"Hassell" Free Beach House

A large, family friendly house in the friendly Bay View Park community. This beautiful & beachy home features 6 bedrooms and large living spaces with incredible views of the bay. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Living Space: Wrap-around sunroom/family room with a comfortable sectional and spectacular bay views with a mounted TV. The upstairs loft with additional couches and television features large windows (the best view in the house) and the perfect space to relax with board games or a book. The front sitting room features more views and a lending library of beach reads.

Kitchen & Dining Space: Large kitchen with center island, perfect for morning breakfasts and conversation. Dining table seats 8, breakfast nook seats 6, and kitchen island seats 6, so there is ample seating for your family dinners.

Bedrooms: The home features 6 bedrooms that each sleep 2. A large master bedroom with a king bed, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, and 4 bedrooms with 2 twin beds.

Outdoor space: Home features a charming front porch and spacious front and side yard. The porch is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and chat with neighbors and visitors on morning walks. The side yard features a small paved patio with a gas grill. The side of the house also features the outdoor shower, a favorite for a post-beach rinse!

Bay View Park is a bayside community on the southern end of Bethany Beach, DE. The community features canals and quiet streets with beach access just a short walk away. Rental includes beach chairs, games, coolers, and beach cart so your family can easily enjoy a full day at at the beach.

Amazing home for family vacation

Our family of seven absolutely loved this house. We had ample space, the kitchen was incredibly supplied for all of the chefs in the fam, and the beach was just a short distance away. We feel lucky to have found it - thank you to Pam for the great advice, easy check in and lovely disposition!

Pam’s home is a treasure. It is tastefully decorated, very clean and very well stocked. Our group of 9 had plenty of room to spread out but still enjoy everything the house has to offer. Also, the views were amazing!! We will definitely be back!

What a lovely and welcoming home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bethany and could not have asked for a better location. The house is beautiful with so many thoughtful touches and little extras. Our stay at Hassell Free

This place was everything we thought and more. The house was beautiful in a lovely quiet neighborhood, nice for short walks. It was a quick drive to the beach and we were thankful for Pam allowing us to use their beach chairs and umbrella. The rooms were very clean and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. Perfect place for families and friends. Pam and Jim were super responsive and helpful with all of our needs! We would definitely recommend this house to others.

Great Place to Spend NYE

My husband, our dog and I stayed at this beautiful, very clean and spacious house for NYE. The house was fully stocked with everything you will need. It is a beautiful and wonderfully decorated house. Pam was very responsive with any questions I had and she was in contact with me making sure things were going well. My husband and I will definitely be staying here again!

Gathering of life long friends

Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Beautiful home, spotless, comfortable and spacious. Easy walk to beach. Most well equipped rental ever. Constant care and communication from owners. Just bring beach towels and yourself! Great kitchen for preparing meals. Multiple areas for seating. Dining room table accommodated 10 of us perfectly. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Perfect house on the bay

We absolutely loved our stay at this perfect beach house. With six bedrooms and three full baths, our family had ample sleeping accommodations. Several sitting areas and plentiful dining spots were made even more beautiful by all the water views. The beach decor and colors were chosen to create a relaxing vibe, and the house is truly stocked with everything you could want or need. The house had two refrigerators, a grill outside, and every pot or pan to prepare meals for our large family. The shed with bikes and beach chairs meant we didn’t need to bring our own, and linens were provided. It was so easy to pack our suitcases and hop in the car and go! The owners are responsive and kind. They made the entire process smooth and pleasant. They even gave great directions to four different beaches within several miles, one of which was right across route 1 and never crowded.I loved the location in South Bethany on the bayside. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. If I ever owned a beach property, I would want it to be just like this one.

Fun Girls Weekend

This was a perfect house for 8 friends to gather,relax,cook and play games in. There was plenty of space for everyone and the water views were stunning. The owner was quick to reply to any questions we had. And the location was perfect for quick trips to the store or to restaurants or shopping. We were sad to leave but made some great memories!

My group of adult friends have been going to the Delaware beaches every year for 20 years. There was consensus this was our favorite rental. Beautiful home. Gorgeous views, spacious, numerous places to come together as a group and play board games or sit for a quiet chat. The kitchen has all the tools you need and a great island to gather around. The host, Pam, was so helpful. The location is ideal for walking to the beach or cozying up with a good book and view of the water. Five stars.

This was a beautiful home. It was the best equipped kitchen in any rental I have ever seen. There are plenty of supplies for fun activities- puzzles, games, books, bicycles, croquet, etc. The owners are welcoming and responsive. I would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful home wonderful vacation!!

What an amazing property! We were blown away at the space, the layout and the community. The fenced yard was a treat to have for the kids to roam and. It worry about traffic. The neighborhood is so quiet and nice to walk around at sunsets. The state park was the easiest beach to access with bathrooms and easy access from the house. The space and layout of the house was worth being on the bayside! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The perfect bay-side beach house in quiet neighborhood & walking distance to the beach

"Hassel" Free was the perfect beach house for our stay! We enjoyed the bay-side neighborhood, fenced-in yard for our dog, outdoor shower, various seating areas, games, general accommodations, and walking to the beach. This house is very well-equipped with anything you could need, which made for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the natural light and bay views. With plenty of bedrooms and living space, we look forward to returning with more family and friends in the future!

Perfect home - feels like love

We booked this amazing home and even before the trip we loved all the pictures. But I must say the pictures do not give it justice. This home has so many spots to enjoy time together all with great views. You can tell an amazing loving family owns this home. The home owners where nothing but amazing and sweet. The shed was full of bikes and beach items. The home was so well organized. And the outside shower was magical! I highly recommend this home. I hope to rent again in the near future.

Simply lovely!

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at this beautiful and relaxing cottage! The owners have thought of everything; the house is charming and welcoming; we didn't want to leave. So many extras...including an Amazon Echo, cozy blankets, and a huge selection of books. Plenty of comfortable spaces for chatting, napping, reading; and the views are spectacular. The master suite is just gorgeous. Easy access to Bethany, Rehoboth and OC; plenty of restaurants to choose from. We loved this cottage and cannot wait to return!
