Beautiful historic home located five minutes from downtown Dallas in the community of Lakewood.
Nice walk to restaurants, shopping, groceries, Starbucks and entertainment. This newly remodeled unit is on the ground floor with close street parking and an outdoor patio.

The space: This roomy 650 square foot, fully furnished unit features one bedroom with a queen
bed, desk, closet and plenty of storage. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room as well.
The apartment has recently been remodeled and has granite countertops, new appliances, new washer and dryer, wifi and a large flat screen TV with satellite and movie channels.

The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you might need to cook a meal, as well as premium coffee, tea and bottled water.
In the bathroom you will find shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry
detergent and a hair dryer.

A private patio area has a table and chairs and a barbeque on request. This beautifully styled unit is located in a quiet neighborhood minutes from everything Dallas has to offer and is close to freeways and public transportation. Whether business or pleasure brings you to Dallas, this comfortable apartment provides you with everything you will need to feel instantly at home. Thank you in advance for respecting our house rules. Please note that parties or events, pets and smoking of any kind are not allowed in the unit or on the property. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am and we do not rent to anyone under 25.

My friend and I were coming to Dallas for a girls weekend and we booked this cute place to stay. The check-in was easy and Mrs. Judy was a pleasure to deal with. Fantastic Dallas getaway!

This property is perfect for a couples getaway. It's on a very quiet street, but easy access to multiple restaurants and shopping (5-10 minute drive) as well as downtown Dallas. The space is tastefully decorated and is very comfortable with wifi/air conditioning/washer/dryer. Judy is a gracious host and communications were always prompt. Parking is on the street, but it's abundant and we never had a issue finding a space close by. Would definitely recommend this property and will rebook on any future visits to Dallas.

Excellent stay. Judy was super nice and friendly. Due to the weather my flight was cancelled and I wasn’t able to check in on the first night. Judy was super understanding. The apartment was conveniently located to my desired area. It was easily accessed to major highways. I was traveling by myself and I always felt safe in the apartment. The apartment was as shown in the pictures cute and comfortable. The bed was on the softer side but very comfortable to me. Easy contact with the owner when I had a question about the heater. Will stay again if ever need the area again. Excellent experience for the two weeks there.

Just what the doctor ordered!

My husband and I came in from NW Arkansas for my surgery and needed a quiet, restful place and boy was this just the ticket! It was close to my Dr. and had so many wonderful things close by yet even by a busy road it was soooo quiet and such a neat neighborhood! Loved having Whole Foods and many cute restaurants available as we really didn’t want to drive far …. My husband brought his trike to ride the trails a little and was so happy to see that we were very close to several - we tried places like the Garden Cafe ( adorable ) and the soft bed felt perfect for recovery - can’t recommend this place enough and will be back soon! Judy was an amazing host and helped us with anything we needed!

A Quaint Neighborhood Getaway

The property is so cute and I never thought a cow rug could be so soft. The owners were so helpful on Thursday night arriving there late and got us in, showed us around. For living very close to other neighbors it's a very laidback and calm street, it is next to a main road but there is quite a bit of separation from that street and the one the house is located on. I would say if you plan on eating out or ordering in check the book on the table. Also if you plan on eating out get a reservation or you'll never get in. The little kitchen is perfect for cooking what you need and plenty of room in the fridge. The washer and dryer came in handy with our little one and she got to meet one of the neighbors and their dog when we were walking and they're not too far from a few parks if you need a place to take your kiddo, the aquarium was also nice. It's a great price for all the things that you won't get in a hotel room, it's quaint, quiet and has so much character and I couldn't help but notice a pretty painting in the bathroom that reminded me a little of Richard Simmons but super cute and super sweet Host/Hostess.

I have been a native of the Dallas area my entire life. My husband and I bought this 105 year old house in 1980 and have spent the last
38 years restoring it. I am an artist and my husband is a builder and we raised our five children in this house. We enjoy meeting people from all over the country and sharing our home with them.

Why they chose this property

This home is a beautiful historic home in the Junius Heights historical district. It's 105 years old, but has been completely updated. Even though we are very close to downtown Dallas, the neighborhood is relatively quiet. This house is in one of the most beautiful parts of Dallas, with the arboretum and fair park minutes away. Lakewood Country Club is one mile away with a golf course, dining and swimming.

What makes this property unique

We are located minutes from Deep Ellum, where music, great food, nightlife and festivals abound. Lakewood also boasts many great restaurants within walking distance of our home.
