The ultimate beach bungalow. 1 block from the beach, 5 blocks from Carlsbad Village. Completely remodeled interior. Huge back deck overlooking private and fully fenced large grass backyard. Parking for 3 cars off the street. Also, this house can be fully wheelchair accessible upon request. Ramp available for front steps, oversized 2nd bath has been designed universally with 36" door, large walk-in shower, pedestal sink, and grab bars in shower and next to toilet. Come enjoy the beach life!

Pet Policy:
Well-behaved and house-trained dogs allowed (maximum 2 dogs; no cats). Dogs must be at least one year of age, up-to-date on rabies and other vaccinations. Guests must pick up after pets and properly dispose of waste. Pet fee (non-refundable): $50 for first dog, $75 for second dog. Must provide details about dogs to owners prior to arrival.

Pet friendly!! W a huge back yard. A block from the beach on a nice block w friendly neighbors. Questions were answered quickly. We can walk to the beach, restaurants & stores. Thank you we will return soon.

Nice home close to beach

We enjoyed staying at Kyle’s home. It is close to the beach, has a nice yard for the kiddos and is overall tidy. Would consider staying here again.

Fun Family Weekend

We came to experience San Diego sites and celebrate my granddaughter’s 10th birthday. We enjoyed staying in Carlsbad going to the beach everyday. This is a cozy beach house with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The backyard is beautiful. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the accommodations!

Great place for a vacation at the beach

The location is perfect! A very short walk to the beach and also walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The deck and large yard were an added bonus as was the off street parking. We would love to stay here again!

Great Beach Bungalow

Good location in Carlsbad. Near beaches and village. The house was as described, but could use some TLC. The backyard is great for dogs. Would probably rent again if in Carlsbad.

Location Location Location

This home is in such a great location. Minutes from the 5 freeway yet one short block from the beach. Backyard is perfect for children and dogs and very well manicured. The house is clean, cozy and well appointed. We were only disappointed that couldn’t spend more time there since we were in town for an event. Would most definitely book this property again

Perfect beach getaway!

Kyles beach cottage was a very welcomed respite for our family! His well appointed home had everything we needed to relax, cook and enjoy the beach! From the citrus squeezer for fresh margs to the beach chairs, he seemed to have everything we had forgotten to pack with us! The location of the cottage to town was the perfect distance to help us stretch our legs after dinner or pop down to the beach for an easy afternoon in the sun. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious with a large private backyard, perfect for our Golden Doodle to play on. Thanks for your hospitality Kyle! We will be back!

Family getaway

The rental property looked exactly like the pictures posted on VRBO. Check in was easy and great communication with the owner about our dogs coming with us. The house was comfortable, the check in and check out instructions were easy and questions that we asked were answered by the owner right away before our stay and during our stay as well. I followed up with the owner after we checked out and knowing it was the holidays -the owner did eventually get back to me. We hope to plan another stay next summer or again around Christmas time. We had a great time walking around the area and it’s close to get to the beach.

Nice house in great location!

This house was perfect for our family. We easily walked to the beach with our 6-year-old and 4-month-old. The beach is only one block away! I also took a 15 minute walk with the baby and dog into town for the farmers market. The house provides a fold-up high chair and pack n play for families with babies. Having a tub was also great for giving the kids baths. The house is clean, bright and airy, and the yard is nice and spacious for those with dogs. We have been to Carlsbad many times, but this has been our favorite place to stay!

You’re not 5 minutes from the beach if you run there joyfully! You’re even closer!

This home is so close to the beach - I was beside myself with happiness. My sister and mom and I spent 5 days here and made many wonderful memories visiting. The property is just as described, the location is amazing and the amenities are all that you need. The yard is huge, the deck is lovely, there’s driveway parking and a washer and drier! I was surprised to find that one of the two sofas was a sleeper as it’s not listed as such - and there’s an additional fold out bed in one of the closets. We made use of the kitchen and dining area daily. We caught an absolutely amazing sunset out the front windows on our first morning and were very happy for the drier as we visited during the unprecedented rains of January. Glad we could dry our clothes so easily. Lovely neighborhood. The construction across the street wasn’t an issue for us. This property was perfect for our group.

We had a wonderful stay in Carlsbad. This cottage was perfect for our weeklong stay. So great to have a washer and dryer, deck, yard, beach chairs, and lawn games! We parked our car in the driveway and walked everywhere! Terrific location!

My family and I are originally from Seattle. We've been down in Carlsbad for a couple years now and simply fell in love with the area. It's a very laid back beach vibe and does not get super crowded around here like other parts of SoCal. And the locals are awesome! We are staying. :)

This property is the absolute perfect location. Close to beach, but not right on Coast Hwy. Walking distance to beach and Carlsbad Village for eating, shopping, or just taking a stroll.

You won't find a better house for your getaway. It feels very beach like and has the best yard you'll find this close to the beach.
