In a great location, right across from the surf club and beach, shops are not even 5min walk. Had to take own linen. Bit disappointing that bin liners weren't supplied as this wasn't something we were told to bring. Mould on bathroom roof is pretty bad. And weren't told to turn on hot water so that was a surprise when we went to take a shower. Late check in was easy to navigate and communciation with hosts were great!

Items not satisfactory

Leather couch stinks and needs a clean. It stinks out the whole unit. Dishwasher is not working and in disrepair. No toilet paper in unit on arrival, no dishwashing liquid to manually wash items. Bed mattress is old , hard and very worn. Bedroom cupboard doors are hard to slide. Whole unit block smells like an ashtray from smokers in the complex. No suitable covered parking. I hated this unit

A Shame about That!

A really good property marred by constant foul air wafting through doors and windows. Lovely ocean breezes from close proximity to the waves could be enjoyed only intermittently as smokers on the balconies below would mean that lounge sliding doors and kitchen windows had to be shut. Using the stairwell was akin to running the gauntlet, as gaseous odours from smokers collected and settled in the stairwell. Admittedly, on odd occasions some Good Samaritan would use air freshener in the stairwell, but that did not help with the front window/ sliding door problem. Signs in the Unit state that it is a Non-smoking complex. Ha! ..that there are penalties! Ha! Penalties for the non-smokers! Staying there triggered Asthma. Having said all that the Unit itself was great, if you closeted yourself and shut yourself in. Not ideal in Mid Summer. The unit is comfortable, spacious, well equipped, close to wonderful walking tracks, National Park,the beach, eateries and shops. This is 2021. Surely intelligent people understand the Health Issues surrounding Smoking. Passive Smoking is the Worst! Body Corporate get your act together. Otherwise it is a Smokers' paradise.
