Summary:
One of the most affluent areas of the city, Recoleta boasts excellent shopping, restaurants and stunning embassies. Some of the major tourist highlights, including the Recoleta Cemetery, striking French architecture and the Floralis Genérica sculpture, are nearby.

The Space:
Purple Rain is very spacious (1506 sqft) and features 14 foot high ceilings. The building was built in 1905 but modernized to a slick NYC loft style with an antique yet modern feel to it. Also, the property features original hardwood flooring, moldings and windows. It is the ideal place to come with your friends or family!

The Neighborhood:
Famous for its elaborate French architecture, numerous parks and plazas, many sophisticated restaurants and high-end clothing boutiques and art galleries, Recoleta is Buenos Aires' most classic neighborhood. On weekends, the masses gather at Plaza Francia outside the Recoleta Cemetery, the resting place of Eva Peron, to relax and explore the multitude of stands selling clothing, jewelry and artisans. Recoleta is adjacent to the areas of Plaza San Martin, with its extensive and verdant plaza; and Palermo, with numerous shopping options and extensive network of parks.

Getting Around:
One block away from Av Libertador, lots of buses and six blocks away from Metro Station Retiro.

Beautiful Apartment, clean and comfortable.

This apartment is well located to markets, currency exchanges, restaurants, high end shopping, everything yo could possibly need for a Buenos Aries trip. Spacious, comfortable beds, updated closets. I can't say enough about this place. It made our stay so much better having a clean and safe location to come back to every day. Highly recommend this listing, especially with the 2 king beds and 3 bathrooms.

Purple Rain will make you party like it's 1999

This apartment is in a great part of town on a street with just about every store you'll need. The apartment is clean and while not the newest, it's very nice. Great water pressure and endless hot water. The property management company is SUPER responsive and helpful with any questions you have. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Great Spot

I stayed at Purple Rain for the month of February 2022. Oasis management was super responsive with any concerns I had. The place was spotless and large. The location is excellent. While I sleep with earplugs as a habit, I was surprised at the lack of noise considering it is on the corner of a major avenue in Libertador. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had great pressure. Overall, I was very pleased.
