This beautifully renovated two bedroom unit on the first floor with air-conditioner, security screens, ceiling fans and inground pool and just a few steps away from the beach.

Walk to everything in Cotton Tree -  beach, river, restaurants, shops, library and clubs.  Visit trendy Ocean Street or shop at the Plaza - with over 200 specialty shops, cinemas and restaurants.

There's plenty to see and do!! Take a day trip to Fraser Island or visit some of our local attractions such as Australia Zoo, Sea Life at the Wharf, Aussie World, Ginger Factory, Maleny Bird Sanctuary, Bellingham Maze and the Maroochydore Botanical Gardens. Local markets are held every Sunday at Fisherman’s Road and Cotton Tree and the famous Eumundi markets on Saturdays and Wednesdays. 
Take a scenic cruise or hire a tinny or a BBQ pontoon and spend the day on the river.

Set beside the Maroochy River, the seaside suburb of Cotton Tree is a popular place for a picnic or BBQ and true to its name it is dotted with sprawling native cotton trees. There is a scenic coastal walk stretching from Cotton Tree that will take you to Alexandra Headland – a popular spot with surfers.

The location of this property is excellent; walking distance to Surf Club, Bowling Club, RSL, Cotton Tree shops and pool, bus to Sunshine Plaza and Mooloolaba, etc. Only downside is there is no outlook from the balcony and it is overlooked by other nearby apartments.

Overall, not a great value for money

Beautifully renovated, great location, quiet but … not worth the price with the issue we faced. Price per night is too high for the place that not including no linen(knew that ) but No towels we were not advised of that fact (towels are not linen common know). No hand soap, no hand towels. Old, inadequate and dust filled stand-up fan. A coffee plunger jug and an empty coffee-labelled container with no coffee in. Tea (box had only 2 English tea bags inside) but no milk. Dishwashing liquid bottle was empty. Wifi details were incorrect on the paperwork that came with the key. Both the network AND the password. Overall not a great value for money. Love the decoration in a living room though.

Please note that our units are not serviced like Airbnb apartments, which is why coffee, soaps, and washing liquid are not provided. The cost of our accommodation is priced fairly compared to other rentals in the area. Regarding the linen and towels, linen hire was advised when the booking was made, and it was stipulated that towels are part of the hire. We regret the oversight in not providing clear communication about the towel inclusion and have updated this on the property description. Wi-Fi details were provided to you promptly and updated on all future paperwork.

6 Kalyan Cotton Tree

A reasonably renovated apartment within 100m of the beach and shopping strip. Walk up 1 level. Balcony has sun most of the day and has 2 pull down blinds if heat is too much. Bedrooms are big enough. Could comfortably accommodate 2 couples or a 2 child family. WiFi is good. No Foxtel or Netflix which can be boring if staying for long periods. Does not come with a parking space which caused issues during school holidays and Easter. Cotton Tree is very handy to restaurants, shopping and cafes as well as lots of takeaway shops. Had a great holiday with the only negative being no allocated park and climbing stairs for those with knee problems.

Good value great location

This apartment was all about location. The older walk up block of apartments is nothing to look at from the outside but inside is a light filled, modern, tasteful living space. We especially appreciated the sun on the balcony in the afternoon on cool winters days. Bedding was a bit sparse and we needed to use the quilt from the second bedroom and both grows to sleep warm. We also left the heating on overnight to be warm enough in bed. He kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery and all we needed for self catering for most of our meals. There was no hair dryer. We would very happily stay here again.

Ticks all the Boxes

Great location, leave the car and a very short walk to the beach, Cotton Tree shops, bowls and surf club, local pool complex, river. Small block of units and very quiet. Excellent recently updated inclusions (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc) it even has chrome cast so you can stream from your device to the large colour TV. Comfortable bed and lounge. Probably the best place to stay in Maroochydore. Highly recommended.

Nice Apartment in great location

We stayed about 2 weeks in this apartment. The check in wasn't that smooth, cause we tried to contact the property manager upfront but nobody replied. So we didn't know where to get the key. When we arrive in Australia and finally called them, they were only open one more hour, so we have been in a rush to get there in time. Think it is easy for locals but when you are foreign arriving from an outside country, this is not easy to handle. When we arrived the balcony was really dirty but the apartment itself was spotless clean. As the towel and linen need to be brought or rented we just bought them at K-Mart, cheaper than renting (more than 65 Dollar). The apartment offers cooking things but no groceries like oil, soap, tissue, washing liquid,... the plates could be more. So you still need to buy all. But the apartment has nice furnitures and is in good location close to some cafes, shops, bakery and really close to the ocean. The wifi is good and stable. There is only one AC in the living room and if you open the windows the sound of the roller blind is annoying. All in all some little things could be improved, but we enjoyed our stay there and felt home.
