Harbourside, 13/ 3-7 Soldiers Point Road - fantastic waterfront unit

Positioned on the top left hand corner of the complex, Unit 13 has stunning views looking straight through the headlands and a fabulous wrap-around balcony to make the most of the winter sun and the summer breezes. Located on the waterfront, it is very relaxing sitting back watching the children play on the sand and in the water or observe the curious dolphins that cruise by close to the shore so you can get that perfect photo.

The apartment has been a favourite for many families over the years as it has three bedrooms, ensuite, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, internal laundry with washing machine and dryer and parking for one car. WiFi and a new Smart TV has recently been added, guests can access Stan, Netflix, Prime Video and You Tube by logging into their own accounts.

You can relax on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful views.

Soldiers Point offers a fantastic boat ramp, fishing and crab spots, Marina with superb restaurants, tennis courts straight across the road from the Harbourside complex, local store and cafes - the locals call Soldiers Point gods country

Million dollar view

Comfortable unit with a million dollar view. Soak it up from the sunny balcony or the shelter of the lounge. Short stroll to the marina for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at The Deck was a bonus.

Ok for short stay

Tidy older unit could do with upgrade, BBQ advertised but has been removed. Easy walk to marina for breakfast or dinner. Great view but morning sun means keep the blinds down. Good little beach

The property owners decided to get rid of the BBQ as some guests were not looking after it and cleaning up after use. This was removed from the property listing before you booked, perhaps you saw it advertised before it was removed. There are public BBQs in nearby parks that can be used. The owners have renovations planned for the unit to improve it for their holiday guests.

Beautiful Place!

The area is stunning! Beautiful views from the balcony. Everything was very clean. Some of the furnishings and fittings were a bit worn, but everything worked as it should. We had a small issue with the linen we booked, but the agent sorted it out very quickly. Lots of restaurants and interesting little shops in the nearby areas. All within 15 minutes’ drive. We will definitely be back!

Great location but....

Property is tied, needs a good refresh and a deep clean of windows. It was howevervgood value. Fantastic spot and view was amazing but we found the beach too weedy for swimming so had to drive to better beach.

Why

The accommodation was well presented, views fantastic. Negatives- not told about assigned parking & unable to read numbers on parking spaces. No lift meant carrying luggage down 1 set of stairs & up 3 more sets of stairs to our accommodation then reversing the process to leave.

Lovely location and view

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The unit is spacious,the kitchen well equipped. The crockery needs an update as there are chips and cracks on mugs and bowls. Two things need fixing: in the main bedroom the knob for the fan falls off and makes it difficult to use; and the side lamp in the living room has broken struts on the shade. The cleaning was fairly good, but dust on the shutters and lamp bases. All in all, we were happy and would recommend it.

Great place to stay, right on the water and very spacious, just be aware that this has 4 flights of stairs one down 3 up, if you have older people with you it may be harder with luggage. Would drfinitely stay here again just my little family or with friends. Be sure to pack tea towels & oven mits as there are none

Nice unit with difficult entrance

The property has a difficult entrance for taking in luggage and provisions. It is in inconvenient to have to pick up the key from Nelson Bay and to organise linen. The BBQ was not clean or in good order. The location and view from the unit are very good.

Best Value for money, Have no complaints

Fantastic view and very close to best boat ramp in Port Stephens. The Kitchen is well stocked with kitchen ware for home cooking (better than more expensive places we have stayed)The 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and laundry are all you need for a very comfortable home away from home. We don't want to go home so we booked for another longer stay before summer finishes. No need for air-con as a cool sea breeze comes straight through balcony doors (a north easterly wind that occurs regularly in summer with this location), plus all rooms have ceiling fans, the property is clean, practicable and well placed for a social and entertaining environment. bedrooms are at the rear of the unit away from noise, living areas at front taking in the fantastic view. Value for money you will not fault this place. I wish this was our investment property.

beautiful views

We loved the position of this property, the views were magic and so peaceful. The weather wasnt perfect but it was still good. The unit itself is nice with all the things you need but a bit shabby and dated plus having to bring our own linen and towels was disappointing as it meant a lot of extra luggage plus a lot of extra washing when home.
