If you are looking for a place of your own away from the hustle and bustle of the resort scene THIS IS IT.
Ideally suitable for singles, couples or family with children over 14 years old.

Full kitchen, separate dining room, seating 6 persons and a generous living room. Central air conditioning as well as ceiling fans in every room.

Keypad entry, means no key to worry about. And no person to person contact upon arrival.

With ample equipment to cater for yourself, our house offers two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

You may catch the local bus at the gate. Less than a minute's walk to the 4-way-stop on the public bus route to capital George Town. Fare around US$2.50.

Popular Cemetery Beach within walking distance. Cottage is close to the Square and a short walk to pharmacy, bank, restaurants, cafe, public beach, local shops and a supermarket. Churches are also nearby.

If you are not up to hopping the bus, a rental car is recommended for a leisurely tour of the entire island.

Come stay at our place and live like an islander. Blend in with the locals. Dress up or dress down. Flip-flops, barefoot, shorts, t-shirts no problem. Spot an iguana in the trees or grass. A chicken or rooster could show its face. A common sight in the island. Consequently some crowing might be heard in early mornings. Roosters served as alarm clocks in the good old days. For your convenience disposable earplugs are available which you are welcome to use and replace or bring along your own.

Several popular places of interest in surrounding areas such as Maritime Heritage Trail Old West Bay, HELL, Kittiwake Dive Site,Turtle Center, Horseback Riding on the Barkers Beach, Kite-surfing.

The Mayer family were amicable guests. They had long hours of travel and arrived in good cheer. Perfect Location

Our plan was to scuba dive the West Bay and this house was walking distance to the West Bay Pier where our dive boat was located. Enjoyed Cemetery Beach and watching the sunset at Alfrescos. Hosts were fantastic.

Ed's Family had a busy dive schedule and were happy to have dive sites close to the Cottage. In spite of their tight schedule they left the house clean and tidy, even managing to wash and fold towels etc before checking out. Drinks and food they left in the fridge were appreciated..

Great home and lovely hosts

The four of us had a great time at Aloe Vera. Our hosts were so nice. They showed us around the house and were always there for us. They gave us some small Cayman souvenirs before we left too.

Aloe Vera Cottage was a stay in Paradise!

Loved short walk to beautiful swimming/Sunset walks/ snorkeling West Bay Cayman beach. The house was well maintained and very clean. The host Pearl was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our beach vacation. This was our second stay at the Aloe Vera cottage and look forward to our next Cayman Island vacation in the same beach cottage. We enjoyed a sunset dinner at Alfresco’s and the Subway restaurant was great for a quick lunch. Great family vacation spot.

Christmas week in Grand Cayman

The cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It is a very short walk to the beach and a good local restaurant, Heritage Kitchen. The house has a washer and dryer which is a definite plus. Pearl is great and will give you tips daily. She and her husband even stopped by before we left with a little gift! I would recommend renting a car for easy travel around the island.

Neighborhood feel very close to beach

Pearl was a treat. Her home had all my brother and i needed. On the north end of seven mile beach. Good home base to drive around the island just on the fringe of the tourist area. I would go back and visit her and her home again.

Eric and bro were super guests. We happened to see each other twice during their stay and it was a pleasant and positive encounter all around. They were so enjoying the beach and restaurants nearby. Living in Cayman

Very clean and nice home. Gives a real feel for living like a resident. All the comforts are provided. Very walkable location. Pearl went above and beyond to meet my needs. Air conditioning worked great!! Looking forward to visiting again.

Mr Bentley enjoyed the proximity of convenience stores, restaurants, and beach just an easy minutes walk up the road. He found the dining room a comfortable setting with reliable internet service to get some online activity going. He even had an opportunity to sample delicious East Indian Mango from the tree just a few steps outside the dining room window. He was so "at home" at Aloe Vera that I am confident he will happily choose to stay again in future.

The beach is less than a 5 minute walk

Although we didn't get much time to see a lot of the Cayman Islands due to work, coming home to a house in the evening was fantastic. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk, and the sunset there is fantastic. The house is exactly like the pictures, and the host (Pearl) is the best you could ever ask for. Pearl always went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect and kept in contact while we were there. And her guided tour of Hell was perfect, lol. Stay here if you plan on going to the Cayman Islands. You'll love it.

Great Christmas Holiday

We had a great visit to the Aloe Vera cottage this past December. Pearl's house was very clean and well-stocked for everything we needed on the trip. She met us at the house and then followed up with us periodically throughout our stay. She even set us up with some water and sodas to start. The location of the house is good, just a little north of 7 Mile Beach. There is a nice beach at the end of the street, within walking distance, and some nice restaurants nearby. It is also nice to have a grocery store and liquor store very nearby. We definitely felt we needed a car so that we could visit other places around the island, although the public bus might be an option for some places as well. We had a lot of fun playing cards, working on a puzzle, and watching sunsets at the nearby beach. It was a very relaxing vacation.

Good location in West Bay

Convenient location to area beaches, restaurants, grocery, and liquor stores. Just a short walk to a beach and Heritage Kitchen restaurant. There are a few very small rental units adjacent to this home that appeared to have local people living in them. This is not apparent on the listing and someone parked right outside the bedroom window. Note the curtains are pretty sheer so not very private. The sheer curtains also let in the morning sun so very bright at sunrise. The host was very friendly. It is her old home and she seams a little overprotective with people staying there. The place needs updating (window treatments for better privacyand a good cleaning. Very dusty ceilings fans and tile flooring left our feet pretty dirty.

Clarification: There is ONE nearby matching tiny house which does not interfere with guests staying at the cottage. You arrived from a stay elsewhere on island with bags, box and containers. Wonderful from Start to Finish

Very clean home and a short distance to the beach. It is also close to bus stop making it easy to get to where you may want to go. The owner, Pearlina was very accomodating and the house was well equipped. Having snacks and water waiting for us was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable. I can't say enough about our great stay.

Beautiful well kept space, welcoming and friendly!

What a joy it was to stay in this beautiful cottage! The place is very well kept, comfortable, open, airy, and pleasant. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook at home, which is a great benefit. The location is ideal: West Bay, Cayman is far enough away from the resorts to feel like its own small town. The walk to the beach is very easy. Spending a balmy evening wandering along the beach and watching the sunset was one of my favorite things to do. There's also convenient shopping nearby. Pearl was a delight to deal with, always friendly and accommodating, helpful and most welcoming. I would unreservedly recommend Aloe Vera cottage.

Excellent Location and Perfect Stay for Us

We had a great time at Aloe Vera for 6 nights. We enjoyed snorkeling at the nearby beach. Pearl was very thoughtful and gracious, and helpful to get us situated. It was great that the cottage had nice beach towels for us to use during our stay (as we forgot to bring towels). It was so nice to have cold water and drinks in the refrigerator before we arrived. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It was nice to be able to cook in the full kitchen and save some money, but we also enjoyed excellent restaurants close by including the Boggy Sand Carribean Kitchen restaurant and Subway for quicker lunch when we were out and about. The cottage is closely situated to both Seven Mile Beach and "Hell" and all the activities that the area provides. Our only regret is that we could only stay for 6 days. We hope to rent again soon.

Even though you could only stay for six days its good that you were able to enjoy the Annual Agricultural Show, nearby beach and restaurants along with other attractions. Awesome Place and the Owner Pearl is Whirl!

Just finished 3 nights at the Aloe Cottage which was wonderful. Pearl (the owner) really took car of us having all the necessities we needed including soft drinks and water waiting in the fridge, coffee, biscuits, tons of towels, post cards, satellite TV, you name it, it was there. She kindly checked on us via WhatsAp a few times each day to make sure we were doing well. It felt like staying with family! The place is very conveniently located: - around 100m to the closest beach (behind the Esso station) just down from West Bay Beach. The beach is really quiet, safe, shaded and beautiful! - 200m to one of the island's largest Fosters super markets (that has a hot kitchen if you want to take out some local cuisine at a much cheaper price than restaurants) and liquor store just beside it. - 50m to a 24hr Subway franchise for those late night/morning cravings. - 50m to the local bus stop which comes every 5 - 10 minutes and costs only USD2.50 to go all the way to George Town All in all, an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back!

Great place in the heart of West Bay!

Pearl was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. Meeting her you can tell right away she really loves her home, and pays attention to detail. It's very warm and inviting with great light in the dining room during the day. The island was super packed during this time due to Kaaboo festival, so we were glad we could find this place. Just a short walk to the beach, and also to a grocery store, we loved the convenience of the location. Being out a little bit from the big hotels is nice and peaceful, you're in a neighborhood with local people, but also right on a main intersection in West Bay. We loved the beach next to the West Bay cemetery, it's really pretty with all the flowers, and close to the house. Another favorite is the local restaurant Alfresco, walking distance from the house. Get the fish of the day! :) Quick access from the airport too. Laundry and full kitchen was appreciate it! We highly recommend this place!

Aloe Vera was perfect for us!

What a fabulous place to stay! Pearl and Carlton are the most gracious, knowledgeable and responsive hosts I have ever had! The house was perfect for our needs, conveniently located, yet off the beaten path. We truly felt like we were experiencing Cayman, not just visiting it. Take a short walk to the beach for a swim or to see a beautiful sunset; grab a bus to anywhere you want to go, or just relax at the house and enjoy some downtime. Thank you so much, looking forward to our next trip!!

Lovely property in a great location!

This cottage was perfect for us (2 couples). It's in a lovely neighborhood that's just one block from the beach. Away from the hustle & bustle of Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach, it was still an easy drive to anywhere on the island. There's a bus stop at the corner if you don't rent a car. The bedrooms were comfortable, and it was great to have two bathrooms. Having a full kitchen was awesome, we cooked a lot of our own food as eating out is expensive on Cayman. The living room and dining room were very comfortable, it felt like our home for the week. Pearl was lovely, greeted us upon arrival and quickly responded to any requests we made. Between the AC and the ceiling fans we were quite comfortable temperature wise, even on hotter days. Having laundry at the house was also very handy! I would recommend the Aloe Vera Cottage to anyone staying on Grand Cayman!
