We are Backroads Inn and Cabins. Our property lies in Echo Valley. 8 acres surrounded by National Forest. We are the essence of the Black Hills, yet minutes away from everything people come to see, like Mt Rushmore (2.4 miles) and Custer State Park (15 minutes).

Perfect for those looking for the economy of a studio with the privacy of a bedroom. The Miner's is a one-bedroom (queen) with an apartment-size kitchen, dining room and living room, which has a pull-out couch (full) and a fold-out chair (twin). There is a deck off the front with a private gas grill and our standard fire pit and horse swing. This cabin is best suited for a small family or a couple.

Cozy Cabin & Great Location

My wife and I only stayed two nights in the area, so we wanted something that was pretty centrally located to the popular activities, but also remote enough to have some solitude and this cabin definitely fit those needs. Overall, a nice little cabin that we would be happy to rent again.

Peace and solitude

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband and I to relax after a day of exploring the beauty of the area. The cabin was clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. It had everything we needed and was very close to town with restaurants and shops. Perfect spot to get away and enjoy the beauty of God's creation! Highly recommend!!
