Great location, and an amazing home. All the amenities you can think of and need. Very prompt and clear communication by Lena. We had an absolutely enjoyable stay.
Great communication and a great place to stay for a big family. We paid extra for the linen and towels which made our stay even easier. The house was very warm and we loved having the fire going.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has a spacious kitchen and lounge, stunning view, and a high standard of cleanliness. It was also warm and cosy. What we loved most was the thoughtful design of the toilets/bathrooms, with each bathroom situated between two bedrooms. This was especially convenient for our two families, as each family could enjoy their own private space.
We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. The house was perfect for our group of three couples and one single with plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The seating around the amazing wood fire was a real highlight and made for cosy evenings together. The kitchen was well set up and had everything we needed to cook for a group, making meal times easy and enjoyable. Having two bathroom was an extra bonus. A great place to stay with friends, would highly recommended!
Excellent house to host a multi generation gathering. Plenty of space to have the older generation at one end of living area and plenty of space for younger ones to run around outside and play games at other end of living room . We also liked having two bedrooms at seperate ends of the house . House was very toasty with fire going and held heat well overnight .Very spacious kitchen and dining area .We would love to come back in the summer as an extended family as Ohakune gives lots of options to cover all interests .Thank you Lena for providing a wonderful spot for Mums 80th celebration
Fantastic place to stay. Lots of room, comfy sofas and beds. Kitchen fully equiped, so could easily stay for a week, cook full meals etc. Hot hot water and fantastic water pressure. Loved having a fire place, but the house is very warm even without it. We had a great time, loved the house and loved Ohakune - biking, walking, eating out and a great op shop too!
Perfect for us two families with kids, priceless view of the mountain. Cosy, clean, location top notch. Owner friendly to deal with, thanks we’d definitely would love to come back and stay there again some time in the future.
We loved this property - had everything we needed to cook for our combined families, was low-mainenance and nice open plan with plenty of space, had lots of books and toys for the kids plus family DVDs, and watching the sunrise across the beautiful view (but also with privacy) and the logburner going was bliss. The only other thing we could have wished for was a spa pool ;) Would love to stay here again!
Great flexibility from Lena to access the property. Magical views of Mt Ruapehu. Excellent deck, kitchen & living area to cater for large family gathering. Walkway to town was easy to find.
Spacious, well appointed, clean house with beautiful views. Great communication from the host who went the extra mile at each contact point. The house is really warm and well considered for guests.
Big place, perfect for groups, ideally located. We were four adults and four kids - the house is massive and easily accommodates indoor activities but equally has a great deck and total views despite being walking distance from town.
A beautiful spot to stay in Ohakune, close by to town and Ruapehu. Nice quiet street, house has plenty of space and is nicely equipped for family with kids, and an amazing host too. Would definately stay again. Thanks Lena!
