Fenced in back yard for peace of mind for harried parents and pet owners. Fully furnished; just bring you personal items. Family friendly; not fru-fru but completely comfortable. Easy access to beach, shopping and restaurants, but a perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

Great location

Owners and house manager responded to us quickly. The yard was perfect for our dog and grand kids. Plenty of sitting areas for our group. Location was close to everything we needed.

Comfortable stay in 'family' home

Staying at the ReJoyce House was like visiting Grandma's house. Sure, there were some things that could use an update, but it was cozy & comfortable and had plenty of room for our adult family of 5 to host Thanksgiving with our 3 inlaws. Plus they saved our holiday by booking us at the last minute when our previous booking fell through.

This home is quite adequate in terms of room, with 4 bedrooms, spacious kitchen / dining area, and plenty of room for socializing. A very comfortable stay! Family Weekend

We were in the Bay St Louis area for my Father’s memorial service and being able to all be together was so nice! Plenty of beds, sitting space, toys for the Grandson, great back porch for some LSU baseball, and a well stocked kitchen for all the eating. Only thing to note is the thermostat takes a minute to figure out and seems to be controlled by owners. But overall great stay!

Overall a great house

The house was a great size for 7 people. There is a leak in the hallway that we were unable to locate the source. The house is a great distance from anything you would want to go to as far as attraction and beaches.

Felt right at home on vacation

This property is exactly as the owners described it. Our group was 4 adults, 1 surly teen and 2 rambunctious 7 year old boys and there was plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (except a cutting board), there were eplenty of wash cloths and towels for everyone and the back patio area was the perfect place to relax in the evenings. It's located in a safe and quiet neighborhood just minutes from Highway 90 and everything Bay St. Louis has to offer. We will definitely be renting the house again in the future!

We definitely ReJoyced!

This house was perfect. I had looked over it in the past because I just wasn’t sure about it. Don’t overlook it! This house is clean, very roomy and comfortable! It has everything you need. Plenty of towels, pots, pans, dishes, appliances. The backyard is great. The neighborhood was quiet. It’s not a far drive from the beach either. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you guys for everything.

Great little big-house getaway

The listing doesn't do justice for the size. Not that it's really big, just plenty of room to be cozy. Back patio and yard were nice to spend mornings on with coffee and quiet (except for the train-which is thankfully short lived). Lots of outlets, TV/Tech ready, lots of blankets, beds were OUTSTANDINGLY comfortable. Being residential, easy to lose the feeling of being being close to downtown Bay St Louis and just across the bridge to Long Beach and the other way to New Orleans. Perfect go between location! Missed the dishwasher but it gives one a chance to partner again with family tasks. Keep this bookmarked.

Great weekend getaway

My family and I try to make one beach trip a year all together around my birthday with is also near the end of summer. This one was last minute and I am so glad we found this place! We were three generations plus fur babies. The house was homey, like we were visiting family. All the furniture was comfortable. Plenty of room to stretch out. Great neighborhood. Convenient to everything but quiet. No constant traffic. The bed I slept in was super comfortable (the master) No one else complained so they must all be. Plenty of towels for everyone. Lots of blankets. I didnt have a dishwasher for many years and now that I do, I rarely use it. Not having a dishwasher in this house was no biggie. My granddaughter especially appreciated the toys. We had a grand time playing games. It was scorching hot outside so it was nice to have some indoor activities. My daughter and I were planning our return before we left! The deck would be great to dine on once it cools off a bit. It was too hot to try the grill unfortunately. All the 5 star reviews are what made me choose this house. I encourage you to do the same if you are looking for something low key and pet friendly

A visit to the beach

We stayed here for my mom's 70th birthday. The house was clean and neat in a nice neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our party of 9. It was close to the beach which was our main reason for staying there.

Our stay was amazing, everything you could need was in this home. We were treated like family. Spacious, clean, well stocked home. Plenty of room for big families. If I’m ever that way again I would definitely stay here.

Comfortable and perfect for our family

My Aunt, Uncle, mother and I visited Bay St. Louis and wanted a place with 4 bedrooms and a fenced yard. This was perfect for our needs. Everything was well-stocked and clean. The location was convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with our coffee in the mornings. I highly recommend this home.

Family Mardi Gras Trip

This is the second year we have rented this property for a New Orleans Mardi Gras Visit. The place is as advertised, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again next year!

Beach stay 2024.

Most everything you could possible eed to stay at the beach for 2 weeks and not need to eat out all the time. The finced back yard was a hit with my daughters 2 dogs. Would book again

My wife and I own this home. I grew up here and love the location and The Bay. We do not want to sell and decided to share our home with others. We live away and only down for random weekends.
We offer at a low price not to make money, but to cover the expenses it takes to maintain the home and property. The house is named after my mother Joyce.

Why they chose this property

This property is located on one of the highest points of the gulf coast. It survived Camille and Katrina with minimal damage.
We love bringing our grandchildren here. With the fenced backyard and the closeness of the beach, they have the best of both worlds without the fear of water or cars.
House is 95% remodeled. We have recently updated the kitchen with new appliances and the floors in the main part of the house.

What makes this property unique

Close to downtown bay, casinos, New Orleans, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs. Quiet neighborhood. Located on a dead end street. Majority of the neighbors have resided there their entire life.
