Master bedroom with electric curtains & kings super comfortable electric bed. Master bathroom - soak in the couple s bath, watching TV & sipping a glass of wine while enjoying the views. Relax in Kings Living Cloud chairs Mostly relax, enjoy & the fireplace where romance is in the air. Swim in the pool where privacy is provided to allow total relaxation.

Absolutely fabulous!

Our stay at Glenn and Penton’s house in Tighe’s Hill was absolute magic! The property is a light filled entertainment haven close to river walks, cool coffee shops, the beaches and city. The pool is like a little slice of LA and was in use constantly! Glenn and Penton were wonderfully welcoming and attentive. The beautiful view was enjoyed from the deck with the champagne and nibbles left for us on arrival. And a surprise of delicious cakes for our anniversary! Thank you!

Words can’t say how lovely & friendly our guests or should I say friends were. They were open to everything that Newie has to offer & made us feeling totally at ease when they stayed at our home. They left the house beautiful, beds made, all the towels in the laundry & had also a thank you bottle of wine & card. I can highly recommended then to stay stay at anyone’s home. You have nothing to worry about. If I could give them 6 stars I would actually give them 7 stars!!!!

Stunning house

A beautifully modern high-tech presented home suitable for everyone. Love the kitchen. It has everything you need for cooking. The lovely host Glen was so nice sending us all info of the surrounding places for fishing before arriving. He prepared nice cheese plate and champagne for us accompanied with Redel Champagne glasses. We accidentally broke one of the Redel glasses. Glen didn’t ask us pay for the damage. This is the most amazing house and owner I have ever met over the past couple years. Thank you for everything! We will definitely come back if we visit Newcastle again!

Fantastic family who always corresponded with us in detail advising arrival times etc. Followed all our rules & more, they even left there beds made when they left. They offered to pay for a broken glass which showed us how honest they were. Would love love love to have them back anytime.

Amazing! Don’t swipe past this property

Such a beautiful home. This place has everything you need and want in a holiday home. We stayed 7 nights and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. The pool is awesome and the layout of the property gives everyone the space they need to kick back and relax or do morning exercise in the driveway. The views are beautiful and the pool positioned to get sun all day long!! Summer is great here, but think this will be a fantastic getaway all year round. It’s been perfect for our family of 4 and the girls have loved it! The owners take care of every detail and are such beautiful people. Thanks for having us!!!

Luxurious Weekend with the ladies

I spent last weekend with a group of ladies catching up after the chaos of Christmas at Glenn and Penton's property in Tighes Hill. We have all met through teaching and have an annual weekend catch-up. We travelled from all over including Nyngan (rural NSW), Sydney, Cessnock and the Central Coast. Glenn met us at the property on arrival and spent time explaining the features of the property including the electric gate and garage, the kitchen appliances, various remote controls and air con. I am so glad he took the time to explain these features as we felt more comfortable using these items once he had gone. On arrival we found a platter set up with a beautiful selection of cheeses, crackers, nibbles and a bottle of Tempus Two Moscato. The house, inside features, pool and outside surrounds was simply amazing! There was amazing artwork on the walls, sculptures outside and huge mirrors spread throughout the house (great for so many ladies in the one house when getting ready for the day!) We felt like we were royalty all weekend spending time in the sparkling pool and inside looking out at the amazing view. One of the ladies staying fell in love with the grand piano and played it well into the Friday evening. The beds were like sleeping on clouds, the bathrooms were huge and allowed a few of us to use the mirrors at the one time. The bedding and towels were lovely and great quality. We treated it like it was our own home and was very sad to leave on Sunday morning! Glenn was a wonderful host and communication with him throughout and after the stay was great. This house (or mansion as some of the ladies referred to it) was simply incredible and I would love to stay here again! Thank you Glenn and Penton for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! They left the house beautiful even offering to strip the bed etc (which wasn’t necessary) I have to say if I could give Lauren a rating of 6 I would!!! Newcastle at its best!

Great overall experience. The house first of all is impeccable down to the finest detail. The hosts are so great and made sure we had everything we needed and a little extra (just what we all need right) btw the towels and sheets... next level!! Thank you so much. Will definitely be back.

A wonderful weekend with family

We were so blown away by both this property and Glenn and Penton's hospitality. We enjoyed the pool, the views, the beautifully presented layout and just felt so at home. On the lead up to the stay, Glenn simply couldn't do enough for us. Although this stylish home was not really built for kids, Glenn welcomed our extended family and our weekend was full of laughs, games and bike rides into Newcastle. Thank you so much for having us. Really thoughtful hosts

What a fantastic weekend away! Our very kind hosts thought of everything we might and we loved getting away to this very stylish retreat. The house is huge, so even though there were a few of us, we were able to spread out and relax, enjoying views of the river and city or floating in the pool. Thank you!
