PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION:
Per the mandate by Madison County Zoning this listing is primarily for long term rental of 30 days or longer. If you are looking for a short term rental please contact me anyway for options. I have several homes in the area that have up to 5 bedrooms.

This is a private lakefront community so guests are not allowed to bring their own watercraft. Use of the lake as far as boating and skiing is limited to property owners and long term registered guests but you are certainly welcome to enjoy swimming, fishing and the use of the lake from my shoreline.

This is a magnificent waterfront home! 4 bed 4 1/2 bath 3 story home, over 6,000 square feet of living space. Most bedrooms have a private bath. TV sitting areas complete with 65" HDTV, bar, workout room, pool table, golden tee golf, slot machine, poker table and then complete outdoor bar/kitchen with 5 person hot tub sitting on a 435 acre lake 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis!

Extremely Disappointed

It is fair to say that my group was very disappointed in this rental. The smell of wet dog was overwhelming as were the dog piles left in the yard of this “no pets allowed” property. The home was large and on water but it has not been updated in years and there wasn’t even a ladder to the water making swimming impossible for us. Beds and bedding were so old. Kitchen fridge was cluttered with the owners personal items leaving no room for our items. I could go on. Extremely disappointed. Yes - I received $750 refund - it was not enough. Watch for fees for all additional renters more than 4 adults and fees for using the hot tub. Live and learn.

I've been renting and trading properties for over 7 years and have never had a dissatisfied guest. This home is valued at over $1 million dollars currently and is constantly being maintained to the highest standards and upgrades. Just since the end of last season I have invested well over $75,000 in enhancements. As to her issues: 1) I love dogs...this group hates dogs and I would assume animals. 2) Lake access, there is a set of concrete steps that give easy access to the water 3) Refrigerator: I leave condiments, sauces and salad dressings in the refrig as a convenience for my guests. This is common practice. There are also many other refrigerators and freezers for the guests' use. 4) I charge an extra fee for over 4 to give smaller groups a better rate since they would be using the utilities, water, laundry, and cleaning that a larger group will. The same holds true with the hot tub. If a group isn't going to use it then they should pay for draining, cleaning and chemicals. In the case of this group the water was terrible...and they didn't pay for it. Anyone interested in for references I have over 100 that love my home. The majority of these are through vacation exchange sites where I exchange a week or more for another home not only here in the US but many other locations Worldwide. I should have never accepted this reservation.

Beautiful Location!

The house had amazing outdoor space. The lake view was amazing. Could easily be the best on the entire lake. Plenty of indoor space as well. We were here for my husbands annual Siblings Weekend. We chose this house because it offered 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. All very private. That would have been perfect. However, the reality was 3 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom was a bed placed in the Theater room on the 2nd floor. The 4th bathroom was in the basement. It worked, but NOT convenient at all. It didn’t ruin our time together, we still had a wonderful time. The owner responded to me always very promptly and was very generous in correcting my disappointment in the room arrangements.

What a Wonderful Weekend

What a fantastic place to have a wonderful weekend with our family. I must begin by stating that the location on the lake is fantastic. It was beautiful. The kids fished (and caught a bunch) and swam from the dock. The house was large enough for all of to have some space. The kitchen was spacious. The outside was perfect for us. The house is a bit dated in decor, but that was minor compared to the overall house. The host was great to work with. He even set us up with snacks and refreshments for our arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Amazing Stay!!

My family had an "Amazing" time at this house!! It exceeded my expectations and the owner was very attentive and accommodating from the very first encounter. He communicated with me regularly up until my arrival. Greg, was an awesome host. He had everything u would need for a weekend trip. He provided breakfast for our family (for day 1) in his state of the art kitchen. There's no need to bring any of your favorite cookware...he has it all. The house is as pictured. However, it doesn't capture the beautiful views of the lake. The house is very spacious and has plenty of room. After, being stuck in the house during "Covid-19" it felt like a domestic resort stay. I changed my purpose from a Adult & kids stay to 1 night for my teen granddaughters then 1 night for Adult daughters and it turned out to be wonderful idea and it was plenty for everyone to enjoy (especially the fully stocked bar, hot tub & s'mores by the lake). I've stayed in a lot of vacation homes; however, this was the best experience, accommodations along with "A Plus" Customer Service! I would definitely recommend this rental and will plan on staying again.

Where shall I start. we absolutely loved this place. Every amenity you could imagine is provided. Comfortable and private. We had an awesome time from start to finish, wanted to stay longer. Spacious Home for Our Group

We had a great stay at this property. The owner has excellent communication and check in and out were simple and easy. Very accommodating. We had 3 families from different states meet here and there was plenty of room. We came late fall so didn’t get to enjoy the yard and lake but that would be a bonus in the summer.

On a picture perfect lake.

The house was very large with many amenities. Every couple had their own bathroom. Lower level and outside areas were amazing.

Good Time

There were are few things that needed to be fixed but overall the owner made our stay good and we enjoyed our time there.

The group was very clean and respected my home very much. The A/C which is new froze up and the repair man came out the same day. After defrosting the frozen line and $224 later he found nothing wrong. I should mention that the home never was any warmer than 74 but the guests wanted it at 70 which should normally not be an issue. The second issue was one of my 6 spa tubs sprung a leak on one of the gets which created a mess in the lower level ceiling and floor. The solution was not to turn on that jet until I can repair it. They also locked themselves out of 2 rooms which I addressed immediately. Good group!
