One bedroom two bathroom Master Suite In the five-star Playa Grande Resort.

The suites are built into a mountain above the rest of the resort. They overlook the ocean in one direction and the marina, downtown Cabo and Bahia San Lucas from the other direction. The Ridge has a private infinity pool complex with swim up bar and restaurant just for guest staying in suites. Guest also have access to the 4 other pool areas and many restaurants.

Frustration

A frustrating beginning to our trip. A couple weeks before our trip the property manager informed us that he had misread (?) our request and start date was one day earlier. We had already made airline reservations and new date was unacceptable. He was able to change the start date back to the original. When we arrived at the resort we were told that there were no rooms available in the section of the resort that was specified in the VRBO website. A room in the lower section of the resort was assigned to us. After a long conversation with several members of the desk people we were able to get a room in the area we had requested, but would have to spend the first day in the assigned room before we could move to the requested area. The room assigned in the requested area was only "okay", but certainly not to the standards we are use to having with our RCI membership.

Playa Grande Resort and Grand Spa

Transaction went smoothly, people were friendly. Food, beverages and events were a bit on the pricey side. Suite rates were good. Shuttle to and from airport was good.
