A very memorable stay.

We had an excellent time staying in Tranquility Bay of Fires. It’s a fantastic place and the photos are a true representation of the actual place. The holiday home was clean, very neatly maintained, with all amenities provided that made our stay very enjoyable. We will most certainly be staying at Tranquility Bay of Fires the next time we’re visiting this region.

We loved our stay here, felt so relaxed being able to see the ocean from the house with the floor to ceiling windows. Fantastic location to stay for a couple of low-key days visiting bay of fires. Lots of extra little touches around the house to make our stay more convenient and had everything that we needed.

Wonderful Experience

This property is great for those looking to be away from it all. The scenery is spectacular and the house takes every advantage of it. The house is well maintained and has everything you want for a peaceful holiday. The binoculars were a hit with our family. There are pantry items supplied, plenty of towels - including beach towels - and a pod coffee machine. The best get away we have had in a long time.

Pictures do not do this place justice. Tranquility is the perfect name for the beautiful home. The location of this home is just stunning. Water views from pretty much every corner of the house. Home is well equipped with all the necessary necessities. Luxurious linens, plenty of towels and quality washroom products. Matt & Claire are great hosts - very accomodating & knowledgeable. We even saw the Aurora Australis!

Good and not so good

The house and setting was terrific. The living room/ kitchen area could not be better. But as an architect I will tell you that while the main level bedroom was good, the bathroom area was terrible. No direct access to toilet and access to it was around too many corners. And while shower was large, although no enclosure made it cold to use, the size of the sink counter space was much too small considering all the space that was wasted. Not enough hooks fof towels, etc, etc. And no counter space in bedroom for anything. One of downstairs bathrooms has no outlets. No one ever called us to ask how we're doing. So in general, good, but really needs improvement.

Amazing

Extraordinary house with the most amazingly beautiful views of the beach and ocean. We watched dolphins play in the waves from our bed. The house is well suited to accommodate 3 couples with each having their own ensuite. The main bedroom is on the same level as the main living area which is up a few steps from the main entry, and the other two bedrooms and their ensuites are a few steps down. To access the beach you need to turn left at the front gate and walk about 200mtrs towards Binnalong Bay and you'll find a wide track that takes you pass a few houses and then a narrow track onto the beach. The Meresta Cafe at Binnalong Bay is great place to eat, we went there a few times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, food was great, but I wouldn't recommend the wood fired pizza...a bit ordinary. We have stayed in many houses and apartments around the world for business and I would rate this high on our list. Extremely comfy beds, great shower with good pressure, very clean, and fabulous views from all rooms. Matt was easy and always quick to respond to any queries we had.

Piece of paradise

A beautifully designed and maintained house in spectacular setting. There were just two of us but with the three bedrooms and three en-suites it would be ideal for three couple sharing or family. Everything you need for an enjoyable holiday and close to all the beauty of the Bay of Fires area. Comfortable beds and comfortable furniture. Will be back!

Getaway with friends.

Spacious house with more than everything you need. Views were amazing from every window and the baths with ocean views were a luxury . Big comfy beds and fluffy sheets what more could you ask for. Matt was amazing with all our questions leading up to our getaway. Perfect house for a group of friends.

Memory Lane.

This property was amazing. Everything the little green shack down the road we stayed in 60 years ago wasn’t. The only thing wrong we only stayed 2 nights this time. Next time we will be staying much longer. Clean, fully stocked, comfy beds and the most amazing views that never stopped. 10stars from us.

Stunning house, thoughtful hosts!

We stayed at Tranquility for 2 nights but wish it had have been longer! Everything about this place is immaculate and luxurious - spotlessly clean, cleverly and generously designed, quiet and peaceful location, with high quality linen and furnishings. And while the house is absolutely stunning (and that view!!), it’s the thoughtfulness of the hosts that really stands out. A personalised note, the complimentary fudge, the basic supplies in the cupboard and fridge, the washing powder, the books and DVDs, the beautiful shampoo and conditioner, umbrellas, beach towels, wifi ....the list goes on, they’ve thought of everything you might need for a comfy and convenient stay. It’s these things that elevate it from a sterile rental to a home to relax and indulge in. We would definitely stay longer next time to enjoy it more. Check in and out was super easy, with clear communication from the host, Matt. It’s an easy drive to the lovely St Helen’s for cafes (The Social was awesome) and pottering around little shops and galleries. There’s no direct access to the beach from the house but it’s a nice walk down the road to access this, with farming pastures on one side and those beautiful cliff top views on the other. The sand is powdery and white, and even though we were there just before Christmas, there were never more than 4 people on the entire beach at any time. For nature lovers there are birds constantly around and at night we were visited by wallabies and pademelons. Highly recommend Tranquility for families, couples and small groups. The two bedrooms downstairs, each with their own bathrooms and walk-in robes are spacious enough to be masters, and the master suite upstairs is a dream. Can’t wait to come back!

Escape to absolute Tranquility!

Absolute WOW factor! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every bit of our stay, at this 5 star knockout location. Superbly appointed, with spectacular 180 degree water views, sparkling clean and with so many inclusions, this has been one of our best holiday stays! Here you can escape the rat race to relax in or out by the stunning aqua waters, white sands, wildlife and the truly peaceful and relaxing natural serenity of Bay of Fires.
