The hosts were amazing and everything we could need for the night was available. The full-size fridge was an added bonus. Getting to meet all of the animals was such a unique experience. Highly recommend!

We liked that it was out in the country, but it was close to town as well.
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. My wife and I both agree that staying here was the highlight of our trip to Louisiana. Its a very quiet location and perfect for people who want to unwind.
The apartment was clean and as advertised. This was our 2nd stay here and we enjoy the country setting. The hosts are very personable. We look forward to staying here again.
This was our first time staying here but we'll be booking again same time next year. It was very easy to find and easy to check in, especially since Gerard was out there to greet us. Gerard & Annette were both great and we got to enjoy all their farm buddies: the horses, the dogs (pet Trigger for us), cats and the chickens. It was nice and quiet & secure and that was was a big factor from staying in town.
We had such a wonderful stay here. Peaceful, comfortable. Our hosts are lovely people and we enjoyed chatting with them. My son was thrilled to be around all the farm animals. I was grateful for washer/dryer and the peace and quiet as we escaped the city life for a week. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
We had a great stay in a unique environment (to us). Chickens, horses, dogs, cats. It was amazing how clean and nicely decorated our place in the barn was! We had everything we needed. The grounds with the horse pastures were beautiful and looking out of the perfectly located windows onto the stunning view of horses grazing, trees and morning light was gorgeous! The hosts were very personable and we enjoyed talking with them. I would definitely return.

Dirty and unsafe conditions
To be fair there was a deep freeze. Not enough heat. Tap water had soil in it. Cooking pots were filthy and Teflon scratched (toxic). Very dirty. Had to fight for refund, left after first night (arrived in the evening). Would not return.
Really enjoyed our stay...being able to interact with all the animals was so nice...dogs, cats, chickens, and of course the horses... we loved getting to know Gerard and Annette, too!
The stay was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly kind. Their warm welcome and wonderful animals made the visit a peaceful and memorable break from a busy city life
ANNETTE et GERARD sont formidables ce sont des des personnes au grand cœur qui vous ouvre leur maison comme si vous étiez un membre de leur famille.Ce séjour à Scott restera comme nos meilleures vacances.Un grand merci a vous.
We were there to visit our grandchildren. Annette and Gerard were amazing very accommodating so nice. Animals were great. It was very relaxing and just a lot of fun. Will definitely be staying again.
Absolutely perfect location for us. Quiet, clean, safe location, and close to good Cajun food! We will be back! Thank you Gerard and Annette for allowing us to enjoy your farm animals!!
We got to meet a true legend in Gerard Melancon. He and his wife were great to talk to and gave us great suggestions for our trip to Evangeline Downs. Had a great time
A great place to experience small town Louisiana...hosts at warm and welcoming...property is unique...would be great for children who love animals...wonderful restaurants near by.

Fantastic property and such nice owners. Will return when in area. A
The property felt like you were in the middle of the great outdoors on a ranch. The property is beautiful and well-kept, the horses, ducks and, a few geese were all welcoming. The pond in the back was my serenity for sure. The little donkey even tried to speak to me on my way, so cute. I felt like a little kid, it was a well-needed break and, yet, 10 to 20 minutes to so many stores and resturaunts. The owners are the best!!
We brought our 6 year old granddaughter and she had a great time with the cats, chickens, horses and going to see the ducks.
Everything went well. We have stayed on the property before and have always had quick response when we needed anything. They are wonderful and we’ll stay there again if in the area.
