Private Sunsets is a spacious 2289 sqft, elegantly furnished log cabin with incredible panoramic views, located in the beautiful Hidden Springs Resort (which has an indoor heated pool) and close to Dollywood, Dolly’s Splash Country and all the entertainment and attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This single story cabin offers cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, an open-plan design and a wall of windows overlooking the vista.

Main Level:
The spacious living room features a sleeper-sofa, chair, large HDTV with Satellite, DVD player, and a cozy gas fireplace all looking out on the deck towards the spectacular view. Off the living room is a shared bathroom with stand-up shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances. The dining table provides seating for 6. Guests can also enjoy outdoor cooking on the charcoal grill by the front porch.

The cabin offers two king suite master bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king bed, TV, DVD Player, gas fire place, a Jacuzzi and shares it’s bathroom with the great room. The second bedroom offers a king bed, TV, table-top Arcade Game, with tons of different games to enjoy, and a private bathroom with stacked washer/dryer.

Out on the deck guests can relax in the rockers, sitting at the table with four chairs or soak in the soothing hot tub while savoring the scenery.

The resort features a year-round, indoor heated-pool, so there's always something fun to do.

The cabin is located in a beautiful spot, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Easy to get too and gated. The pool was clean and my kids loved it. The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely book again!

All communication was great. A couple of things that could have been better would be the bugs (stink bugs and lady bugs) and also the hot tub was quite loud the last night. I believe that some directions for how to run the hot tub would be helpful.

The photos of this property must have been taken when it was new. The property was tired. The windows were dirty, there was hair in the bathtub, the floor register in the bathroom was old and rusty with the floor buckled behind it, and the fireplace didn’t work.

Amazing Views Cabin

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Very nice views. My mom, my 10 year old daughter and her 10 year old friend, and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our stay! It was so close to Dollywood - location is PERFECT!

Our stay was amazing check in was a breeze and the cabin itself was great. It had an amazing view and the neighborhood was very nice and felt very safe you need a code to inter the property. Our cabin was decorated for Christmas it was so lovely. Would definitely recommend and definitely going back.

The perfect cabin!

Our family of 4 stayed at this cabin for our first trip to the area and we could not have been happier! The location is perfect for Dollywood and convenient to everything. It was the last cabin on the lane and was very private. The views were spectacular and a bear visited our first morning there! The cabin was exactly as described and was very comfortable. We slept great and had a wonderful time. We will definitely visit again.

Quick Pigeon Forge Getaway

Very nice cabin, just as advertised. The resort is nice and safe, just far enough away from all the businesses of the city. The property management company was great, they even called and let us know the cabin was ready and we could check in early. I just wish you didn’t have to go to the office to check in first.

Setting in living room not comfortable. Just barely enough room for 4 adults. But, most people dont spend that much time in the cabin. The view was great. Saw a bear just 1 cabin away. Would stay there again.

Great weekend getaway!

Met another couple down in Pigeon Forge for a 4th of July weekend of hiking and relaxation. We were immediately pleased with the location of the cabin. Situated in a resort well outside of the chaos of Gatlinburg, this was quiet and had easy in and out access. Cleanliness is extremely important, especially with COVID, and the staff did not disappoint in this regard. We showed up to an immaculate cabin with clean sheets and towels. All appliances worked great and the views were spectacular from the back patio. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was clean except for the very dirty windows. The satellite and Wi-Fi are very sporadic. If I were staying here for work and had use Wi-Fi I would not recommend this cabin.

Pros and Cons

Really don’t have any “cons” other than it takes about a 4-5 point turn around once you’re at the cabin and when the sun gets on the west side of cabin, the a/c can’t keep up and it get very warm inside and it takes until 9:30-10:00 pm for it to get comfortable again. Tint the windows or install some shades would probably fix the problem. Great place and wonderful view.

Great cabin, awesome view!

Cabin: Very clean, keyless entry. Kitchen appliances are a bit dated, but the rest of the cabin is updated. The hot tub seems older but works well - we used it every night! The pass-through gas fireplace is nice. Internet is very slow, and the TV has only very basic Dish Network, with no apps (like Netflix or Hulu). One of the bedrooms has no closet or dresser, so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcase - annoying but workable. There were some "roly poly" bugs in the bathrooms, but I'll take those any day over spiders or bees! Location: Fantastic views! Very close to Dollywood. Also close to the main drag in Pigeon Forge, but you can avoid some of the traffic by using Veterans Blvd. It's an easy drive to Gatlinburg, too. Just be aware that the drive through Hidden Springs Resort to the cabin is VERY STEEP. The cabin is at the end of the road, and there's enough room to turn around (which some of the other cabins lack).

No Place to put clothes/Wifi like DSL

Wi-Fi was terrible. This was not explained in the listing. TVs would pause and very slow on phones and laptop. There was no place to put clothes (Chest of Drawers) in master bedroom. Bedside tables had very thick dust on bottom shelf. Toilet seat in second bedroom bath was on the verge of falling completely off the toilet. Had to fix it before anyone could use it. Auto circulation on hot tub running 98% of the time. Vibrating floor and loud inside cabin. Dead limbs and brush piled up next to the cabin and unable to use that area for sitting while grilling. Just mentioning a few things that were under par. We have visited Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg every year for over 30 years. This cabin was by far the least favorite of them all. We will definitely would not stay at this cabin again nor use Timber Tops for rentals in the future.

Disappointed Cabin , Money Wasted.

Private Sunsets is not private at all , cabins in front and behind you within 15 to 20ft. You can see and here people on there balconies, cabins so close no place to park your vehicle, next door neighbor parked in front of his cabin and I could barely get by , had to put my mirrors in so they wouldn’t hit there car. Cabin was not clean , dust and cobwebs everywhere. Beds was so hard we could have slept better on the floor. Will need a good chiropractor to get over this place. I know it’s hard to find good help. But this cabin is totally neglected!

Great Trip

Excellent location. Easy drive to the main road in Pigeon Forge. Took kids to Dollywood and had a great time. Cabin is at the end of a street so relatively private for a resort. Great view of the smokies! Loved drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings. Only issue we had was the WiFi was a bit unreliable but had a good cell signal to make up for it. All in all a great trip!

Cabin looks just like the pictures except the pictures make it appear larger. Overall the inside of the property was clean but we did find a T shirt from the previous guest on the floor near the headboard of the bed. The hot tub had an odd odor and is outdated , not inviting at all. The property is secluded from the other cabins in the resort and very private. The Mountain Views are amazing along with the sunsets. Added bonus is that you can view the fireworks show at Dollywood from your cabin deck. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again.

Great vacation

Private sunsets offered a wonderful vacation for my family of 5. The management company was easy to work and communicate with as well. My only complaint is that there was a lot of trash on the side of the mountain at the front of our cabin that I assume was from renters staying at the cabin above us. Overall, we had a great experience!
