Sea Change - Spacious Family Holiday Accommodation Pet friendly

Family accommodation in the beach side hamlet of Ledge Point. This property boasts 4 bedrooms,3 bathrooms, games rooms with pool table, excellent balcony to BBQ and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There is a fantastic enclosed lawn area for your pet (Outside Only) and can sleep up to 12 guests.

The first floor of the property features a games room with pool table and a queen room with its own ensuite. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas and another 2 bathrooms so there is plenty of room for a couple of families to have an enjoyable stay, this property is pet friendly, (Pets are strictly outside only and a $250 pet bond is applicable). The spiral staircase may not be suitable for small children.

This property strictly sleeps 12. No Tents, Caravans or Camper Trailers allowed at property.

Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangement has been made.

No school leavers or under 25 adult groups.

Ledge Point is a charming fishing village located 10 minutes drive south of Lancelin. Ledge offers beautiful sugary-white beaches stretching for as far as the eye can see. The village was established to service the local cray fishing industry and has evolved into a beautiful beach-side getaway. Ledge offers an interesting mix of traditional and modern beach house, chalet, caravaning and camping accommodation.

This part of WAs coast is recognised internationally as one of the great windsurfing venues. In January each year they hold the prestigious Ledge Point to Lancelin Ocean Classic, which draws enthusiasts from around the world.

Sport and entertainment in the village centres on the Country Club, with its golf course, bowling greens and tennis facilities.

Just south of the village is where the Dutch East Indies ship, the Vergulde Draeck, or Gilt Dragon, went down after striking reefs in 1646. Some 70 mariners were marooned ashore, never to be rescued.

Huge house, great area!

A lovely house that easily took two families. Ledge is a quiet spot with a quick drive to Lancelin for any supplies, lovely beaches, sand boarding etc Communication was a little lax from the property manager, who never answered the phone (only returned calls). The house had everything we needed.

Great location in quiet cul-de-sac. Will definitely book again. Just a couple of small gripes the outdoor chairs were very dusty and no outdoor table Sheets left on bed to make yourself, not sure if that’s standard practice. The white lounge chair needs replacing and if your are bringing your own towels don’t forget your bath mat and hand towels too. Country Values team are great to deal with. Thanks for a great stay.

Family holiday

We had a lovely stay at Seachange. Just some things to suggest to improve on… provide enough dishwashing tablets for the time the guests are staying, make sure the doona covers are washed as one had white residue (similar to toothpaste), spider webs need to be cleaned. Underneath lounges were very dirty, which we would not normally notice but we had something roll under and had to move lounge and it was filthy underneath. Also the basin tap in upstairs bathroom is leaking and needs fixing.Otherwise a lovely holiday home and the pool table was enjoyed by all.Thank you, Fiona

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. A great house for a group and the grounds and garden are very pet-friendly.The kitchen is very poorly stocked (not even a vege peeler or a wooden spoon/spatula) so I would recommend bringing your own equipment if you intend to cook.We lost all lights and some power on the ground floor on the Saturday night of our long weekend stay due to a storm. Whilst I completely understand that a storm is unavoidable and that finding an Electrician in a small town on a long weekend is challenging, the complete lack of communication to tell us this was not acceptable. Our numerous phone calls and text messages were ignored and we were left to believe that an electrician was coming and the problem would be fixed. It wasn't until night fell that we realised that obviously noone was coming to fix the situation so we were left in pitch blackness and therefore unable to use half the house with no explanation or apology given. If we had been advised that no electrician was available we could have bought lantern/torches or something to cater for the problem.I would stay there again but hopefully the Property Manager learns that simple communication goes a long way to enable people to plan through unavoidable inconvenience.

Fabulous Place for a Weekend Retreat

This is one of the best property we’ve stayed in Ledge Point. The house is of a great size for 11 people and very well equipped. Plenty of toilet paper, hand wash, dish washing tablets and cooking utensils. Everything we needed was available. Love how clean and tidy it was when we arrived. The only problem is that the dining table only sits 8. We managed to squeeze three outdoor plastic chairs in but if we had 12 people which is the maximum, 12 wouldn’t fit around the table. Besides that, all good👍🏼 thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year in a row that we have rented this property because of the size, set up and location. We will be renting again next year as well. There are couple of things I would like to bring to your attention. Firstly we turned up Friday for a long weekend and both the general waste bin and recycling were both overflowing. We then went to turn the BBQ on in the morning for breakfast and the gas bottle was empty. Then the last thing which is the most annoying is that the same pedal fold bin that was inadequate and broken last year was still there! Apart from the fact the bin has been broken for a year it is too small for that size of holiday house. Also just a suggestion is that given how cheap TV's are at the moment it would make sense ton put a TV downstairs as well.
