Enjoy an elevated experience in the Penthouse 413. As the only unit on the 3rd floor of The Beach Pad, this loft has the best views and is the most private. Open the 10ft glass doors to your private balcony and enjoy the amazing views and crosswinds. Sit at the cafe table on your balcony for views of the waves at Sandy Beach and the surrounding dense, lush greenery. Birds will serenade you in the morning and coquis will greet you every night! The rooftop deck is just outside the Penthouse door. The Beach Pad is the only property in the Sandy Beach area that has solar and a commercial grade generator, 2 backup sources of power, in an effort to ensure our guests’ comfort during the frequent power outages in Puntas.

COVID Update: Those visiting Puerto Rico should review the local measures in place, developed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), such as social distancing, mandatory face coverings in public areas, and mandates for businesses. Travelers entering the island may have to provide the following forms upon arrival: a Travel Declaration Form, a vaccination card, or negative PCR molecular or antigen COVID-19 test results.

We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, above and beyond CDC recommendations, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Our new cleaning protocol includes, but is not limited to: masks worn by cleaning staff, hand sanitizer provided in every room, and additional sterilization of high-touch areas like door knobs and handles. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community.

Noise level warning: The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental property surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars in the center of Puntas. It is conveniently located and during high season (Dec-April) and holiday weekends you may hear live bands or DJs until midnight on weekdays and much later on weekends. All other times of the year you will find it to be much quieter. If you are looking for an extremely quiet, away from it all location, this may not be your best choice.

From August through October some restaurants and bars close for the season or have limited hours. There are still plenty of restaurants open year-round and you can always check with us, or your digital guidebook to find out what is open!

Close to everything

This apartment was perfect for my husband and I. We were close to the beach and restaurants. We loved Tamboo restaurant and Calypso Cafe. We even drove to Balneario Boqueron in Cabo Rojo one day. We loved the little balcony and the shared penthouse deck. Be careful driving because a lot of the roads are narrow and some are steep plus people walk in the street. We loved it there!

First time in Rincon!

We were soo happy staying in the penthouse! All the rooms were amazing but being on top was extra special and fairly priced. We became great friends with our neighbors, a surfer family from New Jersey, a father and his two sons in their 20’s. The location was perfect. The room was immaculate and spacious. We slept great. Also the king is two twins and cuddles were difficult with the crack. The host was very accommodating for us and even gave us an early check in! I highly recommend staying at this beach paradise!!!!

Absolutely Amazing

It was an absolutely amazing! I wouldn't change one single thing about how perfect our stay was. We are already planning our next trip to stay in the penthouse! the view was amazing with a private balcony looking out on the town but still had peace and quiet. We could walk to Sandy beach, the best little coffee shop (Jakes Java), a couple restaurants and bars and had perfect private parking! We will 100% be back !!!

Alan & I love to travel and stay in homes around the world so that we can feel like we are actually living wherever we are for a moment in time. We like going to the grocery store, meeting the locals and not having housekeeping knocking on your door. We live by the motto, "choose happiness" so when we became fascinated by the idea of owning our own vacation rental property to host other people like us, we made it happen!

We bought a house in Rincón where Alan's mother and grandmother were both born. He only had early childhood memories from Rincón but after we went to visit we just couldn't stay away from the stunning beaches and amazingly open and kind locals. Every time we would visit we became more convinced that this was our little slice of paradise. Owning and running our home in Rincón is truly a dream come true for us and we are determined to being the very best hosts possible.
