Efficiency with use of dock. Full kitchen and patio. Minutes to Lake George and Silver Glen a fresh water springs. Water and electric on dock with fish cleaning station. Rural quiet area. Fish right off the dock. Pillow top king size bed. Partial View of the river. Sofa opens to a double bed. 1.5 hours to Disney, 1 hour to St. Augustine and Daytona. 10 miles to Crescent City. Ice maker in fridge. Great location for boating and fishing. Boat ramp 200 foot away.

Great place on the river

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was clean and comfortable. It is a studio style cottage all one room which is perfect for a couple. The property is beautiful and so are the sunsets from the dock! It is also within walking distance from a restaurant, which had pretty good food and drinks! We will definitely be back!

You can't read a book by it's cover.

Super nice couple that own the unit and very helpfull. With that being said; let me just say there is no privacy when outside or on the dock. There is no direct view of the water from the studio except between the houses (very little). The unit is behind the main house and the view is of their back door. The unit is connected to the garage that they visited often. Lots of noise during nap time. I know we picked this trip last minute and on a busy holiday, the owners had their entire family grown children, grandkids visiting this entire weekend. We wanted a relaxing getaway for my wife and I. That did not happen however, we meet the entire family. Pictures are very deceiving this is a studio. Only door in the room is a closet. Even a slider to bathroom. My suggestion if you do not take a boat don't go.

I am so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. You are right we did have many family members visiting. It being Labor day weekend they wanted to share the holiday with us using the boats and jet skis. We all went to the springs both days. The same can be said for all neighborhoods. Familys get togethr on holidays. You see my front door not the back from the kitchen area french doors.. The water view in the pictures is one I took from the Living area window. I was suprized that you thought you would have the dock to yourselves. I don't think you would get that anywhere unless you leased an entire home at a much higher cost. The cottage is not listed as a one bedroom. It is 500 square feet. Call it cottage or efficency. Almost twice the size of a normal hotel room. A studio is where an artist, photographer or sculpter works. I would not call it that. The door to the bathroom is a pocket door not a slider. The garage door is normally used 2 times a day(Opened in the AM closed at night). Again I am sorry it did not fit your needs. I have had many guest fin the past who have given me great reviews. Not everyone has the sme expections.

Just right for two who love to fish

This little house is located directly behind the main house of the property. That house is directly on the water, but we were allowed full access to the wonderful dock., where we kept the boat. The ferry crossing and boat ramp are one house away so putting the boat in and out to get it to our dock was a breeze. The little house is very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will be back!

Cozy studio fishing cottage steps away from the river.

Tucked away on the banks of the Saint Johns River as it opens into Lake George, next to the dock for the Drayton Island ferry, this studio cottage is cozy and close to the water. The sunsets are amazing!
