FYI: The building our condo is in went under a MAJOR construction project in 2023; every unit now has new trim, doors, and all new decks! Because of this, we received some negative reviews because unfortunately, those guests were in the thick of the project (which we were under the impression would be completed before the season started). If you read reviews from the summers before 2023, we typically receive a perfect rating and guests are very happy with their stay. Rest assured, if you book with us for the summer of 2024, you will have a great experience! Thank you in advance for trusting us with your vacation!

The property is located at Bridges Bay which includes access to the outdoor pools with a swim-up bar, indoor waterpark (6 passes daily), zip line, park, gym, arcade, and 2 onsite restaurants. We are in the Coronado building on the second floor in unit #201, which is the closest building to all of the amenities!

The spacious floor plan includes granite countertops in the kitchen with tile backsplash, living room with a stone surrounded fireplace and onsite laundry.

Great place to stay for all ages

Our extended family stayed in this condo with ages ranging from 1-66 & it worked well for all! The water park passes were great to have & there were things for everyone to do within walking distance of the condo. Host was responsive & instructions for check-in & check-out were clear & made it easy.

Great summer getaway

Our family has been vacationing at Lake Okoboji for over 40 years, and this property was really nice due to its proximity to the main hotel and pool area. The condo had just the right amount of space for our family of 4 and the property owner was available and responsive to requests. All in all, a very nice experience.

Perfect Location!

We were able to get away for a last minute trip with the kids. We knew they would enjoy the water park, and this property is a great spot to access all the things that the resort has to offer. Host is an excellent communicator, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location for the water park and the owner was very responsive to the few questions that I did have. Place was clean; only small downfall was the king bed was not the most comfortable and there was a blind missing on our patio bedroom door. Would stay again - No Hesitation!

This is a great property! We loved it. It was clean and comfortable and new. The pool and water park were awesome for adults and kids. The tall water slide was crazy!! One time down was enough for me and my 5yr old. But it was great! We will be back!!

The location was ideal for us. We spent a lot of time at the water park. Since we were a large group and had two condos not having the deck wasn’t ideal. Also at 7:00 in the morning they are working and we had no shades so no privacy. Looking in at us. I really think I should have been offered a discount. The bath mat was filthy as well as the master bedspread. You wouldn’t want to run the ceiling fan with the layer of dust.

Cleanest and amenities In the condo were a disappointment

Surprised on how dirty the appliances in the kitchen were. Found coffee in the coffee maker along with the filter and grounds. The coffee maker was full of grounds and the toaster was full of crumbs. The worst was the stove. The stove top had food burnt into it and the oven was must not have been cleaned all summer. My sister cleaned the stove top and it was sparkling when we left. The deck was so dirty that we didn’t open the shades in the master bedroom because we didn’t want to look at the dirt built up around the door. It hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. I took pictures of it all. Didn’t feel any special cleaning was done for Covid. Nothing documented any where that they did any cleaning for Covid like I have seen on other homes descriptions. Not a well furnished condo for relaxing. One lamp had the switch broken off in the queen room. There seemed to be a lack of lamps in the condo and the ones they had were overly small. No dressers or chests or luggage racks to place your clothes on in the bedrooms. The master bedroom furniture was so strange for a lake house and just not pretty or functional or relaxing. Wires and some box hanging out of the tv in master. No coffee table or foot stools in the living room. Didn’t consider using the grill and I never have been told before at any house or condo that I was responsible to fill a empty propane tank. I expected not to have a view of the lake but there really is not a view of the lake at all when there are leaves on the trees. No documentation in the condo for running anything or giving any directions. The thermostat took about 10 steps to do to set a temperature. The only documentation was the checkout duties list on the refrigerator with a extremely long list of items for the renter to do on checkout. I have never been asked to do that many tasks at checkout before at any condo in the US. We didn’t use any of the water park passes and for a group of older adults this was not the condo for us even though the price was reasonable.

my family had a great time staying and enjoying family time at Bridges bay resort. Liked the location of the condo, close and walking distance from the pool area. My only complaint was my son found dirty towels in the shower of the master bathroom, we would of like for the deck to have been spider web free and the leaves cleaned off! I needed to sweep it off because of my infant grandson who loved to be on the deck. When you pay for cleaning I just expect all areas of the condo to be cleaned.

Definitely would stay here again as we come annually for a family reunion. Very clean and nicely furnished. The only item of improvement would be the master bed. Very very soft to the point of being uncomfortable at times.

I manage all of our properties and have been doing so for 4 years now. I strive to make sure all of our properties have the essentials for day to day living and items I appreciate when using other VRBO's, such as books, games, etc.

Why they chose this property

We like the Bridges Bay community and all it has to offer! The pools, restaurants and park make it a perfect location for family summer vacations. This condo was a perfect fit for the space we needed.

What makes this property unique

The previous owners took very good care of the property and we plan to do the same! We are also located in the building closest to the amenities and the boat docks, so your walk over with all of your gear is very easy and short!
