With two bedrooms upstairs and two spacious, open-plan living areas (one upstairs and one downstairs), it’s the perfect place for everyone to spread out and relax. Accommodating up to 8 guests, this property is ideal for large families or groups. Enjoy two bathrooms, 2 decks, and a BBQ for laid-back outdoor dining. The large, secure backyard is perfect for kids to play, offering plenty of privacy.

While we ensure that all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillows, pillowcases, quilts, and quilt covers, we kindly ask guests to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

A $40 Booking Fee plus a separate Cleaning Fee Applies to all bookings.

Well priced

Good old fashioned beach house had a good time kids did lots of fishing across the road plenty of room on the property only a 2-minute walk to the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is a bit run down. One bed didn’t have a mattress, there were things broken in the kitchen and the fan in the main bedroom was broken. It’s got potential but needs an inspection and a thorough clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is awesome, the house not so much. Lots of cobwebs, food scraps such as sausage, wrappers, biscuits etc down cracks in lounge downstairs. Very mouldy & smelt stuffy especially downstairs. Shelves in kitchen dirty, food scraps in grill. Doors downstairs very difficult to open & close & curtains falling down on one sliding door. We always enjoy our time in Hat Head & have been visiting for over 30 years, I would have to say unfortunately the Castle is probably the dirtiest house we have stayed in. We still enjoyed our stay, like I said the location saves this house.

Very Comfortable

A very comfortable property although a little outdated. Needs a warning on stairway to alert persons of overhead hazard. Overhead fans especially in the bedrooms would be an improvement. Other than this quite comfortable.
