Family holiday

I had read previous reviews of this property and was worried that we had made a poor choice but was pleasantly surprise. The property was very clean and comfortable in a great location.

One bedroom had no AC and no overhead fan. One bedroom bed sags in the middle. Key lockbox needs updating. Only one set of house keys.

Family stay

very well situated. Nice garden. the house size is confortable and suitable for a family. but the house is not maintained. it really needs refreshment. double beds are very bad. difficult to sleep in it. kitchen ustensiles were very dirty like the kitchen in general ( cupboards) and the house in general ( under the beds, inside the closets, behind furniture …) plumbing needs also to be changed. nothing for cleaning : the broom was disgusting. and the vacuum in bad shape. no Mop the washing machine is too aged. it uses hot water so after two laundries you don’t have hot water for showers any more the bed linens are also very poor ( quilts ) but we enjoyed being able to share this time with our family after two years of Covid ( we are coming from France )

Hello Fabrice, We are very sorry for your experience. We are thankful that you have let us know the problems so we could rectify them. All the beds have been changed and new linen supplied. Unfortunately it happened on the day you left. The mop, broom and vaccum have been replaced and I wish we had known it earlier during your stay and we could have helped you sooner. The cleanliness, again we are sorry we could have cleaned it for you and I apologise that we did not. We have had so many changes of guests during the past 6 months, that sometimes the cleaner misses things, which is not an excuse. We are absolutely mindful of this and it has all been thoroughly cleaned. The washing machine has a few different settings and this can be confusing. We take this review very seriously and always try to make the property better. It is only ever our intention for our guests to have a wonderful time. We are available 24hours 7 days a week to help resolve any issues. Kind regards Kerry

East Ballina visit

The property was a good size in a wonderful location close to many beaches and great walks. Property could do with a slight upgrade as I found the decor and some furniture a little dated.

Property is spacious and in an accessible area. 70's decor. Could do with a professional clean occasionally rather than always relying on tenants. But a great house & we would stay there again.

Perfect Location

Perfect location for a family holiday Alexander Palms met all our needs as a group of 4 adults and two boys. For the boys it was a short distance from great surfing in Lighthouse beach whilst we adults enjoyed our walk overlooking Shaws bay and on the north wall each morning before breakfast. A well appointed house with all appliances working beautifully. The Weber bbq was very popular and the large back yard could accommodate both sun bakers and our footy enthusiasts. The sunroom became a favourite spot for reading and relaxing away from the general living area and large tv . Belle General and The Lighthouse cafe are close by and the food is good.

Well located 70s house getting tired

3 blocks from the beach makes it a great starting place for walks in any direction. Bring bicycles for more fun further afield. building needs loving with new paint and fittings. Everything worked. Guests felt comfortable. Only room for 4 at breakfast table and no dining room. Beds good.

We have added a further 2 dining chairs giving you 6 with a lovely glass table, positioned in the dining room. We have also added free Wi-Fi & Telstra TV box.
