Every room in the town home is very roomy and clean. No little extras, soap bottles are refilled with some odd color soap. Blankets are the same as the pictures years ago. Does have pots, pans and dishes but like all the home, an upgrade is needed badly. Front porch and deck hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Needs some tlc!
We were going to cook breakfast but the skillets were nasty. There wasn’t any kitchen spices. We felt like we were camping out instead having a nice kitchen to cook in. Not enough towels for 6 people. Table top in living room was broken. Both chairs in living room seem broken. We almost flipped over. That could hurt someone. Window shade in front bedroom won’t go down all the way. Lamp in living room didn’t work. All the cushions on the porches were worn out. It seems like this place was sold “as is” and never cleaned up good. I don’t think we will stay here again. This place would be wonderful with some cleaning up.
We stayed for the weekend and into the next week to view the total eclipse. The home was a great place for our group to stay within the Village. The beds were comfy, the view from the deck is great, having a screen porch was really nice, and the kids really enjoyed fishing down by the lake. The bathrooms were well tended to, had plenty of towels and washcloths. There were extra sheets and blankets in the closets, and plenty of storage room in the closets or dressers. The washer and dryer on site was great to have. The dining table was a great spot to gather. There was even a backup coffee maker :)
There were a couple of things that could have made the trip better: the TVs were older and not hooked to the cable, requiring either a DVD player or firestick (this was not communicated beforehand or we could have brought DVDs or a firestick). During the stay we cooked most of our meals, and the microwave is a lower wattage - it took a while to warm things when needed. We had only a two hand towels and one washcloth for the kitchen for the entire stay (yes we washed and reused, but we cooked almost every meal on site in the home, and they dirtied quickly). There were a few other small things that I felt could have made our trip better - when I'm on vacation, I don't want to have to worry about home repairs or appliances that don't work well, I already deal with that at home. I think this home could be amazing with a few small updates (and more kitchen towels!)

Thank you for choosing to stay with us! We appreciate your business and hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again soon.
The townhouse was perfect for us. It isn’t updated but it was clean and at a great price. We had access to Lake Desoto and brought some rafts, there isn’t a dock, but you can walk right out to the lake. We rented a boat and tube on Lake Balboa and had a blast. I would have liked to have had a few more condiments, like salt and pepper, maybe cream and sugar. We also would have liked to sit outside on the covered patio but it could use a good cleaning and I was afraid of getting chiggers. Our coffee maker didn’t work and my husband called them and a new one was there that afternoon. (We were very impressed by that.) Overall we had a great experience and plan on staying there again.
The place is a little dated but roomy and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. I felt very safe in the village.

Good location
The property has seen better days. It is extremely outdated & in need of repairs. Carpet is very stained, wallpaper is falling off, lights don’t work & doors are falling off closets. The only outstanding feature is that is right next to the lake. The outdoors surrounding the property is peaceful. The owners need to give this property some TLC.
