Welcome to Whalebone Ocean Cottages- 3 Bedroom Oceanside Cottage!

Located in south Nags Head at milepost 16.5, this contemporary 3-bedroom oceanside cottage is sure to please; with 2 Queen bedrooms and a bedroom with a Twin over Full bunk bed for accommodations for up to 8 guests. The oceanside cottage is also equipped with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking when you aren't going to the many nearby restaurants.

All of the cottages feature the KEES standard amenity package including soap amenity dispensers, K-Cup coffee makers, high quality linens and bath towels and free Wi-Fi access. Take advantage of the KEES Flex-Stay System where there are no check in day restrictions or mandatory 7 night minimums. Whether you want to take a dip in the custom concrete pool, grill out with family and friends or step out onto the beach, Whalebone Cottage Court offers it all!

Wonderful Trip

The property was everything as described. We were thrilled with the rental and plan on returning in future years, the process from finding the place through check in was seemless, and we will be using Kees and VRBO any time we return to the Outer Banks

The cottage was beautiful! It was conveniently located to everything we wanted/needed. Could not have picked a better location for our first time in the OBX and our first visit to the ocean 🌊

Comfortable Cottage

Cottage had a nice layout, convenient to the beach, comfortable beds/ rooms, and clean. Gave 4 starts b/c there were a couple of things that were not fully addressed: The dishwasher was broken; notified the property manager, but issue was not fixed during our stay. The beds were comfortable, but only included sheets- only one bed had blanket/ comforter. Housekeeping stopped by to drop blankets (we got one blanket and one mattress pad- there were 4 of us in the cottage). Regardless of these smallish matters, everything was fine and we had a good time.

Easy access to pool and beach

All was smooth except , we had to beg for enough towels for our party of 8. Bring your own trash bags , and beach equipment.
