Great location to attend the Festival! Very clean, comfortable beds. Very little if any noise from upstairs business. Back door difficult to use and lock. We will definitely rent again!!

Shakespeare Festival stay

The best thing about this apartment is it's location. We rent it when we attend the Shakespeare Festival. It's right across the street. The apartment has a very small bathroom and kitchen. But the location keeps bringing us back.

This rental has everything you could need for your stay in Cedar City. The location is ideal for stores, coffee, parks, and Day trips! The rental offers quiet atmosphere in the evening. We will be using it again in our next visit to town.

The property is the basement area of an office that's been converted into an apartment. The layout is unusual, but it works just fine. The owner was easy to communicate with, and the place worked fine for our family of 4 for a skiing weekend at Brian Head.

Comfort and location

We were in Cedar City for the Shakespeare festival. A more convenient location would be impossible. The apartment was comfortable, roomy, good amenities. Communication with the host was easy. It was a great stay, which we definitely intend to repeat.

We really enjoyed our stay. The host was great & let us know about some local spots we may like. The apartment was very clean & spacious for my family. There was lots to do/see near by. People in town were polite & friendly. The hour drive to Zion was not bad at all.

Great location

We had a great time because of the location of this apartment. We were able to walk all around old town from our location. There are a lot of great places to eat, shop or rent snow equipment. Brianhead is just a 45 minute drive away to hit the slops.

Quit looking! Book this!!

Best rental in Cedar City! I have stayed here many times. Perfect location, directly across from Utah Shakespeare Festival and easy walk to the historic downtown area! Fun stores there! And for the best macarons on the planet, go left out of front up to main street, turn right to Strafford hotel and look for the French Spot! They sell the macarons at the Festival too, but bit cheaper there. Very clean & cozy! Sherie is a delight to work with!

Loved the cleanliness . The hour drive to Zion was not bad. Loved having Wal Mart, Starbucks and good restaurants close. Beds and pillows in each of our rooms were MOST comfortable! The host was great.

Clean and as close to SUU as it gets

The place was clean and comfortable. Comfortable memory foam beds and pillows. Plenty of blankets. It's in a basement below a business so we had no noise above us on our weekend stay. The bathroom is tiny but there's good lighting and big mirrors in the bedroom. We didn't really cook but the basics are there. Fantastic location for SUU. I'd stay here again!

Super cool and spacious apartment in Cedar City

Stayed here 3 nights while on a spring break road trip with our grandson. We visited Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP and really didn’t spend much time in the apartment except at night because we were on the go all day. The place was clean and exactly as described and yes, the kitchen is very tiny, but we didn’t cook anyway. Large enough to make coffee and fix our lunches for the day in the mornings. The bathroom and shower are also very tiny as well but we aren’t large people so that might be an issue for a larger person. We did not hear any outside or upstairs noise. Beds were comfy and access was simple. Only problem we had was a man from the apartment complex in back told us we could not put our trash in the dumpster because it belonged to them so we said okay we’ll just leave it inside and contact the property owner and then he said it was fine to use it. Not sure what that was all about but we had a great stay, Cedar City is very quaint (Centro Pizza was yummy) and we would stay here again.

Great space

Situated downtown, it’s walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and a cute old fashioned candy/ice cream shop. The beds were very comfortable and the space was larger than expected. As it states in the listing, it is below an attorney’s office so there is some noise but only during business hours and only during the week. Overall we had a great stay and there was no issue with Wi-Fi, thermostat, or checking in or out. It’s perfect for a few day stay, only because it doesn’t have a washer or dryer, but come prepared and you’re good to go! Sherie responded promptly and made us feel very welcome.

Perfect Location

Really great location in downtown. Walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and SUU campus. Clean and nice decor to the place. We had 5 of us and it was fine for sleeping but too many people if you plan to spend significant time here. Anytime you have to use the main living space as a bedroom it makes the place feel a little cramped but in this case especially so b/c the kitchen is too small to gather in. If you don't have to use the living room for sleeping you will be fine in the place but just know that the kitchen is not for making big meals and sitting all down together - you'll have to go to a restaurant for that - I recommend the Thai place just 2 blocks away.

Quick looking, book this!!!!

This was my 4th year at this property and already booked for next year, so that should tell you everything!! Always super clean and cozy. And of course the location for the Utah Shakespeare Festival is fabulous!!! To see more detailed reviews, check out mine back to 2019 for Patty D (skipped 2020-covid). Sherie is a delight to work with as usual. There's a wonderful Farmer's Market on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday 9-1 that is just a block east, you can see it if you go out back door and look to the right! This year I discovered super delicious macarons at the Festival but they sell out quickly, so I noticed that they were from the French Spot that is now located in a motel just a few minutes away, go out of front to left, up to Main, turn right, it is in Stratford Court Apts, past it and turn in on right side, doorway with a lot of greenery.

Perfect place for Utah Shakespeare Festival!

As others have said and they weren't kidding, it's directly across street from the theaters! Can't beat the location, easy walk up to the charming Main Street. Some fun restaurants, I love Centro Pizza! Bullocks Drugs always has fun shopping choices, has clothes, home decor, etc. I always get my Christmas Cards there when I'm in town for the Fall shows. Nicely decorated, some lovely wall pieces! Very cozy. Super clean! Bed was comfy. Shower is small, but has great water pressure! Towels are big and thick! Great hairdryer! TV in living room is HUGE! I loved the YouTube TV! Found the stations listing, went to one of my favs, HGTV and binged watched a bunch of my favorites in between USF shows! Some folks mentioned the glass doors at either end, they are frosted, but I get what they say that you might feel a little exposed. But remember, this is Cedar City Utah, not Manhattan. My Tripit App gives the neighborhood a "lowest risk" rating for safety. If you think it might bother you, just turn off the porch light at night & then nobody would even notice there are stairs behind the wall. I have probably walked by that building maybe 100 times in the 21 years that I've been going to the Shakespeare Festival (summer & fall) and never once noticed that there were stairs there or an apartment below. I like that the door windows are just frosted, lets a lot of light in during the day! I've stayed all over Cedar City, hotels, B&B's, other VRBO's and I think I have finally found the perfect place! I will definitely be back, as a matter of fact, I'm already booked there for next year's summer & fall shows! Plus Sherie is a delight to work with, fast responses.

Perfect location! Literally across street from Utah Shakespeare Festival! And walkable to much in Cedar City itself! I usually drive up, park & then next time I move my vehicle is to drive home!! (unless I need to run to store (Lin's is open till midnight-at least in September) after evening show.Think this was my 3rd or 4th time staying here! (Already booked for next year)! Always super clean, comfy couch & big TV in living room, cozy overall. Very quiet as insurance business upstairs so are gone at night & weekend. Never hear anything up there during weekdays either.Nice parking lot out back, take this place just for the parking for the festival!! Sherie is lovely and great to communicate with, never had any problems, but usually let her know if I will be coming in late (she leaves all the lights on for me).

This apartment and the owner are amazing! They offer everything we need for our stay in cedar city. Unfortunately, the rental is monitored by VRBO a company I can no longer deal with due to their excessive withdrawal of funds and inability to reach anyone who can make a decision or actually assist with a problem.
