Bayou bliss

Great property, Clean, beautiful bayou/canal, setting with fishing, kayaks, and a deck to lounge on. Close to downtown Bay, St. Louis, Gulfport and Biloxi. Many, many great southern restaurants with Cajun food and oysters. Lots of golf courses and things to do on the beach.

Great stay at Boudreaux's on the bayou😊Very smartly decorated and clean. Open floor plan, screened porch, and open deck provided plenty of room to entertain nearby family. Shopping and interstate convenient.I hope to be able to spend a month next time.

I can't say enough good things about this place, or it's owners. My husband and two sons and I had such a nice relaxing time, and my husband really enjoyed fishing off the dock. The house was comfortable, clean, and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Great rental. Clean, comfortable, cozy, quiet, great location to the area, very reasonable priced, nicely furnished. Just a nice place to relax, slow down, and enjoy. We all loved the screened porch, and large deck. It would be hard to find a better place to stay in this area for the price. Owner very easy to work with. We have found a new designation location when we travel to this area. We will return.

Love the home on the bayou!

Our 11 night stay was incredible. It was our first time in Mississippi so there was much to see and do. Jody was wonderful to work with - quick to respond, gracious and friendly. The home is as pictured, but even better. We loved grilling on the deck, kayaking on the bayou, talking with neighbor, Billy, running into New Orleans a few times, shopping in Bay St. Louis and seeing the lovely Angel Trees that were carved after Katrina. The yogurt at Purple Banana is very tasty. We golfed the course at Hollywood Casino and then had lunch at the Casino Buffet. We also curled up on the sofa a few times to catch Olympic action on the TV. All the necessities are there and the beds are comfy. Thank you, thank you Jody and Britt for such a comfortable home.

Mississippi Getaway

The house is as advertised! Very cute well appointed and well stocked home on the channel. Jody is very responsive to any and all communication. The fridge was impossible to control the temp and froze all the fruits and vegetables (my husband was not upset as that meant he didn’t have to eat vegetables!!) and the cushion on the couch with the white cover kept coming off the couch making it nearly impossible to sit. The home is very tastefully decorated and other than the white covered couch, quite comfortable. The hotel style shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the showers were a nice touch. Overall we thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!!!

Wonderful Time!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Despite some flooding in the area when we arrived due to rains the previous week, it quickly receded after a couple of days and we could see and reach the dock again. The fishing was not as good as what we anticipated but the neighbors assured us that there were plenty of fish in the canal but we were a bit early in the season - about two weeks early for the really good fishing. We had brought our kayaks and enjoyed paddling around the area. We were fortunate to see a few alligators as we don't have them up north so it was fun to see them. We recommend Pearl River Eco Tours where we learned a tremendous amount from our guide about alligators and other animals and plants that call the bayou and swamp home. The area in general is beautiful. Bay St. Louis is a wonderful little town with great shops and restaurants. The waterfront is also gorgeous. We won't forget our visit and highly recommend a stay at this cottage. The neighbors living by the cottage are friendly and the little dog next door, Tucker, was a delight to have around - he frequently joined us out in the yard and on the dock. This was our second summer staying at this Bay St. Louis home, and it was just as great as the first! It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The house has three comfortable bedrooms, plus a blow-up mattress which came in handy. It’s fully stocked with everything we needed kitchen supplies, towels, linens, and even fishing gear and traps!We loved the screened-in porch and large front porch great places to sit and unwind. The quiet neighborhood made it feel peaceful and private, but we were still just a few minutes from Walmart and the beach, so everything was super convenient.The private dock was a huge bonus, especially since we brought our boat. We really appreciated having easy water access and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.We’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped stay in Bay St. Louis.

Great location!

The location was close to most attractions. The house was very quiet and peaceful. There was very little traffic on the street or the canal. The house could use some maintenance on the deck.

Quiet, peaceful and comfortable

Spent Father's Day weekend with my parents, their dog, and 2 cousins and had more than enough room inside and outside for all of us. Our dog made friends with the neighbors' dogs and enjoyed himself as well. Good wifi, all the kitchen basics and a washer and dryer made the stay even better. There are 2 sets of stairs. The ones in the back of the house aren't as steep as those in the front so you probably want to bring luggage, grocery, etc. up the back stairs.

Cottage Definately has Charm!
