House was perfect for our large group, location was excellent. So many decisions for getting in the water! The pool was fab and enjoyed all weekend. Would absolutely stay again!

Weekend getaway

Great experience overall…great location and excellent amenities. Jenny, the property manager, was quick to answer our calls and help with any issues. Only problem we faced was an upstairs toilet being very slow to drain. We had a wonderful time!

perfect family vacation

The house was a great location. Very clean. The pool was just right after a day on the beach and the hot tub was great for and evening adult time when the kids went to bed. We had a small issue and one text message to Jenny, and she was there within 30 mins and resolved the issue. When you have a person like Jenny taking care of you and the house it makes me want to book again!!! Great location! We brought our golf carts, and they were our main source of transportation. Check this house out!!!!

Adequate, but needs some TLC

There are many positive things about this house. The location is great - quick walk to the beach and right on the beach access road. Several bedrooms, including a good mix of king and bunk beds. Two dining tables are nice for eating, playing games, etc. Linens are provided without an extra charge, which is nice. We didn't use the pool or outdoor bar area, but they looked nice. Overall, though, we found the house to be in need of some TLC and a deep clean. Walls and baseboards are dingy. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans were dirty and had to be washed before using them. The outdoor water appeared to be turned off, as neither the hose nor outdoor shower worked. Several lightbulbs were out. The couches in the main sitting area are quite dirty and very uncomfortable. We found a package of half consumed "Turkish Delights" shoved between the couch cushions. For a house that sleeps 17, more seating would be nice. I realized only now that the glowing reviews are mostly from 2022, and the house was only rented twice in 2023. Convenient, but I would not stay here again.

Needs TLC

The location was perfect for traveling to the beach, just a quick one block walk. The house its self needs to have some attention, doors, base boards need some painting and cleaning. Cabinet and food storage is very minimal, they actually have the food pantry locked, and using to store cleaning items so all of our food items for a week for 11 people had to be stuffed on top the fridge and on the counters. Which is difficult as there is very limited kitchen space and storage. There was also a closet in a bedroom locked for their storage as well, so clothes and suitcase had to be in the floor. The biggest disappointment was there were ZERO pool items for the kids or adults, no beach chairs or umbrellas.so we had to spend a couple hundred dollars for these items. As a place hosting out of state families spending a few hundred dollars on these items seems like a simple ask for the price of staying there. We have stayed in several places in NC and all these items are provided. It’s the little things that make spending thousands of dollars easy. The outside area there were several of the light around the pool not working, as well the outside shower does not work, the outdoor bar was full of sand and the outdoor TV does not work. The outside shower would seriously help with keeping the sand out of the house and pool. These are the same issues we seen on a 2022 review. So it appears the owners are unwilling to make these simple repairs. We would not stay there again.

Great location and a great house! We celebrated the retirement of one of our Law Enforcement Officers and we had an EPIC time! Well stocked house with lots of room to spread out. The bar under the house was a great central location for all of us to hang out and celebrate by the pool!!!

Great place!!

Stayed a week with family from all over. The process and communication were great! PM was friendly and helpful. We had plenty of room, comfortable beds and seating. A block from the beach and tons of great restaurants. Kitchen is also well equipped.

Overall it was great stay. We had issues with the hot tub as it was not clean when we arrived but the owner was prompt in getting it cleaned for us. It’s only few steps from the beach.

Beach vacation stay

Arrived with a very easy and convenient check-in, the owners even accommodated an early check-in with no problems. Home was very clean and located within walking distance to the beach and a quick drive to other activities and great food. Spacious bedrooms with convenient amenities, such as grill, pool, outside shower, and beach toys and chairs to use. Very good house for a big family vacation, a must have! Would definitely recommend and revisit.

The property was very nice and clean. The owner was responsive and very helpful.

This was an excellent vacation home for my family and I. It was 17 of us and we all fit nicely and comfortable. Everything was smooth starting with checking. The second day the AC unit in the first floor stopped working but the owner was diligent and sent someone right away. Jenny, the housekeeper, does an excellent job cleaning and maintaining the property ideal. We enjoyed the pool and all its amenities, the close proximity to the beach was excellent. Very close to Walmart and other stores. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Cissy was great to work with and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The house was located less than a block from the beach so we walked back and forth very quickly and easily. The TV over the bar by the pool was a great hit with the teenagers and young adults in our group. The house was clean and the property manager responded quickly to any issues that arose.
