Our residence is an ideal retreat for sizable gatherings, featuring an elegant living area and a vibrant family/game room equipped with mini foosball, mid-sized air hockey, & a variety of board games.
We take pride in presenting our exclusive seasonal gardens, with an array of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, all for your enjoyment and to enhance your farm-to-table dining experience. Please note that the gardens are seasonal and depending on season and weather may not look as beautiful as they do in the photos. Atascadero, a charming and intimate bedroom community, offers a respite from the hustle of urban life, blending the allure of historical charm with modern attractions. For those eager to explore, a wealth of outdoor pursuits awaits, including pristine beaches, trails, cycling, tennis, and golf. The locale is enriched with a vibrant selection of breweries, cideries, wine tastings, cinemas, and dining options. Conveniently situated in the Central Coast, we’re just 10 minutes from the Paso Robles Wine Country, 15 minutes from Morro Bay Beach, and 15 minutes north of San Luis Obispo. Our home is a sanctuary of wellness, strictly prohibiting smoking and parties, and adhering to a no-pet policy due to the owner’s severe allergies and asthma. For guests with pets, alternative accommodations are recommended. A reminder: our dedicated gardeners attend to the gardens every Thursday to ensure their pristine condition for your pleasure. The sleeping arrangements include: 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds, 1 sofa bed suitable for two small adults, 2 rollaway beds, a crib, and a pack 'n play.

This welcoming space is entirely yours to enjoy. Step inside to discover a spacious living room with a large smart TV, and a separate family/game room complete with air hockey, a game table, foosball, Connect 4, and an assortment of board games, plus an additional smart TV for your entertainment. The cozy downstairs bedroom is equipped with a smaller TV and two plush queen beds for restful nights. Venture outdoors for lively games of Corn Hole, Washers, and Ladders. Our Seasonal Gardens are a peaceful sanctuary for unwinding. Fire up the barbecue for a savory meal al fresco. The outdoor living space is beautifully illuminated by the soft glow of pergola lights, inviting you to relax by the fire pit’s warmth and the gentle cascade of the waterfall. Embrace the tranquility of the Central Coast in this enchanting retreat.
Other things to note
Our home is designed for peace and security, open to guests who are at least 28 years old. With a Ring doorbell at the front door, back and driveway, plus a Nest Thermostat for optimal climate control, we prioritize your comfort and ease of mind. The indoor fireplace is for visual appeal only, but you’re welcome to enjoy the outdoor fire pit.

4 Families Getaway

We were a group of 8 adults and 6 kids ranging from 2 to 8 yrs old. There was enough room for our 4 families and the den/game room was perfect for the kids to hang out in. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Neighborhood is quiet and good location…Morro Bay and Paso Robles were short drives away. Owner Jean was very friendly and responsive to our needs. We’d definitely consider staying here again!

The home was gorgeous and in a wonderful location. The photos online do not do it justice. It’s a spacious single story that is immaculate. We felt at home and very comfortable. I would rent this location again in a heart beat. The only issue we had was with the outdoor fireplace. We couldn’t get it to turn on. It was our last night so we didn’t bother contacting anyone due to the time of day.

Out of town wedding

The house was in a perfect location for families from northern and southern Ca to meet up for an out of town wedding. The house was large enough for all to have plenty of space inside and out. It was spotless and neat and Jean had even left snacks and tomatoes from the garden in the side yard for us to enjoy. I would recommend this property to anyone going to the Atascadero area. Our wedding was lovely and so was our stay at this property. Thanks Jean.

Second Wedding in 11 months.

Returned for the second time in 11 months to this lovely home in Atascadero. We enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. The home is spotless and well stocked with everything you might need for your stay. We had eight people and lots of room to spread out if we wanted. But since we were from different parts of California we pretty much stayed in the same room and just visited while we could. Unfortunately with Covid-19 not everything was open to visit. Nonetheless we had a wonderful time. And since I only had 2 granddaughters to marry off, I don't know if I will be back. (Unless I come back wine tasting) But, I am going to tell everyone what a great place to stay if they are in this area. Thanks again, for a lovely home to use while in the area. Lovely Property

Friends for 50 years gathered for the first time since the shut down for our annual trip. We could not have more enchanted with this beautifully appointed home & gardens. There was nothing wanting. It is exactly as the photos. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special and help with some backyard features when we could not figure them out. Close to Morro Bay and several wineries. Oh did I mention the sheets !! We were spoiled and happy. Will come back again.

Lovely and Comfortable

We were very fortunate to stay in this incredibly welcoming and inviting home. Every luxury was there for us. Coffee bar stocked with K-cups, laundry detergent, luxury linens on the beds, thick towels, extensive array of dishes/pot/pans/small kitchen appliances.! The backyard - so peaceful, beautiful gardens, soothing water feature, covered patio with plenty of seating and a gas fireplace. We were a large family group - all arriving and leaving at different times - and it was so easy to share and it felt like a home. The host, Jan, was great with communication and very accomadating. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

jean's property was warm and inviting. we settled in and relaxed then walked to the lake atascadero music and food truck experience. easy to get around town. the kitchen was easy to work in and tables outside were accommodating. everyone enjoyed themselves.

Lovely house- beautiful gardens!

We had a wonderful stay at the Creekside Cottage. The house was larger than expected, plenty of room to spread out. There are 2 living room areas with TV’s which was nice. We had 2 young children who found and loved the toy stash! The gardens are simply beautiful. We sampled some tomatoes and basil to make a Fresh Caprese salad! Our little vacation had us unfortunately following bad air quality from the wildfires- however there was plenty to do just staying inside as well. Everything is set up very well with instructions. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you didn’t even n ow you needed! We would definitely stay here again! Thanks again.

Would absolutely recommend this place. The owners were thoughtful by having extra toilletries in the 2 bathrooms. Beds were comfy and the backyard was cute even though we couldn’t really go out there because of the rain. Loved it and will come back, see you soon SLO!

Martin moved up to San Luis Obispo in 1977 to play Football at Cal Poly SLO, Jean moved up in 1986 when we were married. We have raised our 3 kids in Atascadero. We feel so blessed living where we do, so much to do. Hiking, biking, beaches, seasonal water park, breweries, wineries, restaurants, farmers markets and so much more. Please note due to our allergies absolutely no pets and no smoking allowed in the home or on the property. You will waive your security deposit and be asked to vacate the property. Thank you!

Our home offers you the peace and quiet you would like on your vacation. A seasonal vegetable and herb garden, along with a seasonal flower garden. The backyard offers a private little creek with a waterfall, along with the home backing up to a small seasonal creek running through Atascadero. The home is near numerous wineries, breweries, and Morro Bay. A few minutes to our Charles Paddock Zoo and Atascadero Lake Park. Please note that we do have two cameras on site. On at front door and the other at driveway. This is for our protection when the property is vacant.

We fell in love with the gardens at this property. The seasonal vegetable and herb gardens are great for your farm to table cooking. We have a list of local Farmers Markets for your convenience along with a fully stocked kitchen (knives, food processor, blender, toaster, coffee makers, french press, pots and pans, etc..) We love the seasonal flower gardens along with the fruit trees the home offers. Truly a wonderful place to visit.
