This delightful cottage has been lovingly restored and stylishly appointed. You will enjoy beautiful ocean views from an elevated position, and it is ideally located close to the beach and shops. Location and space very good. Nicely appointed kitchen and house layout and would suit families and people avoiding stairs. Enjoyed our stay. A couple of rugs need replacing and shame we have 1 towel pp for the whole 5 days despite requesting an extra one each. Beach towels were under lock and key.

Prime location

We really enjoyed our stay. Pleasant surprise that there are water views from the front window! Ideal for our young family as we were so close to everything. There is a construction happening next door which we were unaware of, however we didn’t hear a thing as they were not operating during our stay. We also requested firewood prior to our stay as we stayed in April (wood provided May-Oct), and the property owners kindly provided for us. House is bigger than it looks online. Great stay!

Literally 5 mins walk to shops, pubs, cafes etc. unfortunately because we stayed in the middle of winter, a lot of shops were closed. The house itself was lovely, beautiful warm wood fire, electric blankets. But the back bedroom had only one side of electric blanket working.

Beautiful place and location

This is our 6th visit and I have to say much cleaner than the last stay. The only other thing is the mold on the curtains, walls and ceiling which is a major issue with people having asthma and allergies. Also still quite a lot of dust in the house that has not been attended too. Besides this it is a great place to stay, with walking distance to shops, beach and park.

The Perfect White House

My husband and I LOVED our stay at the White House. We had never been to Apollo Bay before and it was the perfect location. Easy walking distance to town but far enough away to feel like we had our space. Great location to base for the GOR drive. The house was ideal for our needs, we loved the fire place and the being able to see the ocean from the bed was so nice in the mornings. We will be back to stay here again. Getting access to the house was very easy too. We would highly recommend on staying here.

This was our second visit to The White House. Absolutely perfect location in easy walking distance to harbour, beach, eateries. House is well appointed, cosy and comfortable. Loved the fire and the bath! Highly recommended.

The floors weren't clean, we found wrappers and half-eaten biscuits under the coffee table. They also didn't provide any matches for the fire-place. Other than that, the place was cosy and well laid-out. Cold if you don't light the fire and keep it going all the time.

The White House was clean and cozy - I loved the wood burner...it really warms up the house on those chilly autumn evenings. The beds were comfortable, and plenty of space for the 6 of us to enjoy our weekend away in Apollo Bay.
