The property is very nice - new and clean. Our unit had issues. A doorknob falling off, a broken TV. Scratched furniture. Hole in the wall and intermittent sewer water smell in master bathroom. The beach chairs available to use were rusty and beat up. The dryer in the washer dryer combo basically unusable as it took 3+ hours to dry anything thoroughly. On the positive side, the linens were very clean - and sheets and bed comfortable. Kitchen had just the basics but it was fine. I was contacted about two weeks before our arrival by a person named Alberto who said he’d be our concierge and to contact him with any questions or needs. I did immediately with a few questions and then again a few days later when I didn’t hear anything back. I still didn’t get a response so I called. I spoke with a different person who was quite responsive, answered my questions and followed up with an email. One request was to have them get groceries for us, which they offered and said was no problem. So I sent the list as I was instructed and never heard anything back. When we arrived they were checking us in and I asked about the groceries they said they’d gotten the request too late. The person checking us in said I’d sent it too late and also that is sent it to the wrong person because the person I spoke with doesn’t work at this property and he was out of the office for a few days. Tons of excuses and blamed me for the problem. Not great start to vacation.
