Refresh your Heart & Soul! Located just north of Governor’s Harbour on the island of Eleuthera, the Heart and Soul house is your private escape to paradise. This Island retreat is located on top of a hill catching cool breezes and providing generous views of the Atlantic and Caribbean waters.

Enjoy the private botanical garden, which boasts of exotic plants, flowers, fruit trees, a walking path, and plenty of outdoor seating areas. You can even cool off and relax in your own private pool beneath the shade of trees, and enjoy the floral scents of the blooming flowers.

Inside, turn on your favorite music, and enjoy the bright, open concept living area, and kitchen. Enjoy a cool drink and a Caribbean inspired meal on one of the handmade, driftwood stools, around the large center island. Kick up your feet, open the windows and enjoy the tropical breeze, or turn on the air conditioning to relax and enjoy your cozy home away from home.

Each bedroom has its own ultra quiet, split level air-conditioning, a large closet, and comfortable queen size bed with luxurious high thread count bedding. The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large tiled shower. The guest bathroom is bright with natural light, decoration, and a large tiled shower. Each shower has a deluxe, spa type shower head, amazing water pressure, and on demand hot water.

Heart and Soul, has a fantastic location just minutes away from Governors Harbour where you can enjoy many restaurants, coffee shops, the Fish Fry (every Friday night), the catch of the day from local fishermen, and two grocery stores. With its central location, Heart and Soul is the perfect place to begin each day exploring all that Eleuthera has to offer. Explore the Glass Window Bridge, Ocean Hole, Lighthouse Beach, or take an Adventure Tour or fishing trip with one of Eleuthera s expert guides. All these attractions are within a reasonable drive from the front door.

Water access is a quick walk or drive in either direction. At the bottom of the street, there is access to great snorkeling on the Caribbean side. The swimming area has a large cement pad on the coral and a swimming ladder to ease in and out of the perfect blue water. You will find reef teaming with tropical fish, sea stars, and beautiful coral right as you enter the water. Eleuthera has over 100 beaches. Many of the top rated beaches are a short drive from the house, including Twin Cove, French Leave, Ten Bay, Cocodimama, or find one of the many others to have all to yourself.

Much needed vacation!

We absolutely loved staying at Heart and Soul! The location was perfect and the house was perfect for our family of four. The plunge pool was wonderful after exploring the many beaches. We hated to leave and look forward to coming back! Sherrie the property manager was lovely to communicate with and was very helpful!

Clean and Comfortable

This was our first time visiting Eleuthera. We were very satisfied with the house and it’s location. It is a quick drive to some wonderful beaches and a quick walk down to a neat place for snorkeling. Ken and his wife were quick and helpful with answering all of our questions. He even greeted us upon our arrival as his family lives right across the street. The pool was small but the kids enjoyed a refreshing dip after visiting the ocean. The house was clean and well equipped for our stay! Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Great stay at Heart and Soul!

Pros: Lovely property, very nicely decorated and well furnished. The grounds were beautiful, kids had fun exploring the fruit trees and various plants in the big beautiful backyard. Great to have space to explore. Cons: Quite disappointed in the pool as it was really no more than an oversized hot tub. The pictures made it seem like it would be much larger. Also, the location wasn't ideal for us as we would have preferred something closer to useable water and within walking distance to a town, restaurants, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and easy drives into GH and to local beaches! Thank you so much!

Perfect Vacation

Cant thank Ken and his family for an amazing stay. The home exceeds the description. the pool is perfect. The house is well stocked with linens ,towels ,beach towels paper goods dishware silverware ,pots and pans ,everything. The hot water and pressure in both showers were fantastic. The beds super comfy. The ac when needed ,excellent . The gardens stunning. The location ,perfect. Leading up to the trip Ken was extremely helpful. During the stay was just as helpful with local tips. Introduced us to Julius of the Fishbone restaurant and Fishbone charters. Great people. As a first time visitor to this beautiful island, Ken and his family made it a special one. Cant wait to get back. Thank you Ken

We are a fun loving easy going family. We love to travel, meet new people, and experience new culture. We started visiting Eleuthera in the late 1990's and became full time residents in 2015. We love the outdoors and can be found enjoying creation everywhere. We enjoy the beach and the mountains alike but most of all we enjoy the wonderful people God puts into our lives.

Why they chose this property

The Heart and Soul House has a great location. We are only a few short minutes from the shops and restaurants in Governors Harbour, but we are just far enough away to be away to be in the peace and quiet. The house is solid, quiet, comfortable, and has good views of both sides of the Island. We have been using this house for the past 2 years when friends and family visit and we liked it so much we decided that we wanted to buy it in January of 2019. The neighbors are wonderful and from all over the world!

What makes this property unique

One of the most popular attractions in Eleuthera is the Leon Levy Plant Preserve. The Heart and Soul House has its very own miniature Plant Preserve. The yard is very large and has a very unique plants and trees that make a very impressive botanical garden. There is lots of outdoor space, a walking path, flowers, fruit trees, nut trees, and places to kick your feet up and admire views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean side of the Island.
