STAY AT STEPS AND HAVE FUN BOATING, FISHING ETC...

It's nice living by the water! It's calm and peaceful! The peace and tranquility it brings is beautiful.

This is a 3 BR lake house located right on the water. The bedrooms are spacious and sleeps 6 persons. (suite 3 has a king bed, queen in suite 1, and twin beds in suite 2). Wi-Fi and cable included. Fully furnished kitchen that includes coffee maker, microwave, and dishes serving up to six. Washer/dryer in laundry room provided.

Enjoy knowing you may park your boat, trailer and vehicles on a nice private driveway! Easy access to boat slips located at Lake Nasworthy!

Please note 2 adults per bedroom only. We do not put more than 8 people (6 adults or 4 adults and up to 4 children)in our lake house for an overnight stay.

No long walks as you can literally step into the water with your canoe, tubes . Enjoy swimming, canoeing, boating, tubing, day or night fishing on an exquisite dock that overlooks a splendid view of Lake Nasworthy. Lower dock has hitches to dock your boat on the water.

Private patios with gas grill, BBQ pit and wood burning pit. Outdoor furniture on the patios and dock. Enjoy having dinner right over the water on the dock!

This lake house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Responsible friends and families only!

Great weekend getaway!

This property was a great place to stay for the weekend, the amenities were spot on. Great location to the grocery store for quick runs. Access to the lake was quick amd easy with a public boat ramp just around the corner. Thanks for the hospitality we certainly enjoyed the property.

Wonderful

Everyone enjoyed the time there we were all comfortable the dock over the water was great and so peaceful. We rented a boat and was easy to hook to the dock. Played with the on-site toys

Relaxing family time on the lake!

We loved this location on the lake. Our adult children met my husband & I here for the weekend for a wedding. I wish we could've stayed one more day! We enjoyed drinking coffee on the dock in the morning, and enjoying sitting outside in the evening with the pretty lights Ana has strung up! It was just so peaceful and relaxing! We had fun taking the paddle boat and kayak out for spin. There was plenty of places to sit and relax outside. We would like to return and take advantage of the grill outside.

Anniversary Vacation

We spent 6 wonderful nights at Steps and LOVED it. It's a beautiful property, pictures do not do it justice by far. Home away from home, plenty of shopping near by and did not want to leave. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the back porch, listening to the sounds of the lake. Grilled out steaks and enjoyed the comfort of home. Had a blast fishing right off the dock! Anna & Richard are wonderful hosts, made sure everything was in place, prompt communication and felt like we'd known them for years. I'd give it 10 stars if that was possible. Looking forward to going back!!

My paradise

The best VRBO I have stayed at. It is true that it is just steps from the water. My husband, my sister, and I needed a place we could go relax and have fun. Fishing is my favorite activity. We caught numerous catfish. It is a beautiful place to sit outside and the yard is immaculate. Anna was available any time we had questions and upon arrival shared all the information we would need for our stay. We text her a few times just to let her know how much we were enjoying ourselves and pictures of our fish. This home was the best I have ever stayed at as far as feeling at home and was very clean and accommodating. Anna made us feel welcomed and we felt like we could call her at any time during our stay. This was truly the paradise we needed to rest, relax, and enjoy ourselves. Thank you Anna for sharing your home.

Beautiful Views

The lake house is great and very peaceful. We enjoyed the views. We didn't use any of the equipment because most of it was pretty dirty after sitting all winter long. I tried to put one life vest on my 3 year old but the zipper was broken and it Super dirty. My daughter loved the hammock swing. She probably spent the most time out of anyone. The owner made sure the bedding and towels were freshly laundered and I appreciate that. I thought Mrs Anna was very kind and really thought about all the things we would need. We did a phone call walk through of the home at check-in which pointed out various controls, remotes, Alexa and the grills. A cold front moved in the area on the second night we were there and she dropped by to leave us some comforters in case we got cold. There were a few functionality issues with the remote to the lights and ceiling fans in the main living and dining area. I think it was low on battery but of course it wasn't just a AA battery, it was a special size that wasn't in the house. Our only complaint was how dirty the house was. It's an old house and could use some updating in the bathroom and kitchen. My 3 year old son didn't want to sit in the bathtub during his baths so we just gave him quick showers. The air vents had dust and cobwebs hanging from them and the light fixtures hadn't been dusted in a long while. The drawers in the kitchen were old and not on a track so if you pulled one out too far, the whole thing would fall. We had to hand wash about a dozen bowls and plates straight out of the cupboard. Some just had dust but some had old food. The tile floors were constantly dirty to the point none of us wanted to walk around barefoot. We spent some time sweeping daily. The nest thermostat was on a schedule which we found out after coming back one evening to a warm house. My mom stayed with my family and when Mrs Anna came to drop off blankets, she politely told her that she should get a new house cleaner but other than that it was fine. My overall opinion was I'm sure this home has been in better condition for other renters. I guess just because it had sat without anyone for the whole winter a few of the cleaning details were looked over. Mrs Anna is very sweet and I feel like I talked to her on the phone more before the rental and during than I had any other host in the handful of other vacation rentals we've stayed in. My husband thought it was a bit overboard.

Nice place by the lake

In town to attend a wedding. Decided to make a mini-vacation of it and enjoy ourselves. Very pleasant backyard space on the lake. Kids loved the swing on the dock and playing in the water. The rest of us enjoyed the fantastic sunrises and quiet evenings by the water. The islands create a barrier from the main body of the lake and it's a no wake zone so no high speed boat traffic nearby.

Relaxing Stay

This is our second time staying here and we truly loved it!! The house has all the amenities needed and then some. The convenience of just steps to the water is awesome! We spent most of our time in the back yard. Whether fishing from the dock, kayaking, paddle boating or being out on our boat, the deck space allowed us easy access to all these activities. Anna is always a pleasure to work with and we will definitely stay here again. Sooo Relaxing!!!

The lake house was perfect for our family gathering

Our family had not been together in 3 years. Our mom is 91 and we wanted to all be together with her. The lake house was the perfect venue. There were plenty of places for everyone to hang out either inside or outside. The water was great and it was easy to float around the doc and get wet when it got to hot. The house was well furnished and most everything you needed in the kitchen. The grounds were lovely. So happy we were able to be at the lake in this lovely home.

Great Staycation

Wonderful location for a local staycation. Everything we needed to relax and recharge. We sat outside every morning and watched the neighbor leave to go fishing and then we watched the skiers on the lake in the evening. We will be back.

Cute place!

We had a great time here. The place was clean with plenty of room to relax. Perfect setup for a lake getaway. The dock is perfect for fishing and general leisure with plenty of chairs and even a few swings. The second story to the deck was a perfect spot to catch the sunset over the lake. The owner was super friendly and communication was great.

Was nervous felt spied on

When we where given the the code it was wrong purposely when we called she gave us the right code...we needed the wifi because the one on display is a decoy when I asked her what it was her response was I purposely hide information in the closet she said I do this because if you don't call me I don't want you in my house...I was soo creeped out by that . wants to describe where everything is at .including how to use a coffee maker..omg!!!..i can see for myself im 50 years old ..including light switches asking me what to turn on and asking where to go what to do asking where are you now repeating my name ..I was soo creeped out..I just went with it because I didn't want to ruin it for my grandkids ..I was never comfortable after a 20 minute run-down about the house was lived in for 30 years raised her kids...went outside webbs everywhere outside. killed 2 black spiders inside ...I felt like being watched I was also asked to sign a waiver and send to her stating not responsible for any accidents or even death...with other added fees just in case that where not on the vrbo contract...I rent out houses too and own 2 homes..I know the protocol..but I would never make some one feel like this for just a 2 day rental at almost 700 ..the drawers In Kitchen has wobbly cabinets ...nothing is modern except for 2 elexa speakers that I disconnected because extra charge if anything happens to them ..why are they there??..only the king bed was comfortable..the layout is also weird..I did my best to make my family enjoy the time there but after all that I couldn't..

Spacious lakefront paradise!

This is a beautiful property that is literally just as its name says - steps from the water. Once you arrive, there is so much to enjoy from the paddle boat to the kayaks to the lawn games and more! Fish from the dock and test your skills on the array of grills available to cook what you catch. Two days of rest and relaxation plus fun with the family made this a truly memorable getaway. The only thing we would change... is to stay three days!
