Sandy Bottoms - Beach & Creek Escape

Sandy Bottoms is ready for your summer escape. Located directly opposite the pristine waters of Korrogoro Creek in Hat Head and only mins walk to the golden sands of the beach.

Perfect for the family holiday, the adventurer or those wanting a relaxing getaway. Swimming, fishing, surfing, bushwalking or just chill. The stylish beach house has front and rear decks, perfect to put your feet up and enjoy a beer or glass of wine after a long day at the beach. There is a private pool for that extra chill factor!! The house also offers a huge 18m x 4m under cover BBQ area (with Webber Q BBQ) and entertaining/ Alfresco dining area. Lots of extras including single lock up garage, WI FI and Foxtel.. NO PETS.

Bedroom 1 -queen bed, ceiling fan, built in robe, ensuite.
Bedroom 2 -queen bed, ceiling fan, built in robe.
Bedroom 3 -single bed with single trundle , access through bedroom 2 - ceiling fan/ lofted lounge/ TV area for kids or third bedroom.

LINEN available at $25 per person per stay. Linen includes bedding and bath towels.

There are 2 canoes and 2 kids canoes available for use and with the creek only metres away, it is a wonderful way to explore the area.

THE AREA
Hat Head National Park on the mid-north coast of NSW near South West Rocks is a natural paradise. Explore the lighthouse, camp by the beach and go fishing and swimming. Hat Head National Park, near Kempsey, is a place of exceptional beauty. The beaches, sand dunes, rainforest and wetlands offer an ideal backdrop for bushwalking, camping or a quiet picnic.

There are lots of walking tracks to choose from, excellent fishing and whale watching. Birdwatchers can look for black swans and spoonbills in the park’s wetlands, hawks and eagles soaring above beach cliffs and shorebirds like curlews and plovers around the beach.

Such a lovely warm, spacious, modern, spotlessly clean home. Comfy beds and convenient, lovely linen hire. Loved the little extras that made it easy for us like detergent, dishwashing capsules, washing detergent, soap, cooking oil, salt and pepper, cling wrap (etc) and especially the bottle of bubbles and chocolate when we arrived.Hat Head is such a lovely quiet town, and you can walk everywhere from this location including the beach, headland, local cafe, bowls club and general store. We loved Sandy Bottoms and our stay. Highly recommend.

Another awesone stay

Best location, very clean, comfortable and relaxing house. Kitchen has all the utensils you need and internal laundry is handy. Always wish our stay at Sandy Bottoms could be longer.

Spring holiday

Hat head is a great coastal getaway with vibes from years past where country meets coast. Less than an hour from Kempsey and Coffs Harbour, there is so much to do besides enjoying the serene calm of hat head itself. Sandy Bottoms was the perfect place to enjoy the trip , with everything you need to feel at home on your holiday.

Beautiful spot for relaxing

Beautiful home across from the creek. Easy quick morning swim and a canoe in the creek and a short walk to the beach. Bowling club up the road with ice cold beer on tap and a nice atmosphere. Michael and his family live next door so very convenient if there are issues. Great stay overall

Beautiful property steps away from the water

We had a lovely stay at this property for two nights. Michael was a great host with quick responses to any questions we had. Beds were nice and comfortable and location was great. Nothing is a too far away in Hat Head and it was nice to be away from the the busier caravan park. We will try and come back in some warmer weather to really get the most out of this beautiful place! Also have to mention the wine and chocolate on arrival was a nice touch. Thank you 🙏

Hat Head Haven

A fresh, modern, well appointed and welcoming holiday haven in beautiful Hat Head. Sandybottoms is one of the cleanest and well organised properties we have stayed in. All the essentials for a relaxing beach break (even some sunshine!). Michael was great with communication too. Thank you for our special surprise: perfect to toast the newly weds! We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay to splash in the pool and take the kayaks for a paddle.

Amazing !

It’s hard to put into words how lovely this place is. The moment you walk in you are greeted with the most wonderful smells. It’s so clean and tidy. Everything you need is there. The mattresses are so comfortable, Shower is amazing, pool is amazing, great location in a nice quiet street. Can just walk across the street and take a dip in the beautiful creek. The hosts are so accommodating, easy to communicate with and just really lovely people. We were very sad to leave. Will most definitely stay here again. Cannot wait ! :)
