Pure Luxury on Maui's Westside! A true romantic escape or the family vacation of a lifetime. You can have it all at Honua Kai Resort and Spa! Our desired inner courtyard sanctuary in the Hokulani Tower offers amazing amenities which include: 2 primary bedrooms with king size beds (on opposite sides of the unit to offer privacy) along with 2 beautiful attached primary bathrooms and a sofa in the living room that converts into a queen sleeper. The fully stocked kitchen and laundry room provide all of the amenities of home. If you prefer to stay in, you can enjoy free wi-fi and the three 65 inch smart tv's in the living room and each bedroom. For added comfort, we have 2-zone central air conditioning and ceiling fans in each bedroom.

The premier resort location offers beautiful ocean views with sights and sounds of waterfalls and the Koi pond directly below your balcony. Nestled within 38 lush acres of gorgeous Polynesian paradise on Kaanapali's pristine North Beach, Honua Kai is home to 5 pools with three distinct pool experiences: an adult pool, an infinity-edge pool with cabanas and hot tubs, a children’s pool that includes a water slide and a lazy river to provide something for everyone. This spectacular property is the ONLY beachfront condominium complex built on Maui in the past 20 years!

Our Resort offers all the amenities you could ever need for your dream vacation! We have a gorgeous lobby, a great concierge team, a beautiful spa, state of the art fitness center, onsite BBQ's, Whaler's General Store, Aina Gourmet and the legendary Duke's Restaurant has opened their only Maui location at the Honua Kai Resort! Enjoy the beach side dining experience or dine-in on your own lanai and watch the nightly lighting of the tiki torches as the sun disappears into the sea over the Island of Lanai.

A local shopping center is within walking distance and includes a supermarket, restaurants, Hoopiilani Food Truck Park, dive & snorkel rentals and many various other specialty shops. Several other ocean-side restaurants and bars are also within walking distance.

The charming port town of Lahaina is a short 10 minute drive away. The boardwalk now connects north and south Ka'anapali Beach for those who prefer to stroll along the beach. This provides access to additional restaurants and the popular shops at Whaler's Village in South Ka'anapali Beach.

Maui heaven with an ocean view

We had the best family vacation. This 2 bedroom was perfect for our 2 families. Great size bedrooms with our own bathrooms. And loved the lanai!!!

Best VRBO property ever

This unit at Honua Kai was everything we could have wanted. The unit is gorgeous and clean; the beds were very comfortable. The resort is just wonderful—quiet, beautiful grounds, close to the ocean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the free photo opportunity at the resort and got some wonderful family photos!

Memorable Hawaiian Getaway

Condo is beautiful, spacious and welcoming, with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful stay at the beach. The development has great pools, restaurants and amenities and a long boardwalk for beach walks. Host made check in easy and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The property was lovely and we had all we needed. We had a fantastic stay and I would not hesitate to stay again if we are fortunate enough to return to Maui. We were able to watch whales breech right from our balcony while enjoying our morning coffee. My family had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Great stay!

We loved our stay at this unit. Communication prior to arrival and check in was very easy. Unit was exactly as described and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella and boogie boards. Parking was below the building with very easy access to elevator and the unit. Would recommend!

Friend’s wedding stay

My wife and I along with another couple thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice unit, very clean, great location, easy beach walk access to nearly everything, close to great tennis facility. We had a great time enjoying sunsets at Duke’s or on the lanai. Perfect unit for two couples with dual masters and adjoining bathrooms.

Wonderful condo to enjoy Maui!

The condo is as described. It truly has everything you need to have a great family vacation. We had one minor maintenance item and it was resolved within an hour. Very impressive service! Loved the lanai and had some wonderful times sitting out there with the family.

Perfect week in paradise!

We absolutely loved this property and unit. Everything from check in to check out went smoothly! The many personal touches in the unit made our family feel welcomed and made our stay that much nicer! The view from the balcony belongs on a postcard. We enjoyed our morning coffee out there each day. Our family loved the pools and close proximity to the beach. This place has it ALL! Kaanapali Delight

Maui never disappoints and our stay at Honua Kai was delightful. From whale watching, morning walks, evening sunsets, snorkeling, pool time, Lahaina shopping, local restaurants, photo inspiring landscapes, this place has it all. The concierge helped us schedule a family friendly zip line adventure that we all enjoyed, from 76 year olds, to 40 year olds, to 7 year olds! She also directed us to turtle beaches and kid friendly swimming spots. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We had an amazing vacation in Maui! We loved everything about Rick and Kim’s unit. It was spacious for our family of 5 with comfortable beds, sofas and a fabulous lanai. We cooked some dinners in the kitchen and on the poolside grills and loved eating on the lanai with views of the ocean and pools. The snorkeling is awesome off the beach- we saw beautiful fish and sea turtles. We loved the family-friendly feel of the resort! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Maui location/condo

This property was just as described. It was clean, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. They also provided all the necessary beach amenities. The close beach access and boardwalk were perfect. You can easily drive to restaurants and shops close by. We also arranged a hike to the rain forest water falls and zip lining above Lahaina. The kids loved it and wanted to stay longer. We will definitely return. Note that this area of Maui is very windy.

This place is THE BEST

This was our second visit to this property in this listing and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The property is great. The location is perfect - right on the beach but NOT one of the crazy-crowded beaches, and the on site amenities are ideal for a young family. The property manager was great at communicating and quick to resolve issues (which were very infrequent). The room is stocked with stuff and things that the hotel rooms do not provide, like boogie boards and other beach essentials. Honestly, we VRBO a lot and this our favorite. Twelve thumbs up!

Perfect Paradise!

We had a fantastic time staying with our family in this lovely condo. We utilized the sofa bed in the living room, which was surprisingly comfortable with the provided pad and linens. Our family of six was very comfortable. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, plus some fun beach toys in the closet. The location was great for staying put (pools, beach, balcony, gym, restaurant) or using as a base to explore the island (close to Lahaina and Kapalua). We snorkeled every morning just by walking out to the beach; it's superior to Black Rock and seemed like much calmer water to enter and exit. We're already dreaming of our return visit.

Great 2 bedroom suite, comfortable bedding and nicely decorated. Patio furniture a bit crowded, but kitchen was well appointed and Monty (unit manager) was very responsive. Had issue with WiFi and he was helpful and quick to respond. Bell and Valet were very service oriented.Good location on the Island, had several meals and drinks at Duke's, which was fabulous. Always crowded, so need reservation. Rick and Kim (owners) were responsive to all our pre-arrival questions with great suggestions on dining and activities!

10 days in Paradise!!

This is an absolutely beautiful unit in the best area to stay on Maui!! It is even better than the photos. Very well equipped kitchen along with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc., pretty much anything you could want. There are also great on-site amenities like their own beach, a wonderful little coffee shop/deli and Duke’s Restaurant. Owner’s Rick and Kim were very helpful in answering questions very quickly and providing good advice for our arrival. The on site property manager, Monty, was only called upon once to replace a burned out light bulb, which he had done before we even got back from lunch. My sister, brother-in-law, husband and I had a very relaxing 10 day stay in a very comfortable “home away from home” atmosphere. We would not hesitate to stay in Rick and Kim’s home again!!

Beautiful resort!

We enjoyed an 8 day stay here with another couple! The grounds and pool area are beautiful and very well kept. Having two master suites with the living space in between us made it very private. This unit is in a perfect location..close to the elevator and the beautiful courtyard off the balcony! You have a partial view of the ocean and the pool area. The unit is very clean and had beach chairs and umbrellas for our use! There is very little to no cupboards in the kitchen to store any of your food. Also be aware that there are no condiments (salt, pepper etc) or supplies ( foil, seran wrap, baggies, etc) We had enjoyed all those little extras in other units in previous stays.

We must completely clean and remove all items after each guest has departed. We also offer a fully equipped kitchen to make your stay more pleasant. Lovely, spacious accommodation

I rented this beautiful condo for my daughter and her family of 4 (children 4 and 6), and they loved it. Beautiful views of the grounds and the ocean. The owners were very easy to communicate with while arranging rental details, and after that the property manager was easily accessible for anything that might come up. Overall they were very delighted with the place, and only had one minor complaint: because the boys are of an age where it's more trouble than it's worth to take them to restaurants, the family prepared most of their meals at the condo. They bought a week's worth of groceries, but there is very little space anywhere except the counters to store food. Everyone had a fabulous time!
