The Comforts of Home @Kelanvale

Kelanvale is conveniently located 16kms from Orange CBD, in the heart of Borenore. Private open plan bedroom and living space with TV is perfect for your next weekend getaway.

Continental breakfast is provided for all guests.

Our property is in close proximity to the Australian National Field Days, and many local Cool Climate wineries that Orange is well known for. Orange has many fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars. Famous for F.O.O.D Week and Orange Wine Festival there are so many reasons to visit!

Guest access

The guest suite is located at one end of the main house and has a private entrance from the foyer. There is plenty of room for vehicles of all sizes.
Heating and Air Conditioning is centralised for the house. Guests are more then welcome to stroll around the gardens and find a quiet spot to sit outside and enjoy the country air.

Interaction with guests

My husband, Kelvin and I are social people, and are delighted to welcome you to our home. We are available to answer any questions about the property and are happy to make suggestions on where to dine, or advice on local events around the region.

Ann was a great host. She was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and comfortable. The house is in great location. It is quiet, relaxed and close to Orange. We had a lovely stay and definitely go back again in the future.

Ann’s place is a beautiful home only a short drive to the centre of Orange. Very welcoming family and a beautifully appointed space attached to the house. The home is on a working orchard surrounded by wineries. We had a wonderful stay.

My partner and I needed a place to stay for our 5 hour turn around before having to get back up and head off again. We needed somewhere where we could feel settled straight away. This place is amazing, we were very disappointed we couldn't enjoy it more.

Ann's welcome was so warm and friendly and her accommodation was relaxing, comfortable and peaceful with a continental breakfast provided of cereals, fruit, toast plus local marmalades and jams. We could easily have stayed longer than our 1 night. Thank you Ann and Kelvin for sharing your home.

Plenty of room

The room and ensuite were spotlessly clean. Bed and furnishings very comfortable. The room was very spacious - included bed, couch, 2 lounge chairs, TV, table and chairs and still had plenty of room. Absolutely recommend the room for a stay near Orange.

Absolutely incredible! Hosts were so lovely and accomodating and have made their place into a guests dream. Anything you could possibly want or need, was there! The place was beautiful - like something from a country homes magazine and it was such a nice experience. Thank you to Ann and Kelvin for having us and for being awesome hosts. It's a lovely spot ten minutes from town. The rooms are large and spotless. The bed is very comfortable, the fittings and fixtures are top quality and everything works. A five star hotel is not better. The hosts are a delight, friendly and helpful. One of us was injured while sightseeing. Ann and Kelvin went out of their way to help, even acquiring aids from friends. I cannot recommend this place too highly. Bob Erwin

Ann and Kelvin have been the most accommodating hosts. Ann was expecting me when I arrived and showed we around the property. Had an entire area for myself, which included lounge, dining table and breakfast set up which included cereals, oats, fresh bread, homemade jam, honey, juice, milk, tea and different spreads. En suite bathroom will hotel style amenities and personal care courtesy packs. Bed was most comfortable! Hangers were provided so I was able to unpack nicely. My stay highlight was Ann’s lovely approach and willingness to make my stay a unique one. Her attention to every detail in the guest room made me feel like home. She cares deeply for your comfort and peaceful stay. I would love to come back and would recommend to anyone visiting Orange region for a small getaway. Thank you Ann you’ve been nothing but amazing to me :)
