect. The cottage is very nicely appointed- the backyard was inviting, Thank you so much!!

Great stay in New Buffalo

Our family of 3 + 2 dogs all had a wonderful stay at the SoulShine Inn! The property is so convenient to nearby restaurants and attractions. The house is SO well appointed with everything you need and then some! The Inn has a great, updated feel and is super comfortable. The outdoor setting feels very private and we loved making s'mores in the outdoor fireplace (which is very cool) - and firewood and s'mores ingredients were all provided!!. Debra is the best host you could ask for! She was very prompt responding to the questions we had and we really appreciated the friendly and clear communications throughout the entire booking process and stay. Top notch all around - Thanks!

Can't wait to return!

Two couples and our dogs had a fantastic stay! Very clean, nice atmosphere, cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the special touches like the aromatherapy diffuser with essential oils, Keurig coffee, and microwave popcorn. Pillows and bedding were very nice. Tons of towels provided. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and the firepit at night! Our dogs loved the fenced yard. Tons of parking. Close to everything! The owners were awesome - very friendly and welcoming. Second time staying here and it’s been a wonderful experience both times. Super cute and clean! Best part is the home is dog friendly! Backyard is perfect for pups and people to hang out and enjoy! Excellent location, easy to walk to anything in New Buffalo and 15-20 minute drive to Warren Dunes or Indiana Dunes. The backyard is large and completely fenced for the dogs. Perfect winter getaway spot

This was our second time staying at this property and it was great! We just came for a quick weekend getaway and this was perfect for us. The location is great - a really easy drive from Chicago and a good New Buffalo location. We did not bring our dogs, but we love that the place is dog-friendly. The yard space is GREAT and the rest of the house is cozy, clean and comfortable. We had no issues at all and will definitely stay again! Thank you.

Cute, Comfortable and Cozy Cottage

I finally got to stay in this lovely cottage after admiring it online for years. I felt so welcome and everything my dog and I needed was there. So relaxing I rarely left. Enjoyed the fenced backyard; perfect for reading, knitting, eating, and enjoying some wine. My dog, Bella, and I enjoyed walking to Oink’s almost daily to get ice cream. Did a little shopping at the little stores on the way to the public beach. All in all, a fabulous stay. I highly recommend it and plan to go again!
