Stunning Sea and Mountain Views - Costal Lifestyle
This beautiful lifestyle property is set in the rural landscape South of New Plymouth, With expansive views of the ocean and the mountain, it is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the stunning beaches, rivers, walks, gardens and mountain tracks close by. Being just 5 minutes from Oakura there are numerous cafes and restaurants to explore. Oakura has all the essential services including a library, petrol station, pharmacy and mini supermarket.
There are also numerous surf breaks close by, the closest break being at the bottom of the road, which is just a couple of minutes by car. Also, 10 minute in the other direction towards the Mountain is Puke Iti park, with its beautiful gardens and world famous Rhododendrons.
New Plymouth is just 20 minutes away, with its many attractions such as the coastal walkway, the whale bridge, the Len Lye and Govett Brewster art gallery.

We are an Organic family living close to the land and making the best of our wonderful location. Living close to the mountain and to the ocean its easy to access walks to the mountain and take a swim in the ocean in the same day. For the more extreme there is the option of Sking or snowboarding and surfing in the same day.
Why they chose this property
Fell in Love with Taranaki many years ago during my travels. Settled here with my Partner Aileen 15 years ago and bought this wonderful place within a few months of being here.
What makes this property unique
This place has the most amazing views of the mountains and the ocean. But the peace, quiet and simplicity are what we love the best.
